God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful Ideal World I - April 8, 2023

In this Era after the Coming of Heaven on the foundation of True Parents total indemnity and the liberation of God, humanity can only survive by practicing the peace philosophy of true love, true life and true lineage that True Parents teach.
Now our good ancestors and the heavenly hosts are sweeping down upon the earth to move countries and peoples “that appear strong and mighty” to change course and shift in this direction.
As True Parents gain strength in accordance with heavenly fortune, we are called to lead in establishing true families, societies and nations, and a true world.

In the physical world governed by Satan, material things, money, and external desires have become God for us.
When we restore our vertical relationship with God, we will be able to feel our neighbor’s pain, avoid hurting others and automatically restore our horizontal relationships.
Heaven is a world centered on God where only true love, true lineage, true life, and mutual benefit and truth exist.
We should live a lifestyle centered on the Family Pledge which is the absolute and unchanging constitution and standard for our family and the key to solving all family problems.
We should not simply recite the Family Pledge formally but make it our creed with the heart of filial piety, absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience to God, and with the desire to completely liberate the sorrowful heart of God.
Then God and the spirit world will take responsibility for us and our family and guide us.
Our burden becomes light when we think of God’s heavy cross.
We should become owners of Cheon Il Guk on behalf of heaven, feeling individually responsible for our family, our church, and our field.
We should also live for the sake of others and establish a heartistic relationship with everyone.
As responsible owners if we live a life of true love attending God, True Parents and others, heavenly fortune will always be with us and our family.

Today I’d like to talk about “God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful Ideal World I” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.

Ladies and gentlemen, humanity is traveling down a dead-end street. The only way to survive is to practice the peace philosophy of true love, true life and true lineage that I am teaching. Now that we have entered the Age After the Coming of Heaven, your good ancestors are mobilized, and the heavenly hosts are sweeping down upon the earth. Soon the countries and peoples that appear strong and mighty will change course and shift in this direction. I leave you with a choice. There can be no perfection in ignorance. The message from Heaven that I convey to you today is both a blessing and a warning to this generation.
Reverend Moon and I will take the lead in establishing true families, true societies, true nations and a true world. Will you join with us in this work as we rise and gain strength to bring this new age in accordance with heavenly fortune? Or will you remain captive behind the same old barriers, all of them Satan's handiwork, that make a wall out of your religion, a wall out of your culture, a wall out of your nationality and a wall out of your race, and spend the remainder of your time on earth in agony and regret? Heaven is summoning you to be the wise leaders who will set aright this world of evil and establish a new heaven and new earth.
Now humankind (has) passed (through) the Era before the Coming of Heaven and is entering the Era after the Coming of Heaven based on the foundation in which True Parents paid total indemnity through the 8 stages and the foundation of liberating God. Now Humanity is traveling down a dead-end street. The only way to survive is to practice the peace philosophy of true love, true life and true lineage that True Parents are teaching.
Now our good ancestors are mobilized, and the heavenly hosts are sweeping down upon the earth. Soon the countries and peoples that appear strong and mighty will change course and shift in this direction.
The time has come for us to become leaders in establishing true families, true societies, true nations, and true worlds on this earth, joining with True Parents, who are rising and gaining strength in accordance with heavenly fortune.
Now, our church members must believe in the heavenly fortune of True Parents' victorious fortune and bravely push forward. We must know that this is such an amazing time when there is nothing to fear anymore.
We need to have absolute faith in our True Parents’ victorious foundation. They have already paid the whole price. We need to believe in True Parents’ victorious foundation. When we believe in it and inherit it, we need to bravely push forward. It is this kind of time.
That is why I have a really strong determination to educate our ambassadors for peace, uniting with the different affiliated organizations in our movement. I really want to carry on this kind of activity and educate our John the Baptists, our ambassadors for peace. We need to let them not only participate in our events but understand our Divine Principle very clearly and know our True Parents’ identity. I would like to have a plan to continually educate them.
