(Response to sharing) It does not matter how old you are. Transformation can happen at any time. When Jesus passed away, the right-hand thief really repented and recognized (who Jesus was) within one or two hours and had a complete transformation experience with Jesus. Then he entered paradise with Jesus. Time didn’t matter. What mattered was his total repentance. Secondly was that he recognized Jesus and his own identity (as a thief).
It does not matter how old you are or how long ago you joined the church. You can have a complete transformation experience within a few hours.♦
Today I’d like to talk about “Tell People About True Parents” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 1.
That is why True Parents had to rise up from the very bottom. Through that, they liberated God and opened the door to Cheon Il Guk in 2013. Centering on True Parents, we have to move forward as one body. All of our existing institutions must be aligned under one system. It is time to move forward as one tribe with True Parents at the center. My dream is your dream. Until your life's last breath, you must absolutely realize this goal with True Mother! That is the hope of Heaven. The world's seven billion people must know True Parents while they are on earth. I have to show you the way that we must go. (2016.10.06, YongPyong Resort)
Heaven and humanity have sought after a world of peace, a world without wars and hunger, a world of freedom, but history to this point has been unable to achieve this goal. Father led the history of the providence of restoration through indemnity to victory. However, the truth is that behind it all was too much sorrow, grief and suffering to measure. That is how it is with indemnity. Father recovered and established everything for us, but the fact of the matter is that we are not in a position where we can just receive it. If we fail to fulfill our responsibility, we too need to pay indemnity. In the past 46 years the world population of three billion has become seven billion, and it is the wish of our Heavenly Parent and our wish, as well as a responsibility to be fulfilled in our lifetimes, to make sure that no one in the world, not even those living in the far corners of the world, remains ignorant of the Heavenly Parent. Titles like filial son or daughter and loyal patriot cannot be given when you are comfortable.
Unless you have endured much suffering and difficulty and risked your lives for your parents, devoted all your energies for your country, unless you have such a heart and have translated it into action, you cannot receive such titles.
This moment in time, never seen in history and never to be seen again, is truly the most blessed and happiest time in your life, but if you fail to fulfill your responsibility, it will become the most wretched moment. Why? Because the seven billion people of the world to whom you have failed to witness will accuse you. They will say, “Why did you receive the Blessing and not tell us about it?” When those living in the farthest reaches of the world join our church, learn about the providence and come to know that the long awaited Lord at his Second Coming, the Messiah, the Savior, came to earth and lived in the same era that they did, breathing the same air, yet they did not have one chance to see him before he passed away, they will deplore this fact forever. You have to understand that the blessed families have a great responsibility and that they may have to pay much more indemnity for that. (2013.02.10, Cheon Jeong Gung)
True Mother said, "While True Parents are on Earth, 7.8 billion mankind should know True Parents.
True Mother also said that if we cannot fully convey who True Parents are to people around us, the country and humankind will accuse us when they go to the spirit world.
This is also well noted in Family Pledge number 6. Let's take a look at Family Pledge number 6.
Family Pledge 6
Our family, the owner of Cheon Il Guk, pledges to become a family that moves heavenly fortune by embodying the Heavenly Parent and True Parents, and to perfect a family that conveys Heaven's blessing to our community, by centering on true love.
Whenever I recite Family Pledge, I am inspired by each number of the Family Pledge, especially Number 6. It talks about “moving heavenly fortune.” One of the important missions as a blessed family is how to move heavenly fortune. Secondly, our main mission is how to convey heaven’s blessing to our community. We have a great mission.
First of all, what we need to know is that all of us blessed families are owners of Cheon Il Guk. I should be responsible as an owner to expand Cheon Il Guk.
This is not the era of the servant, nor is it the era of the adopted son. Now is the era of the owner centered on filial sons and daughters who attend and directly follow True Parents.
A filial son and a filial daughter are people who are always in charge of everything in the family with the spirit of ownership on behalf of their parents.
Second, we need to be families that move heavenly fortune. God's heavenly fortunes always comes to a family united attending God and True Parents. What's your family like? Have you become a family where God's heavenly fortune comes?

Have we become a family where God resides and works through us? The era to simply proclaim about True Parents has passed. We must know that now is the time for blessed families to show our family to those around us.
