God’s Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful Ideal World I - April 15 2023

· We need to show the result, show the faith, show the model life, show the substantial result. The Divine Principle is really true; True Parents are really the model for humankind.
· As a Blessed family, show the result, the model. This is the issue now.
· The movement to liberate the family is the movement that liberates God.
· Why is the second generation having so many problems? Because as the first generation, we do not show the model.
· Show how to love God, how to love True Parents, how to love all mankind, how to forgive our enemy. Then all children will absolutely follow.
· To become a savior, help others to resolve their immediate problems, show that you care, before trying to teach them about the Principle.
· How? First of all, we need to focus on what is their main problem? What do they need?
· Have the heart of a parent.
· Search for them. If they are hungry give them food, thirsty, give them water. Relationship problems, show them the model. That is the mission of the savior.
· Many people are spiritually thirsting for the truth. They really want to be shown the model. Show the model, then you can teach the Principle.
· Teach them how to be harmonious and show them the model of an ideal family.
· It is time to show, not just only talk about a theory.

God morning, Good morning, my dear brothers and sisters, clergy and Ambassadors for Peace! Yesterday, I had breakfast with two families. This couple is Robert & Karen Beebe. They are a model couple who run the New Hope School in New Jersey. I really love this couple so much. They are really sincere and so kind, and take care of many children. I heard from the staff that they really respect this couple.
This family is Johnson & Yukimi Okon and their children, Sasha and Tobes. Yukimi and Sasha are doing well with many activities, and Tobes is currently serving in the military.
Today I’d like to talk about “God’s Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful Ideal World I” from True Mother’s Anthology Vol.2.

God’s Model Ideal Family and Nation, and the Peace Kingdom
First, God, who exists as an incorporeal being—though He is the Subject being with dual characteristics in harmony—needed to assume a physical form through which He could relate with the entire world of substance, and not only the body of the man or that of the woman. Embodied within both Adam and Eve, He intended to communicate and work freely in relation to the entire universe, the world of substance. This is because the incorporeal God, without a physical body, meets certain limits in dealing with the corporeal world of substance.
Therefore, if Adam and Eve had attended God in their hearts and become one with Him, then married on the basis of having perfected themselves, had children and created a family, they would have become the external and horizontal True Parents in substance, while God would have been the internal and vertical True Parent in substance. If only this had come to pass, Adam and Eve would have resembled God 100 percent, both in their inner nature and outer form. If Adam and Eve, had become the True Parents of humankind, achieving complete oneness with God, then, through experiences with them in their daily lives, other people would have been able to perceive the true reality of God.

Not only the body of the man or that of the woman, but embodied within both Adam and Eve, He intended to communicate and work freely in relation to the entire universe, the world of substance.
Therefore, if Adam and Eve had attended God in their hearts and become one with Him, then married on the basis of having perfected themselves, had children and created a family, they would have become the external and horizontal True Parents in substance, while God would have been the internal and vertical True Parent in substance.
So, God’s purpose of creation was for human beings to ultimately become True Parents that resemble God. In a word, God’s purpose of creation is for Him to become the True Parent through human beings. When looking from such principle of creation, the final purpose of life for us human beings is also to become True Parents. Becoming True Parents is the final goal achieved through the courses of true children, true siblings, and true couples.
The Messiah alone is not True Parents. All human beings must become True Parents, too. To become true parents, man and woman have to marry. And then they need to have children. The completion of True Parents is the completion of everything. God’s purpose of creation is to create True Parents. The purpose of our lives is to become True Parents. It is very clear.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE:
God’s Work of Salvation
I. God’s Work of Salvation is the Providence of Restoration
· God intended to create a world of goodness and experience from it the utmost joy; yet due to the human Fall, the world came to be filled with sin and sorrow.
· If this sinful world were to continue forever in its present state, then God would be an impotent and ineffectual God who failed in His creation. Therefore, God will save this sinful world, by all means.
· To save a person suffering under the yoke of sin means to restore him to his original, sinless state.
· Thus, God’s work of salvation is the providence of restoration.
· The human Fall was undoubtedly the result of human mistakes.
· Nevertheless, God also assumes some responsibility for the outcome because it was He who created human beings.