Our True Mother said we need to raise up 30,000 members. In order to do that we need to restore our environment which (involves) raising our ambassadors for peace. That is why our goal is to raise ambassadors for peace from ACLC, YCLC, UPF, WFWP, NGOs and ethnic groups. Let’s have a strong determination to do this. If they become our John the Baptists, then their foundation will belong to us and we can definitely increase our membership.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: Chapter 3 Eschatology 3 - The Completion of God’s Purpose of Creation and the Human Fall
• Due to the Fall, human beings united with Satan and became his dwelling places, acquiring an evil nature.
• People with evil nature have propagated evil through their children, constituting evil families, evil societies and an evil world.
• This is the hell on earth in which we have been living.
The world we live in now is hell on earth. Do you feel that the place where you live is hell?
According to True Father's words, those who once experienced the world of heaven realize that the world we are living in is the hell of hells. I see that these words are spoken about the world of our hearts rather than the external environment in which humans live. He also said that the Kingdom of Heaven prepared by God is a beautiful world that humans cannot begin to imagine.
How beautiful the Kingdom of Heaven is! We don’t really experience that.
• In this hell, we cannot properly form cooperative horizontal relationships with one another because our vertical relationships with God have been severed.
• We perform deeds harmful to others because we cannot feel the pain and suffering of our neighbors as our own.
• Once people have accustomed themselves to living in hell on earth, when they end their physical life, they naturally enter hell in the spirit world.
• We have not built the Kingdom of God, but instead established the sovereignty of Satan.
• For this reason, Satan is called the "ruler of this world" (John 12:31) and the "god of this world" (II Cor. 4:4).
The world of Satan's sovereignty is a world in which the physical body becomes the subject. That is why it is a world where material and physical desires are the main subjects.
Therefore, since this is the world in which Satan has become the ruler, people always follow what the physical body likes. In other words, we will be governed by the world in which we think material things, money, and external desires are God.
This is Dr. Sang Hun Lee’s testimony from the spiritual world.
The Human Fall and Hell on Earth
The world we are living in now is Hell on earth. Do you feel that? The reason why you can’t feel that is because there is no standard to make a comparison between Hell and Heaven, since you have never felt how beautiful and precious the Kingdom of Heaven is which God prepared for us.
God has prepared the Kingdom of Heaven for human beings, but no one is living there. How sorrowful Heavenly Parent’s heart is.
The characteristics of people in hell based on the EDP:
1. Their vertical relationship with God is broken. It means they don’t know about God.
2. They can’t make horizontal relationships. They have problems with human relationships.
Anyone whose vertical relationship with God is cut off has problems in human relationships.
> Therefore, if they recover their vertical relationship with God, their relationships with people will be automatically restored.
How (can we) resolve (issues) in the relationships among brothers and sisters and between husband and wife when they have conflict. Here is the answer: if they recover their vertical relationship with God, their relationships with people will be automatically restored.
Many people do not know this main point. As long as we have a good relationship with God, we can resolve any horizontal problem. The problems in human relationships come from where? We need to know the cause. We need to recover our vertical relationship with God. We need to love him and have an inseparable relationship with him. To the extent we love God, we can love anyone. ... “My wife is not so good. My wife is not so good. My children are not so good. What can I do?” Just thinking about using human methods does not work at all. First of all, in order to make good relationships with our children and our spouse, we need to reflect on our relationship with Heavenly God. We need to solve the problem fundamentally. If we recover our relationship with God, this is the key. Then we can treat our spouse and children as God. That is why we can solve any horizontal problem centering on our vertical relationship with God.
The character of people in hell:
3. They can’t feel the pain of their neighbors as their own.
If someone is suffering in Africa or India or in the Ukraine where many people are dying, there my pain is. We cannot feel our spouse’s or our parents’ problem as our own problem. This is the character of a person in hell.
4. They commit acts of hurting their neighbors without hesitation.
Even though we may hurt someone, we cannot feel any guilty feeling: “Oh, my goodness!”
So, what is the Kingdom of Heaven? According to Father’s word, “The Kingdom of Heaven is a large organic body.” What does this mean? If we become a person of the Kingdom of Heaven, when we see the pain of our neighbor, we feel it as our own. We cannot harm our neighbor at all because the Kingdom of Heaven is a large organic body.
