Key Points

In order to restore the blood lineage and send Jesus to earth, God had to follow an unimaginable and incomprehensible course.
In the Old Testament the punishment for fornication, adultery, homosexuality and other sexual sin was death, or banishment for incest.
Man’s sexual organ is the head of a viper, and the woman’s sexual organ is a poison jar. If a man's sexual organ enters a woman's sexual organ at an untimely time without God's permission, the poison spreads and the couple dies forever.
As reflected in Deuteronomy 20: 10-17, heavenly law about sexual sin is ironclad and carries a heavy indemnity burden.
Sexual sin is a life-and-death issue for our young people today, so we need to be role models for them and be desperate to help them fix this problem by connecting with True Parents, receiving the Blessing and being well educated about it. Their problem is ours.
The Holy Spirit helps those who offer jeongseong conditions without knowing True Parents or the Principle, but those who are blessed and follow True Parents’ model for subjugating Satan are beyond the level of the Holy Spirit, so she does not help them.
Because True Parents are the substance of the Holy Spirit and the model for human beings, the Holy Spirit no longer works with Unification members.
Our spouse is the Holy Spirit’s representative. It is our responsibility to serve our spouse well as our Holy Spirit and treat him or her like God, rather than to look elsewhere for the Holy Spirit to help us resolve our quarrels.
We should think of blessed children as God's children at a higher level than we are. We should educate them about good and evil using respectful language and avoiding orders. Rather than direct instruction, we should guide them to self-discovery of truth.
The best education is one that leads you to realize things yourself rather than direct education. Then you have a sense of ownership, and a voluntary heart springs up.
If we offer sincere jeongseong, have affection for the Providence, treat people with affection and try to save them, the spirit world will testify about us through dreams. Test it out.
In this age of the victory of love, we should consider the closest and most precious person in our family like Heaven and create a family overflowing with joy and peace through victory on the individual and family levels through love.

Today is a very special day. It is exactly two years since I came to the United States, and on October 26 it will be two years since Morning Devotion started. Then the third year will come. Time really goes by so fast.
I would like to express my gratitude to Heavenly Parent and True Parents who have protected and guided me in various ways during this time. And I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your devotion and prayers from North America... on a continental level.
Today I’d like to talk about “God, Women and World Peace” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.
<This was an invitational address delivered on September 7, 1993 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York> The lineage of Judah developed for generations, expanding to the levels of the tribe, society and nation. From this lineage, Mary was born in Israel two thousand years later. Mary had the responsibility of uniting the Cain and Abel figures on the family, clan and national levels through paying appropriate indemnity and restoring the right of the elder son. Mary responded to God's call and conceived Jesus, even though, in the eyes of others, she had betrayed her parents and Joseph, to whom she was engaged. At that time it was customary to stone to death a woman who became pregnant out of wedlock. However, Joseph, standing in the position of Adam, courageously protected his fiancée and would not abandon her.
Because of Mary's faith, and the victories of Rebekah and Tamar, Satan could not claim sovereignty over Jesus in Mary's womb. Jesus was born in the position of a true Son under God's complete, direct lineage. He is the first true son of God, based upon the purification of the fallen lineage. That is why Jesus, the only begotten son of God, is the saint of all saints and the ancestor of God's true lineage. His birth represented the conclusion of the Old Testament Age at the national level and the dawn of the New Testament Age at the worldwide level. Mary, in the position to restore fallen Eve, had to build unity between Jesus, who was in the position of Abel, and his elder cousin, John the Baptist, who was in the position of Cain. This unity was essential if the people of Israel were to recognize Jesus as the Messiah.

You can see how unimaginable and incomprehensible (was the way) provided by God to restore blood lineage in order to send Jesus, the only begotten Son without original sin, to this earth.
It is really incredible. Mary’s faith was really great. Of course, later on she could not do much, but when she (became) pregnant because of God’s order, it was really amazing.