In order to convey heavenly fortune, in order to convey God’s blessing to our community, it is not enough simply to proclaim True Parents as the messiah. In order to move heavenly fortune and convey heavenly blessing to our community, we need to show an exemplary life. “When I see this blessed family, I want to join the Unification Church. I do not know God; I do not know True Parents, but when I see your family, I feel heavenly fortune is there. I feel God’s ideal family should be like that.” It is time to show an exemplary life. The era of declaration and belief is already over. Now it is time to show that God is in our family. That is why we say our family is “the owner of Cheon Il Guk.”
Being the owner of Cheon Il Guk is a very serious responsibility. That is why True Mother let all humankind know the identity of True Parents. How? Declaring the Divine Principle is limited. What is the best way to testify? Of course, there are many ways such as the Internet and social media. But the real way for us to show people that God is alive is through our exemplary life. This is very important.
Third, the Family Pledge mentions that we must become families who convey Heaven’s blessing to our surroundings. Our responsibility and mission is to convey the blessing which is the root of true life, true love and true lineage to the community.
You should not just declare to all the people that the True Parents have come, but also connect them with True Parents’ Blessing.
Everyone should be guided to drink the holy wine and complete the 43 day condition. And we need to encourage them to connect Heaven’s blessing to their surroundings through the Online Holy Community and guide them in detail.
Why did Heaven give us people to meet and create connections with? … Why does Heavenly Father send many people to me?
It is to connect Heavenly Parent and True Parents to the people through the Blessing.
The Blessing is the Key. Our main mission is how to move heavenly fortune in our family.
If heavenly fortune is moving within my family, we can testify that God is alive, we can testify to True Parents, and finally based on that foundation, we can convey heaven’s blessings to our community.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: Principle of Creation 9 - Life of Give and Take Action
• Through the agency of universal prime energy, the subject and object elements of every entity form a common base and enter into interaction. This interaction, in turn, generates all the forces the entity needs for existence, multiplication, and action.
• The interaction generating these forces through this process is called give and take action.
Based on this EDP content, let’s study Father’s word in detail.
Be Ashamed Even After Giving and Grateful when Receiving
<35-285> Centered on whom do you have to give and take? We must give and take centered on God. We must give and take public, not private things. If you gave someone one item centered on God, will the God who loves you want to give you only that item or will He want to give even more, reaching the point where His heart hurts and feels ashamed even after giving? This is the problem. Parents do not boast after giving but on the other hand are ashamed for not having given more.
We can only get this kind of guidance from True Father. No one else can express this.
Whom should you center give and take action on? Center on Satan or God? You should have give and take with God as the center.
Even though God is invisible, we should have give and take with Him as if He is visible and substantial centering on our original mind.
The great thing about True Parents is that they live attending the invisible God as if He is a visible God. That is really a great point.
One day Father asked, “Do you know who God is?” He was talking about True Mother. He referred to a dark mark on her body. He said, “I know God better than that.” Who is God? I know God in more detail than (I know that mark).” Why is Father so great? He describes so well not only God’s external form, but his internal character, heart and intellect and will power. He discovered God’s sorrowful heart.
Even though we cannot see (God), what is True Father’s great point? He really attends the invisible God as if he were visible God. Everyone has vague ideas about God. Not clear. We only understand some part. But True Father understands God’s entire situation, externally and internally, heartistically, visibly and invisibly.
The next is that they have a parental heart that always gives, but they always think they are lacking and are embarrassed. Parents do not brag while giving, but are rather embarrassed while giving.
They always feel ashamed. “That is not enough. I need to give something better.” (They have) that kind of sorry mind, shameful mind. What is the world of the parents’ heart?
Not only the hearts of parents, but also the hearts of filial sons and daughters are such that they always give to parents feeling sorry and ashamed. If you think you've given enough and just feel proud and happy about it, it's hard to deepen your relationship with the object.
Fallen man, when he gives something, feels very proud of it and happy.
When you give something to your children, to others, always feel ashamed, (feeling that it is) not enough, that it is lacking something. “How can I give more?” God’s heart is so beautiful! The heart of parents is so beautiful! Isn’t it?
The world of heart is an infinite world. It is important to know that it is the heart of parents and the heart of true love that thinks it is insufficient even after giving indefinitely.
I completely surrender to Father’s word: What the real meaning of giving and receiving is.