When we have pain in some part of our body, our whole body and nerves go to that part immediately, right? The Kingdom of Heaven is something like that. (People share) the same heart and same situation and same wishes. Anyone who enters the Kingdom of Heaven cannot commit sin because we are one organic body.
Can we feel God’s pain? Or not? If we cannot feel it, we are not (part of) his organic body. Can we feel the pain of all humankind? Can we feel True Parents’ pain? Can we feel our children’s pain? Our own pain? If not, then we do not know the meaning of the Kingdom of Heaven. It is one large organic body. It does not (miss?) even one person’s pain. People cooperate together and help each other to solve each other’s (issues). Wow! The Kingdom of Heaven is such a beautiful world! Everybody has the same kind of feeling. That’s why Father says the Kingdom of Heaven is a large organic body.
Hell is different. (In hell) they hurt each other without hesitation and without guilt.
Let’s read the Bible:
1 John 3:14-18
14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15 Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him. 16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
“Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.”
One of the characteristics of fallen human beings is their inability to love one another. In a Satan-centered world, only hatred, jealousy, murder, complaints, and self-centeredness exist. Therefore, there is no eternal life.
The Bible says if we do not love someone, we are a murderer. Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer. No murderer has eternal life residing in him
On the other hand, Heaven is a world centered on God, where only true love, true lineage, true life, and mutual benefit and truth exist.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: The Family Pledge is the Absolute Standard Set by God
This is based on Father’s word and content from Rev. Yo Han Lee.
A Lifestyle Centered on the Family Pledge
1. What does the Family Pledge emphasize? “Armed with True Parents’ words, live for the will.” “Have a way of living with the Word.” That is what the Family Pledge emphasizes. Our Family Pledge is the absolute and unchanging constitution of our family. And the Family Pledge is the key to solving all problems in your family. Therefore, if you do not practice the Family Pledge, you will lose the way to heaven. All of you recite the Family Pledge, but you do not have a lifestyle centered on it. It goes beyond mere formal recitation. In Christianity, the Lord's Prayer is always recited. However, it is done as a ritual, and their responsibility does not follow. We also do the Family Pledge as a ceremony every morning or every time we hold an event, but our lives do not change at all. That is why the Family Pledge will have nothing to do with your life.
If you Live Making the Family Pledge your Creed, the Spirit World Will Interfere with you
2. If you live by practicing the Family Pledge as your creed, the spirit world will take responsibility for you and guide you. If you live and practice the Family Pledge as the creed of your life, the spirit world will not only work with you in your life, but also decide whether you do well or not. So, you always have to reflect on whether you are under the good dominion of the spirit world or whether you are the object of concern for the spirit world. In this way, the spirit world sees you from two perspectives. If you do not know whether the spirit world is encouraging you or worrying about you, you are living a life that has nothing to do with the Family Pledge. If you realize the contents of the Family Pledge right away and struggle to live according to the contents of the Family Pledge, God will take responsibility and raise you. If you live according to the words of the Family Pledge with absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience, then God cannot help but take responsibility for you.
The Family Pledge is the Absolute Standard set by God
3. My life must be one where I deny myself and be a life from God. This is because I, who have fallen nature, cannot be set as an absolute standard. Therefore, if you live with the heart of filial piety, absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience to God, and the desire to completely liberate the sorrowful heart of God, God is bound to be with you absolutely.
True Parents have already set absolute standards for us through the Family Pledge. But if you ignore it and live your own way, God will be saddened. The problem is that even though they recite the Family Pledge, they do it formally and only as a ceremony without a serious mindset and will to practice it.
The Family Pledge and the Life of Ownership
4. The next thing the Family Pledge emphasizes is to become the owner of Cheon Il Guk. As the owner of Cheon Il Guk, you must take responsibility for your family, your church, and your field. But we don't have a sense of ownership.