At that time, we can see how strict the laws of the Old Testament were and how God educated the chosen people of Israel by looking at the following verses of the Bible.
Penalties for Disobeying God's Laws (Penalties for Fornication)
Leviticus 20: 10-17
10. If any of you men have sex with another man's wife, both you and the woman will be put to death.
11 Having sex with one of your father's wives disgraces him. So both you and the woman will be put to death, just as you deserve.
12 It isn't natural to have sex with your daughter-in-law, and both of you will be put to death, just as you deserve.
13 It's disgusting for men to have sex with one another, and those who do will be put to death, just as they deserve.
14 It isn't natural for a man to marry both a mother and her daughter, and so all three of them will be burned to death.
15-16 If any of you have sex with an animal, both you and the animal will be put to death, just as you deserve.
17 If you marry one of your sisters, you will be punished, and the two of you will be disgraced by being openly forced out of the community.
Wow! From this, we can see how serious the sin of adultery is. The crimes of adultery and homosexuality must have been severely punished.
And according to True Parents' words, depending on how you use the human organ of love, you will be at a crossroads between heaven and hell.
Neither God nor any great person can solve this problem. Only for the Messiah who has the authority to forgive sins is it possible.
Imagine that more than 90% of people will go to hell because of this adultery and obscenity. Consider how great our responsibility is to educate in principle (about) all these things from this standpoint.
It was very serious. Anyone who committed sexual sin was put to death. How about in the New Testament Era and the Completed Testament Era? It should be even more serious. Anyone who committed sexual sin needed to pay the indemnity. They could not avoid it. This is the reality. How can we deal with this kind of adultery sin and homosexuality? This is incredible.
Our portion of responsibility is very serious (about) how to educate our second generation and third generation, future generations, young people, outside people. How can we educate them? Wow! We could not even have an exemplary life for secular world people. This is God’s law and the Principle.
(People may say,) “Oh, Dr. Yong, don’t deal with this issue in this way in this kind of era!”
Anyway, reality is reality. When you go to the spiritual world, you will tragically(?) face this issue. Even if someone doesn’t want to hear this, I am telling you, this is God’s law, heavenly law. No matter what, we need to deal with this issue.
That is why we have True Parents. True Parents have the authority to forgive sin. Let people come in, and (then) we need to have the forgiving ceremony which is the Blessing.
If our children are having some problem, we need to fix it. Their problem is my problem. (We can’t) simply judge them. How can we solve the problem, fix it? This is our issue, our current issue.
If we try to avoid the issue... I am telling you, we cannot save our children, we cannot save our nation. Only through True Parents and the Divine Principle, only through the Blessing drinking holy wine can this be settled. (There is) no other way. Then (we need to offer them) education.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: The Fall - 4. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil
• God did not create Adam to be alone; He also created Eve to be Adam's spouse.
• Just as there was a tree in the Garden of Eden which symbolized a perfect man, there should also have been a tree which represented a woman who has fully realized the ideal of creation.
• Standing beside the tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil mentioned in Gen. 2:9 was this tree.
• The tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents the ideal woman, perfected Eve.
• The Bible refers to Jesus using the metaphors of a vine (John 15:5) and a branch (Isa. 11:1). Likewise, to give us a hint about the secret of the human Fall, God provided the symbolism of two trees to represent perfected Adam and Eve.
Let’s study Father’s word.
Now, I’ve Perfected the Words
<304-162> Now, so to speak, I’ve perfected all the words I said. What is the Garden of Eden? The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil mean the bodies of Adam and Eve. The snake means the men’s sexual organ. The snake, snake, snake did pick up the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This is talking about it. Men try to seduce women with it. I’ve taught you everything until now on. How dreadful it is! You, yourselves own the snake with poison. Chang Reol (a name of a brother member), have you ever thought about it? As a man, when he sees a woman more beautiful than his own wife, the organ is affected. It wants the organ of a woman. It is generally in charged of temptation. As I’ve already told you when God loves an individual, he feels the most hatred for the spot. Because man ruined heaven and earth then made it into hell, it destroyed the ideal of creation and left a flaw before God. This is the most troublesome matter.