<35-285>Unable to dress well like others, parents give to their children and feel ashamed and resentful for not being able to give more. We have to feel the heart of the parent who cries when seeing their own child cry. This is a public thing. A son born from such a parent will become an excellent son. That son was born for the public and must give and take for the world. The people who feel ashamed even after giving and feel grateful and indebted when receiving are the people who live a life of gratitude. You must know that it is through such people that a new history will open and Heaven will be established.
(If they are) unable to dress (their children) well as others can, parents feel ashamed and sorry for not being able to give more to their children even if they want to.
Parents should feel that they have a parent’s heart of crying on their own when they see their son cry.
True Father said that a person who always lives with an attitude that he feels ashamed even when he gives and is ashamed and grateful and doesn't know what to do when he receives is a person who lives a life of gratitude.
Through these people, a new history develops and life in heaven begins.
<35-285> Everyone has to shed tears and be grateful for the situation you are in. You must be grateful to God who has given me things I could not even dream of, despite my overwhelming shortcomings. People who feel ashamed when receiving can also feel ashamed when giving, and people with such a mindset will never perish. Look for yourself and see if they perish. You must know such people indisputably live a life of gratitude.
Until the time I get here, I have to thank Heaven with tears, thinking about how hard Heaven has worked for us. We should thank God for giving us things we could not even imagine, despite our overwhelming shortcomings.
People who feel ashamed when receiving can also feel ashamed when giving, and people with such a mindset will never perish.
Because you feel that what you gave was lacking, the next time you give something, you try to give something better. When we feel ashamed and sorry for someone giving to a lacking person like ourselves, we also develop a heart that we feel we are always lacking when we give to others.
That is the heart of the parent. He has the attitude of always feeling lacking. “It is not enough. I want to give more.” That’s why whenever he gives something, he forgets because he feels it is not enough, it is lacking. I really surrender to True Father because of his explanation of the Divine Principle, of the world of heart.
All of this can only be felt in the world of heart.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: A Life that Relieves God’s Bitter Heart
1. The reason why there is no reconciliation between our members today is because each of us were not able to have the life of the Word.
If the word is alive in your heart, … the power to survive. This is the power of the word. Nothing is impossible for me when the word of God is alive in my heart. This is the point. When the word is alive in my heart, I can overcome anything because God’s word is so powerful. I can overcome any kind of fallen nature; I can overcome any kind of enemy relationship. This is the power of God’s word. You need to ask whether God’s word is alive in your heart or not. Why can’t I change even though I joined the church ten or twenty years ago? Because God’s word is not yet alive in my heart. I listened and forgot and did not practice. Or I (received the) word conditionally, habitually, traditionally. That is our problem.
If one side had the life of the Word, it would tolerate and have mercy and compassion towards the other. However, since both sides are equally insisting on their own position, it is like blind men bumping against each other. However, there can only be reconciliation between those who have the life of the Word. Then discord will never happen.
God created human beings through his word. His word is life to me. It is his love to me. God’s word is his life and love. Why can’t I change my life, my habitual life, my fallen nature? Because God’s word has not become my life, does not work in my life. Because I receive(?) God’s word in different ways -- conditionally, habitually, traditionally, externally -- and became a hypocrite. This is the power of God’s word.
2. We can guess that the reason Jesus could not rebuke the groups who persecuted him was because they were only called the chosen people, but actually, they were dead people who did not have the life of the Word. Similarly, it is easy for us to look like we believe in the Word, but it is difficult to have the life of the Word. God’s first bitter heart -- we call it “han” -- is the pain of human beings not accepting the Word heartistically.
If I really accept God’s word heartistically, then God’s word is alive. It becomes my life and changes my entire life.
(God had a bitter heart when they) only (accept his word) as a mere formality.
It became a bitter heart when God would tell human beings to “sacrifice the lamb,” “remember the sabbath day,” and “tithe,” they did not act sincerely but did everything as a mere formality.
That is a problem. God said, “Please sacrifice a lamb,” but they did it conditionally. They did not do it with their sincerity and heart.
When I put my utmost sincerity and heart (into something), God accepts my heart. Why can’t God accept my offering? Because I am doing something conditionally, habitually and not putting my heart into it. We need to know that God is a God of heart and sincerity. If I do not invest my sincerity and heart, God cannot (accept?) it.