Regardless of the sense of ownership, you just work obligatorily and habitually like the people of the secular world. Whatever we do, if we don't do it with the owner's consciousness, we become spectators. Spectators are not responsible. Spectators are irresponsible for what they are supposed to be responsible for. This is the age in which each person becomes the owner, so it is not an age where anyone interferes with what is happening. Therefore, each person must take responsibility with a sense of ownership in whatever work he or she does from the position of the owner. What responsibility do you have as the owner of the church you attend? Or are you just a spectator going home after attending a service? When someone asks you what are you responsible for, can you confidently answer?
The Family Pledge and A Life Living for the Sake of Others
5.The second thing the Family Pledge emphasizes is to live for the sake of others. For whom do you live? You have to live for the existence that made created you. Who has blessed me? If the relationship between Heavenly Parent and True Parents is severed, the meaning of your existence will be lost. God's law of life that made you exist is to live for the sake of others.
Therefore, if we practice the principle of living for the sake of others, we will establish a heartistic relationship with anyone. If we have a philosophy of living for the sake of others like True Parents, God will surely take care of our families. If we try to take responsibility for our own family regardless of God, without exception, there will be a limit.
To Become a Family Protected by Heavenly Fortune...
6. God must protect our families. In other words, we must ensure that our family is protected by heavenly fortune. Then what can you do? It's very simple. You just need to have the attitude of being an owner on behalf of Heaven and a view of living for the sake of others.
When you and I have such a life of living for the sake of others, you will automatically find your original homeland (nature). In other words, as the owner of Cheon Il Guk, if you live a life centered on true love and serving True Parents, heavenly fortune will always be with you. The reason why God gave Eve the word 'Do not eat' is that if you keep that word, in a word, God and Eve will have an absolute relationship as eternal parent and child.

Live a Lifestyle Centered on the Family Pledge
Whenever we recite the Family Pledge, let’s not just do it formally. We need to think (about it) often every day: Family Pledge #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8. We need to meditate on it, what it means, how it relates to our lifestyle. This kind of reflection is very important. The Family Pledge is like the essence of the Divine Principle and the 620 volumes of True Father’s words. We need to meditate on it and think about what it means again and again.
Let’s summarize:
1. The Family Pledge is the absolute and unchanging constitution of our family. And the Family Pledge is the key to solving all problems in our family.
When we really understand the Family Pledge, (we realize) it is the key to solve all problems: absolute faith, love and obedience. These three words are so powerful. We can solve any problem (with them): True Parents issue, this and that.
2. We should live with a lifestyle centered on the Family Pledge. If we do not practice the Family Pledge, we will lose our way to heaven.
We always need to think about the Family Pledge. It is a very important heavenly constitution.
3. When we recite the Family Vow, we must not do it formally like how Christians memorize the Lord's Prayer.
We can easily become a hypocrite if we only recite it like a ceremony. Without investing our heart and mind in it, it does not make any sense. That is why sometimes I really struggle. Whenever I say the Family Pledge, I really need to put in my heart, my emotions. I don’t want to do it formally, externally.
4. As long as we just recite the Family Pledge as a ritual, our lives will not change at all. Therefore, the Family Pledge will have nothing to do with our own lives.
Whatever we do, if we do not put our heart into it and do it ritually, conditionally, reciting the pledge externally, our heart will never change. When can we change our heart and mind? When we put in our utmost sincerity and heart. Our heart is so sensitive. Whenever we do anything externally, conditionally, habitually, we become a hypocrite.
How can we liberate ourself from that situation? We need to put our jeongseong into it. Even when we do small things, when we recite Family Pledge or relate to people, we need to put in our utmost sincerity. When we do a bow, even just one time, we need to (invest) our whole heart. We should not do it centering on numbers. Even if we do it only one time, we should put in our whole heart: “Heavenly God, I really respect you. I really love you. I really want to inherit your heart. How can I become a person of true love, of true life and true blood lineage?” God only sees our utmost attitude and heart. That is why when we recite Family Pledge, we always need to think about how we can put our heart (into it).
5. If we live by living the Family Pledge as our creed, the spirit world takes responsibility for us and guides us, not only interfering in our life, but also determining whether we do well or not.