· God, the eternal subject partner, created us to live eternally because He wanted to share eternal joy with human beings as His object partners.
· Therefore, God saves fallen people and restores them to the original, pure state in which He initially created them.
II. The Goal of the Providence of Salvation
· God’s purpose of creation is the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven, which in its totality is God’s good object partner. The center of God’s Kingdom on earth is to be human beings.
· Ever since the fall of the first human ancestors frustrated this Will, the primary goal of the providence of restoration has been nothing less than to rebuild the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
· Jesus told his disciples to pray, “Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matt. 6:10) His words testify that the goal of the providence of restoration is the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
We are talking about God’s plan of salvation from individual salvation to God’s liberation. Today, we will learn about God’s liberation as the final stage.
God’s Plan for Salvation
God’s Liberation
§ God cannot bring about His own liberation.
§ Only when God is liberated can man be completely liberated. Because God is the parent of human beings. Even though we try to liberate God, as long as we do not liberate our own situation, we as his children cannot liberate God.
§ The ultimate goal of the providence of restoration is to totally liberate God on the basis of liberating all mankind. We need to liberate all our ancestors who have passed into the spirit world.
Liberation of God through True Parents.
“What does it mean to be dealing with history? We can liberate God only when we become one with the True Parents and wipe away all of Satan’s conditions for accusation. Without liquidating Satan’s conditions, it is impossible to enter into the realm of ownership within God’s heart.” (137-268, 1986.1.3)
God’s liberation is possible only when, with God’s help, we become one with True Parents and overcome all of Satan’s conditions for accusation and bring Satan to natural surrender.
Even while dying on the cross, Jesus’ act of forgiving his enemies and asking God to have mercy for them made Satan unable to accuse Jesus. This became a condition for Jesus to be resurrected by Satan’s natural surrender.
For complete liberation to happen, there must be a condition of natural surrender that even Satan himself cannot accuse.
“Throughout history, human beings have been searching for their own liberation and salvation, but who has been concerned about God’s situation? Does God dwell in blissful joy for eternity, not in need of liberation? God is the Parent who has been mourning over human beings as they suffered in sin and evil throughout history. How, then, can God rejoice with a liberated heart? It is impossible. Depending on the degree of earthly liberation, God’s heart can also be liberated. Only when God is liberated can human beings be liberated, be free to enjoy a family life of true love, and bring liberation to the creation.” (April 30, 2004)
True Father said that after Adam and Eve fell, human beings have been struggling for their own liberation and salvation, but not even one person has ever been concerned about God’s liberation and made the effort to realize it.
Because we think of God as an omnipotent God, we think that God does not need liberation, that whatever he wants, he can do anything. But who has ever been concerned about God’s situation and wish? If human beings had not originally fallen, wouldn't God dwell in blissful joy for eternity, not in need of liberation?
We need to know that God is the Parent who has been mourning over human beings as they suffered in sin and evil throughout history. How, then, can God rejoice with a liberated heart?
We need to know that depending on the degree of liberation of earthly people and spirits and their numbers and quantity, God’s heart can also be liberated.
In the end, only when human beings are liberated from Satan can God be liberated as well, and on the other hand, we human beings and all creation can be liberated only to the extent that God is liberated. Of course Father is really saying that we need to liberate humankind first. Without liberating each human being, God’s heart cannot be liberated, because he is their Parent. When all his children are finally liberated, then God can finally rest. That is why God is really a sorrowful God. As much as we grow up to become a completed being, that is how much God will be liberated.
The Ultimate Goal of Salvation
The ultimate goal of God’s providence of salvation goes beyond the individual; it is to liberate and save the family, tribe, nation, physical world and the spirit world including hell. Until this is done, God Himself is not liberated. When the purpose of God’s providence of salvation is fully attained, in other words, when even hell and all the spirit world are liberated, on that day, God will declare the completion of His ideal, proclaiming, “My will is done! Hallelujah! March forward into one world, under the dominion of My love.” (114-77, May 17, 1981)
The ultimate goal of God’s providence of salvation goes beyond the individual; it is to liberate and save the family, tribe, nation, physical world and the spirit world including hell. When all the people of the physical world and all spirits of the spirit world are saved without leaving behind a single person, then God can finally declare the completion of His ideal. Until this is done, God Himself is not liberated. That’s why God is really miserable. He cannot rest until all mankind in physical and spiritual world are completely liberated. He needs to work hard to save each human being. That is God’s reality.