All Secrets of the Bible Are now Revealed
<304-162>Therefore in order for unification movement members to return to the Garden of Eden to be united with God, there must be absolute sex, absolute love and absolute obedience centering on that organ. It means that God and humankind are to be united in that organ. For a man, even though he denies all the five sensory organs and sacrifices them over the senses of flesh, he must not sacrifice the senses of flesh - man’s sexual organ.. If that happens, the history disappears. A nation blows out and a tradition vanishes. Hearing that eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was prohibited, it was talking about the organ of a man. The advice was given centering on that organ. Therefore all secrets of the Bible are now revealed.
Our True Parents have really revealed all the secrets. Look at this (image).
Gen: 2:17 "...for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."
If you commit sexual sin, you shall surely die. You yourself own the snake with poison, Father said.
The thing hanging on a man is the head of a viper and the thing hanging on a woman is a poison jar:
Therefore, if a man's sexual organ enters a woman's sexual organ at an untimely time without God's permission, or if a woman's sexual organ accepts a man's sexual organ, the poison spreads and (she) dies forever.
Look at that snake, man’s love organ. Father said it is the head of a viper. And the woman’s love organ is a poison jar. Once one enters, they die forever.
On the other hand, how precious and important is man’s sexual organ. Once misused, what is the punishment? The story of Adam and Eve is not simply a symbolic story. It is really reality. We are dealing with this issue every day. That is why your sexual organ needs to be controlled. If you do not control it, then man’s love organ can be the head of a viper. If the woman does not control her sexual organ, it can be a poison jar. Once one enters, they die.
Who can solve this issue? Only the messiah. Even though many people read the Bible again and again, they do not know how serious this is. They don’t know the meaning of the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The Divine Principle clearly explains this.
What shall we do? I really need to repent. I did not educate our younger generation, the second generation and third generation, even our first generation. As a leader how much do I educate them? How exemplary am I? How pure am I? Just keeping purity externally is not the issue. Inside if there are all kinds of fallen nature and problems, my goodness! It is not a simple issue. That is why you and I are always struggling with this issue.
The Principle is the Principle. Even though (there are) challenges, not matter what, we need to overcome. Only True Parents are the solution. Divine Principle is the only solution. We need to accept the reality of this serious issue. I don’t want to be Satan’s equipment, Satan’s tool any more. I need to really be determined to be a really pure man and pure woman. Then from that day (on) our life (will) begin.
Also, as a blessed couple we have to be responsible for our second generation and third generation. Their problem comes from the first generation. We cannot simply blame them. We were unable to become exemplary blessed couples and we could not educate them properly. That is our problem.
That’s why we need to take very seriously how we can let them come back again. That is one our our challenges now, you and me together, right?
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: There is No Work of the Holy Spirit in the Unification Church
This is a very interesting title.
1. After receiving the Blessing, becoming a married couple, and realizing a family, there will be no more training period. Only practice remains. The Holy Spirit works for those who do not know the Principle, but it no longer works for us Unificationists. This is because we are not in a position where the Holy Spirit can come and work. Rather, the Holy Spirit is in a position to look up to us. It helps those who offer jeongseong conditions without knowing True Parents or the Principle. The Holy Spirit in Heaven cannot help but help those who offer jeongseong conditions without knowing the Principle. We met True Parents, who are the substance of the Holy Spirit rather than the Holy Spirit itself, and we have guidance through them, so why would the Holy Spirit come to us? Since we have received a higher level of education than the Holy Spirit’s, if we know the Principle, but do not practice it, and only offer jeongseong conditions, the spirit world will accuse us.
After Jesus died on the cross, there were many works of the Holy Spirit centered on Christianity. This is because there was no model on this earth that could be established as the center (among) fallen human beings.