Let’s say, even one pledge #8, “absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience:” ... No matter what we absolutely believe in God, we absolutely love True Parents, we want to really obey True Parents. If we have that kind of heart (with) Family Pledge as our creed, then the spiritual world will be responsible for everything because we have the right attitude.
If we have the right attitude, then God will intervene; if we have the wrong attitude, then Satan will intervene. That is why if we have the right mindset, God will do everything.
6. If we have absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience in order to live according to the words of the Family Pledge, then God cannot help but take responsibility for our family.
7. If we live with the heart of filial piety, absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience to God, and the desire to completely liberate the sorrowful heart of God, God is bound to be with us absolutely.
Even though we are fallen men, even though sometimes it is difficult to carry our own cross, in order to be liberated from our own cross, we should think about God’s heavy cross. Then our cross is very light, like nothing. Therefore, on purpose in order to be liberated from our own cross, we need to think about God’s heavy cross. This is the way to be liberated. When we really try to console him and comfort him and understand his suffering, our suffering, our difficulty ... are nothing. Our mind and heart are very strange, right? We need to follow the law of our nature.
8. True Parents have already set absolute standards for us through the Family Pledge. But if we ignore it and live our own way, God will be sad.
9.The Family Pledge emphasizes that we all become owners of Cheon Il Guk. As the owner of Cheon Il Guk, we must take responsibility for our family, our church, and our field.
We should not just (follow) one leader, our Abel, the continental director, the national leader – “I just follow.” It is not like that. Now is the era of ownership. Everybody needs to take ownership. As the owner of Cheon Il Guk we need to be responsible for our family, our society, our church issues, our nation’s issues and world issues. In the end we need to even be responsible for God’s problems, God’s han, God’s sorrow. We cannot simply rely on and follow somebody. Everyone has to become the owner of Cheon Il Guk.
10. The Family Pledge puts great emphasis on the sense of ownership. People without a sense of ownership become spectators because they formally, habitually, and conditionally do what is assigned to them.
When I study Father’s word, he really hates anyone doing something formally, habitually, conditionally. He says(?), “You are a hypocrite!” Jesus really cursed(?) the Jewish: “You are hypocrites because you do not (invest) your heart. You only pretend: ‘Look at me. I am doing something.’” Jesus and True Father really hated these kinds of things.
Without putting our heart and sincerity (into something), it becomes formal, habitual, conditional and (we become a) hypocrite. We need to understand this point.
11. Since the era of the owners of Cheon Il Guk is an era in which each person becomes the owner, it is not an era in which anyone interferes with what is happening. Therefore, each person must take responsibility with a sense of ownership no matter what he or she does from the position of the owner.
12. The second thing the Family Pledge emphasizes is to live for the sake of others. For whom do we live? We have to live for the existence that created us.
Whoever created us has a purpose, a dream and wishes for us. That is why we were born centering on his wishes. We need to fulfill his wishes, not our own wishes. We are the resultant being. We could not create ourself by ourself. We were born because of God, because he is the creator; he created us, (so) he has wishes, he has a purpose (for us), he has a vision. Then we need to unite with his vision and his will, not our own will. That is why we should not do(?) anything centered on our own desires. We need to ask, “Heavenly Father, what should I do? What is your vision and plan for me?” We need to ask.
13. If we practice the principle of living for the sake of others, we will establish a heartistic relationship with anyone. If we have a philosophy of living for the sake of others as True Parents do, God will surely take care of our families.
This is my experience. One who lives for the sake of others, who follows the philosophy of God and True Parents, I am telling you guaranteed, his relationships with everyone will go very smoothly. Nothing is impossible. This is the power of living for the sake of others.
14. If we try to take responsibility for our own family regardless of God, without exception, there will be a limit. God must protect our family.
We absolutely rely on God because we are resultant beings.
15. In other words, we must make sure that our family is protected by heavenly fortune. Therefore, always have an attitude of being the owner on behalf of Heaven and of living for the sake of others.
16.As the owner of Cheon Il Guk, if we live a life centered on true love and on serving True Parents, heavenly fortune will always be with us.
Last time I spoke about the importance of the Family Pledge. Today I emphasized living a lifestyle centered on the Family Pledge.♦