Salvation Begins from the Family
“The way to be influential is not through ruling the government. It starts from inside your home. The providence of salvation doesn’t begin from the top. It begins in the family.”
We need to know the truth that God’s liberation begins with our families becoming ideal families.
Therefore, we must know that God's liberation eventually begins with the family.
“In saving the world, we should first liberate God. The world can be liberated only after God is liberated. Isn’t that so? I am saying that we should liberate the world after we have liberated God. So let us spread the Unification Church to the ends of the earth, establish bonds of heart, and show our determination by driving a stake into the ground to melt the world with love. This is the battle we are fighting.” (162‑221, 1987.4.12)
This is True Parent’s attitude. That God can only be liberated, at the end, after the liberation of all mankind. Then finally, he can rest.
True Parents’ final goal is the liberation of humankind and the liberation of God. When human beings are liberated, God is automatically liberated. Parents feel hurt when any one of their children are hurt.
God’s wish is for humankind to be liberated first before His own liberation. For this purpose, True Parents have offered their entire lives for world peace and the liberation of humankind.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY:
Now is the Age to Show God in the Family
1. Now, the age of faith has ended, and the age of searching and crying out “where is God?” has also ended. Now is the age when we experience God living and working in the family when the husband and wife unite. Now is such an age when the husband and wife become one and show the substantial God. A couple of filial piety is two becoming one. There is no way for family peace and world peace to start anywhere else. It must start in the family. Through True Parents, God has shown us all the models thus far. In the Old Testament Age, God directly intervened and led the providence. In the New Testament Age, He showed the age of faith through Jesus. But in the present age, True Parents have shown to us everything that God has to show. Now, it is no longer the age to look up to the invisible God. That time has passed.
The New Age is When the Couple Must Be Harmonious
2. God has taught us everything through True Parents, so there is no longer the need to rely on God. The husband and wife having to be harmonious is something everyone knows and agrees on, even if secular people do not know God or the Principle. Anyone will agree and say that it is unmistakable that the husband and wife have to unite. If the couple is disharmonious, suffering will come instantly; if they are harmonious, their hearts will simply move. Is there anybody that doesn’t know that the couple must be harmonious? In this age, since we have entered the realm of fortune of True Parents’ victory, everything will be known. Secular people are also well aware. They all know that selfish individualism will lead to perish, and they know that if the husband and wife are in discord, their family becomes miserable. Are there people that do not know this even now? Have you ever seen a couple happy because they are in discord?
Our Blessed Families’ Responsibility
3. People who lived in the age of faith did not know that. They thought that if you just unconditionally believe, everything will be resolved. The fact that they believed that they received salvation just by believing in Jesus was very obscure. Now is clearly the age when you and I must unite, when husband and wife must unite. That is why our Unification movement is to become the model and make our neighbors harmonious. Our peace movement is ultimately a movement that liberates God’s sorrow. In the end, in the conflicts of the history of humankind, problems arose because God and human beings were not in harmony and human beings were not in harmony with each other. That is why our blessed families, who know this principle very well, need to move to spread this principle of harmony and the Blessing to our surroundings and neighbors. To do that, we need to go around, looking for neighbors. The world is gradually drifting towards the fallen world, but we need to know that on one hand, the environment which can be connected spiritually has also become closer.
Go to Discordant Families and Teach Them How to Be Harmonious
4. In America, it seems that it is rather more effective when members from the East come into contact with western people. Eastern members should try approaching western people spiritually while saying that they came after receiving Heaven’s revelation from the East. In particular, since this country is a Christian country, it can be seen that it is more open-minded than other countries in some aspects. When you try meeting people, you might meet very promising families who were prepared by Heaven. If you find discordant families and teach them how to be harmonious, you become the savior of that family. Through Morning Devotion, haven’t you learned many principles on how the couple can be harmonious? That is why we need to visit such families and help them so that the relationship between the husband and wife can become harmonious. How much would this relationship affect happiness or misery? If you form relationships well, is any anything better and more joyful than that?