However, True Parents, who came as the subject of the substantial Holy Spirit, came to this earth and showed us the model course of subjugating Satan. Therefore, it should be understood that the model (for) fallen human beings is the True Parents, not the work of the Holy Spirit centered on the spirit world.
We need to understand this point very clearly.
Therefore, there is no need for the direct work of the Holy Spirit centered on the spirit world after True Parents came to this earth. However, the Cheongpyeong providence began in order to liberate all the ancestors and spirits who had passed away beforehand.
After receiving the Blessing, becoming a married couple, and realizing a family, there will be no more training period. Only practice remains. The Holy Spirit works for those who do not know the Principle, but it no longer works for us Unificationists.
This is because we only need to follow the formula course of subjugating Satan shown by True Parents. Rather, the Holy Spirit is in a position to look up to us.
“Wow! You are a substantial Blessed couple. You are children of God, (the) true blood lineage of True Parents and Heavenly God. Do you still need the work of the Holy Spirit?
This is because we are in True Parents’ realm of direct dominion. However, the Holy Spirit helps those who offer jeongseong conditions without knowing True Parents or the Principle.
The Holy Spirit in Heaven cannot help but help those who offer jeongseong conditions without knowing the Divine Principle and True Parents. We met True Parents, who are the substance of the Holy Spirit rather than the Holy Spirit itself, and we have guidance through them, so why would the Holy Spirit come to us?
Your Spouse Represents the Holy Spirit
2. We live with our own spouse, the Holy Spirit’s representative, whom we met through True Parents. But if you blindly lay down on your stomach and pray and offer jeongseong, there is no meaning. How can you look for the Holy Spirit when your spouse is by your side representing God and the Holy Spirit? However, you should treat your spouse as if they were God. It would be far better to carry your husband or wife on your back than to stay up all night and pray as an indemnity condition when you quarrel and don’t get along. If you know it but don't practice it, you'll be accused by the spirit world. If you pray and offer jeongseong all night long saying, “Please make my husband repent. Please grow my husband’s faith,” how much will Heaven laugh? Why do you entrust your work to God and the spirit world? It is your responsibility to accept your spouse well and move them. The responsibility given to you is your own. Why ask the spirit world?
We live with our own spouse, the Holy Spirit’s representative, whom we met through True Parents. Serving, respecting, and loving one another after starting the family is sincere devotion and prayer itself.
However, while living with your spouse, if you blindly lay down on your stomach, offer jeongseong and pray, saying “Holy Spirit, help me. I am struggling with my wife, my husband. Holy Spirit, where are you?” What can you expect? How can you look for the Holy Spirit when your spouse is by your side representing God and the Holy Spirit?
Your spouse is your Holy Spirit. Why are you looking for the Holy Spirit?
That's why you should treat your spouse like God. It would be far better to carry your husband or wife on your back than to stay up all night and pray as an indemnity condition when you quarrel and don’t get along.
If you know it but don't practice it, you'll be accused by the spirit world, Father said. Why do you entrust your work to God and the spirit world? It is your responsibility to serve your spouse well and move him or her.
The responsibility given to you is your own. Why ask the spirit world?
Wow! We are higher than any spirit in the spiritual world. Father said that those blessed by True Parents are higher than any saints or sages, than Confucius or Buddha or even Jesus. Your level is higher than anyone else. That is why the spiritual world envies you. This is the meaning of the Blessing. How powerful the level of the Blessing (is)! We have changed our blood lineage.
But those who have not received the Blessing are still under Satan’s blood lineage. That is why any blessed couple enters the spiritual world (on a) higher (level) than any other spirit and any ancestors. How can your ancestors in the spiritual world help you? You are higher than anyone.