When we offer a tithe, we really cry, “Heavenly Mother, I am supposed to offer not only ten percent of my income. I need to offer my soul, my heart, my mind, my everything, my entire body. I am so sorry to offer this little tiny offering to you. Please forgive me. If we have that kind of heart and sincerity with a kind of ashamed feeling, God will never resent that guy. God is working through heart. God can only accept an offering of heart.
3. In putting the Word into practice, because we do it as a mere formality instead of putting our sincere heart into it, we cannot find life through the Word. If I long for the Word with my heart and keep it with all sincerity, I can surely resurrect my life.
If you put your utmost sincerity, your heart into whatever you do, Father said it is guaranteed that you can surely resurrect your life.
In keeping the Word, if I put in sincerity and offer devotion, the Word will definitely resurrect me. However, since fallen human beings do everything externally and as a mere formality, they cannot hear God’s voice and they cannot resurrect themselves, so this became God’s bitter heart.
4. Many people come to church for worship. However, without me genuinely opening the door of my heart, being touched by the Word, and my sincerity and heart of trying to change, God cannot deal with me. How many people really hear the Word, receive heartistic stimulation, and find themselves in the Word? Even looking at the past history of the providence of restoration, how many people really found God? When I am hungry, I know that I have to eat three meals a day, but there is no one that has met God because there is no one that deeply longed for the Word with an impatient, thirsty heart in order to stimulate their hearts. We should know that since God is the God of sincerity and faithfulness, if there is no sincerity and faithfulness in whatever I do, there is no way for God to find me.
Why can’t I feel God? Why can’t I find God? Why can’t I hear God’s voice? Because I did not invest my complete sincerity. (What I did was) only external, sometimes very habitual, sometimes hypocritical.
God only accepts the offering of heart.
The offering of heart means investing my utmost sincerity. Only utmost sincerity moves heaven.
5. Therefore, it can be concluded that the issue of how to relieve God's deep bitter heart and sorrow and return joy is solved by resurrecting my heart through the Word.
How can I resurrect and revive my heart? Through God’s word. My attitude is important. Attitude is everything. If I have the wrong attitude, I cannot deal with God.
When Jesus came to this earth, he had no choice but to be frustrated because although he carried God’s resentment and acted as a man of God, the so-called protectors of the commandments persecuted Jesus as blasphemous and false.
6. A person who kept his sincerity through all commandments would have practiced religious rituals with all their sincerity and devotion through the Word. Those who truly followed the religious rituals with all their hearts and souls would have recognized who Jesus was and respected Him as soon as they saw Him. Only people with a heart can recognize people with a heart. Only people resurrected through the Word can recognize people resurrected through the Word. When people who have the heart of the Word or living hearts see people who practice lawlessness, they feel sympathy and say “how pitiful!” and when they see true people, their infinite respect for them arises. Today, in order to become this kind of person, we must constantly try to live with the life of the Word and heart of the Word. The moment we become like this is when God’s bitter heart will begin to be relieved.
Why did all Jesus' disciples not recognize Jesus? The issue was heart and sincerity. If you are a really sincere guy, you know who is a sincere guy. You know immediately. Why can’t I recognize someone whom God has sent to me? How can I recognize and know he was prepared by God? If I am sincere, then I can see God; I can recognize who is an evil guy, who is a good guy, who is a chosen guy, who is not a chosen guy. Sincerity is real. Sincerity is like a light. (With it) you can conquer darkness.
7. Therefore, the word of God must come into my mind and become life and heart. Otherwise, we easily become a hypocrite. If the Word of God is alive in me, I can see God and recognize the person whom God sent me. Then when will God's han be released? The Han of God is when the Word of God dwells in me. So we should always pray, every day we need to pray, “Heavenly God, let your word come into me and become life. Let the life of your word to repel any wave of death.” You need to pray like that.
After we joined the church, some left the church early, some gave up on the way; what is the main reason (for this)? God’s word did not become life in their hearts. It really needs to become the life in my heart. We cannot deny True Parents. We cannot deny God exists. Why? God lives(?), God’s love.
When you attend Morning Devotion, how do you deal with God’s word? How do you prepare your heart? It is up to your preparation, your heart. Then God can change your life. You can have a transformation experience through God’s word. How can we change the world? Not by weapons, not by power, not by position. Through the world of God’s word. God’s word … becomes my life line. How can we avoid becoming hypocrites? The word should be alive in my heart.♦