Resolve the Matters People Need and Worry About the Most
5. From now on, when we witness, we first need to try to help people with the matters they need and worry about the most. We must try to help them with mainly problems of harmony, such as their couple relationship, parent-child relationship, siblings’ relationship, and so on. And we must also let them know that now, the age has come when we make the family harmonious owing to women. Rather than asking whether they believe in God or not or what their purpose of life is right from the start, if we just grasp what their greatest problem is and help them resolve it, they are bound to take interest in us. We need to let them know how not to conflict between husband and wife but to live harmoniously. Interpersonal relationships will improve and become peaceful if we just don’t conflict with each other. In the family, if each person seeks peace with the heart of living for the sake of each other, then that family becomes a hopeful family. If our relationships are just harmonious, there would be no way suffering would come. Now is really different from the past ages. This is because God has paid all indemnity and pioneered an amazing age through True Parents. Since God has driven such an age until this day, all mankind must go on that path.
Even Doctors Cannot Cure Diseases of Discord
6. Even doctors cannot cure diseases of discord that arise from human relationships. Can a doctor cure diseases caused by wrongful love? Diseases caused by failing to give and receive love amicably can only be cured by love. If people are unable to cure this disease, they become dried and crooked and suffer spiritual depletion. In the end, this disease caused by love will bring about death. Can you control dying and living all on your own? Human beings cannot do this alone. Controlling life and death is not something human beings do. Then what do human beings have to take responsibility for? It is the responsibility to cherish relationships with one another. Even little kids know that we become miserable if relationships are bad. Look at how a baby cries when separated from their mother. Only the mother can resolve that baby’s problem. Babies can never be happy without their mother. The laws of love decided by Heaven are not something human beings can decide on their own. In the end, if our relationship with God, the Parent, is close, then all problems can be resolved. However, if you commit an unlawful act of love, God cannot take responsibility. We must let people know for sure that we cannot be disharmonious.
Now is the Age to Show God in the Family
1) The age of faith has already ended, and we are now living in the Era of Cheon Il Guk, the Completed Testament Age. The Era of Cheon Il Guk is the age of attendance, the age of hyojeong. It is no longer the age of believing in God unconditionally.
2) Attendance and hyojeong starts when the husband and wife in the family become one. Now is the age when we show God living and working in the family.
3) Now is such an age when the husband and wife become one and show the substantial God through their lives. It is the age when family peace and world peace start in the family.
4) In the present age, True Parents have shown to us everything that God has to show. Now, it is no longer the age to look up to the invisible God. That time has passed. That’s why we are extremely grateful to our True Parents. True Parents came to the earth and explained to us who God is, what is God’s love and the purpose of his creation, what is the human fall, how to live a model, exemplary life and so forth. They showed us what God is like, substantially. That is why when we unite with True Parents, everything will be clear and understandable. That’s why the Messiah is so important, to show us everything. Why we need to marry, does God exist or not, if God is really living, what kind of character he has to express. Our True Parents show us everything as a model of how to live.
5) To realize peace in the family, the husband and wife must be harmonious. Even if secular people do not know God or the Principle, everyone knows very well and agrees with each other that the couple must be harmonious.
6) If the couple is disharmonious, suffering will come instantly, and the entire family will go down the path of ruin.
7) Even secular people all know that selfish individualism will lead to disintegration, and if the husband and wife are in discord, their family becomes miserable. And they know the truth that if the family is harmonious, all goes well. The only problem is that they do not put this into practice.
8) People who have lived in the age of faith until now have thought that if they just unconditionally believed in Jesus, everything will be resolved. But is that reality? Rather, aren’t there even greater problems in Christian families? Can you imagine? More than 50% of Christian minister couples are divorced. There are serious issues in the Church. Even in Korea now, I see in the news of Christian minister’s problems. It is very serious.
9) The greatest problems of the world today are family problems. In particular, problems between husband and wife and between parents and children cannot be but the most serious problems. Family values have completely come to a collapse. When we establish the clear value of the family, then everything can settle down.