Children of Blessed Families Have a Higher Standard than Their Parents
3. Those who raise young children should be sure to use honorific titles for their children. You can't raise a child and think of them as your own child. Our God-given children are the substance of our family's blessing, so they are a higher level than the parents. Blessed children have a higher level than their parents, so you should use honorifics. Never give orders to your children, always consult with them, and ask about their wishes. Parents should serve their children well and move them. Blessed families are in fact God's direct lineage, so all our ancestors and spirit world see very highly of our children’s standards. So, when we raise our children, we can’t carelessly tell them to do this or that.
The Day of the Victory of Love and Spirit World’s Cooperation
4. The spirit world cannot intervene recklessly because good spirits know that the blessed families on this earth have received True Parents’ Blessing and the children are children of True Parents. Therefore, the spirit world tries to cooperate in a way that makes you realize things, such as by making you dream. From now on, our education should make people make their own realizations rather than direct education. That's what it means to respect that person. It's not good to be too straightforward. You have to talk in a roundabout way. If you tell your children to do this and that, you may be in a position of ignoring them. We should be well aware that this is the age of the victory of love. We must overcome everything with love and practice with love. In this age, we need to think about how the countless saints in heaven will rejoice and cooperate with us. Now all the good spirits in the spirit world want to cooperate with us. If we even have a little affection for the Providence, the spirit world will try to help.
So let's summarize what we have done so far.
Things to Note When Raising Blessed Children
1. Think of blessed children as God's children, not yours. Serve the blessed children as God’s princes and princesses.
2. When raising children, parents must always use respectful words with them, respectful language.
3. Blessed 2nd generations are Abel and closer to Heaven than blessed 1st generations from a lineage standpoint.
4. Never give orders to your children. Always consult with them and ask about their wishes. But with wisdom, educate yourself on the distinction between good and evil. You need to teach what good and evil is very clearly based on wisdom.
5. Parents should serve their children well and move them.
6. Blessed families are in fact God's direct lineage, so all our ancestors and spirit world (think) very highly of our children’s standards.
7. Give your children an education that makes them realize things themselves rather than a direct education. Do a “detour” education.
Test the Reaction of the Spirit World
5. If you treat people with affection or visit a family in order to save people with interest in the will, the spirit world will testify. Test it out. If you always worry about your area and give prayers and sincere devotion while trying to know their situation, you will appear in the other person's family through a dream from the spirit world. Please test how spirit world responds when you worry and pray for them with interest. You must always test how God and spirit world work with you. However, anyone who always lives habitually becomes pitiful. We must live knowing that we are the ones who should consider the closest and most precious person in our family like Heaven. As sons and daughters of the victory of love, in order to embrace the wishes of our parents and to realize them, we must achieve peace of love in the family and become a proud family of victory for our parents.
The best education is one that makes you realize things yourself rather than direct education. When you realize it yourself, you have a sense of ownership and a voluntary heart springs up.
The spirit world and good spirits try to cooperate by making earthly people have dreams to make their own realizations.
We should know well that this is the age of the victory of love. We must overcome everything with love and practice with love. So, we should always think about how the countless saints in heaven can rejoice and cooperate with us in this age.
If we even have a little affection for the Providence, the spirit world will try to help. If you treat people with affection or visit a family in order to save people with interest in the will, the spirit world will testify about you. Test it out.
If you constantly worry about your area and try to know about their situation while offering prayer and sincere devotion, test how the spirit world appears in their dreams and works.
They still do not know True Parents and the Divine Principle, so the Holy Spirit will help them. But our blessed couples are in a different situation. When we focus on God’s providence and try to save someone, surely all our ancestors and (the entire) spiritual world will help him. He will have a dream, and many phenomena can appear.
However, the problem is that anyone who always lives habitually and treats people habitually becomes pitiful. We must live knowing that we are the ones who should consider the closest and most precious person in our family like Heaven.
Facing the age of the victory of love, we must create a family overflowing with joy and peace through victory on the individual and family levels through love.
Today’s guidance is a little severe, but we need to be educated all the time. I really appreciate True Parents. We need to be educated on and on continuously. Without education our physical desires and our physical body (will) lead our spirit. That is a problem, right?