10) If blessed families of the Unification movement just showed models of the family, the world would be bound to follow. Now is the age when no one will follow if we do not show a model life and substantial results. We know very clearly about God, True Parents, Divine Principle. We have received the Blessing. Unification Principle is amazing, perfect, really great. Why do people not follow? We need to show the result, show the faith, show the model life, show the substantial result. The Divine Principle is really true; True Parents are really the model for humankind. As a Blessed family, show the result, the model. This is the issue now.
11) God’s sorrow ultimately formed into han in the family. And conflicts in human history arose because God and human beings were not in harmony and human beings were not in harmony with each other. So, the movement to liberate the family is the movement that liberates God. We have everything, there is only one thing remaining. We need to become the model. Model husband, model wife, model family, model children, as filial sons and daughters. If we truly show the model, then we can really show the truth. Divine Principle is eternal truth. True Parents are the Messiah, saviors, the second coming, for all mankind. We can testify to that, but if we do not show the model, no one will follow. This is our homework and task.
12) That is why our blessed families, who know this principle very well, need to move to spread this principle of harmony and the Blessing to our surroundings and neighbors. We cannot just proclaim the Principle and claim that they need to receive the Blessing. We need to show the model. Even to the second generation. Why is the second generation having so many problems? Because as the first generation, we do not show the model. How to love God, how to love True Parents, how to love all mankind, how to forgive our enemy. Then all children will absolutely follow.
13) The world is gradually drifting towards the fallen world. We need to know that many people are spiritually thirsting for the truth. They need it any way they can get it. For example, they get all kinds of information from the internet, YouTube, etc. Beautiful knowledge and theory. However, they cannot get any vision of a model life. That is the issue.
14) If we find discordant families and teach them how to be harmonious and show them the model of an ideal family, we become the saviors of those families. We need to find secular families and take on the roles of ambassadors of love and ambassadors of peace. They will say how we saved their family, we saved their husband, we saved their wife, we saved their children. Our Unification Church can show that kind of model. Teach them how to heal each other. How to cure that kind of sickness of love. This is very powerful.
15) From now on, when we witness, we first need to try to help people with the matters they need and worry about the most. We must try to help them mainly with family values and problems of harmony, such as their couple relationship, parent-child relationship, siblings’ relationship, etc.
16) Rather than asking whether they believe in God or not or what their purpose of life is right from the start, if we just grasp what their greatest problem is and help them resolve it, they are bound to take interest in us. That’s why we need to become saviors. How? First of all we need focus on what is their main problem? What do they need? To help their needs, then we become saviors. That’s why when we witness to that guy, that girl, what is their main problem, what do they need now? That is a savior. They are hungry, we need to give them food. Relationship problems? We need to help them heal each other. Between parents and children, etc. Find their needs. We do not need to find out right from the beginning whether they believe in God or not. To become their savior, we need to find out what is their main issue, their greatest need? Find them and serve them. Search for them. If they are hungry give them food, thirsty give them water. Relationship problems, show them the model. That is the mission of the savior.
17) We need to let them know how not to have conflict between husband and wife but to live harmoniously. Interpersonal relationships will improve and become peaceful if we just don’t conflict with each other. In the family, if each person serves each other with the heart of living for the sake of each other, they will find peace.
18) If our relationships are just harmonious, there is no way that suffering can come. Now is really different from the past ages. This is because God has paid all indemnity and pioneered an amazing age through True Parents; and furthermore, if we try to put it into practice, we can really feel the spirit world working.
19) Even doctors cannot cure diseases of discord that arise from human relationships. Can a doctor cure diseases caused by wrongful love? Diseases caused by failing to give and receive love amicably can only be cured by love. In the end, diseases caused by love will bring about death. Lets’ become saviors. Those who are really searching for truth, teach them Divine Principle. Those who are hungry, give them food. Those who are really struggling because of relationships, we need to help them how to improve, become Parents in front of them, become their older brother, younger brother to help them. We really need to know their needs. How can we know their needs? Have the heart of a parent. Really want to help them. When you have love and that kind of caring, you know that person needs something. When a parent sees their child needs to drink milk, needs food, needs to rest, they immediately know. When we have the heart of a parent, we intuitively understand the object partner’s situation. When you have love, have heart, you understand that other person’s situation. In order to become saviors, we need to know their needs, focus on their needs, then we can become Messiahs like True Father and True Mother. It is the time to show, not just only talk about a theory.
