We can gain the Victory of Love as individuals by longing for Cain from the heart, as blessed couples through longing for our spouse from the heart and becoming one in love, and as parents through longing for our children from the heart.
This longing from the heart of subject and object becomes the resurrection of the heart, which is the Victory of Love.
A couple of the victory of love is a couple whose hearts have been resurrected. They long for each other like a spring that always flows from a rock.
When a couple becomes one through longing, a fountain of love is formed.
You must strike down your own fallen nature with the rod of the Word and keep striking it until the spring of the heart comes out.
When you really unite with your spouse, longing for each other, that is the best moment to create babies.

A couple of the victory of love automatically becomes the owner of all things and material fortune follows. They automatically acquire the qualification to be the master of all things.

Every morning I am so grateful to see each (of our) brothers and sisters’ faces. We are really one family under God. (It is) so beautiful, a beautiful culture, beautiful community every morning. Thank you for participating in Morning Devotion without missing a single day!
Yesterday, we had Sunday Service at Clifton Church in New Jersey. We had time to share with a few family members. (They gave) testimonies about the special Family Reunion Service last week. It was a really beautiful and moving time. They shared very deep experiences.
I gave a sermon based on my testimony for last Sunday’s Family Reunion Service and shared our vision of having a “Youth Reunion Service.” We have decided to do it. We want to approach second generation and third generation. Whether they attend church or not does not matter. We really want to approach everybody without exception. We will have a beautiful youth reunion worship service very soon.
The Heavenly USA team shared about their witnessing activity centering on Clifton church, and they offered a very beautiful song. I was so excited to meet each one of the Heavenly USA team. They are so beautiful and powerful! They are really children of God!
Then, we had a lunch meeting with ministry team leaders. They prepared very beautiful sashimi. I enjoyed it so much. Thank you, ... everybody.
Then, after lunch we had a special meeting with witnessing group members again, and we were all determined to move forward centering on our vision and goal. I heard their beautiful testimony, and (we discussed) how we could organize the Youth Reunion Service and how we can breakthrough in witnessing. We shared many things. I really love our Clifton Church members. All of them are concentrating on witnessing. Their heart and jeongseong are there. I am so grateful to each of our members who are involved in witnessing on the front line all the time.
Today I’d like to talk about “World Peace and the Role of Women 3” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.
<This speech was given at the founding rally of the Women's Federation for World Peace in Japan and at rallies between September 24 and October 6, 1992 for Koreans residing in Japan> We have a particularly urgent need for the moral education of our young people. In this regard, I was surprised to hear that many Japanese people responded positively to the recent series of rallies upholding the spirit of Yu Gwansun. Certainly Yu Gwan-sun, who is known as the Joan of Arc of Asia, is a most appropriate role model for instilling patriotism in young people. What surprised and moved me, though, was the progressive and broad-minded attitude of the Japanese people in their search to transcend the historically unpleasant relations between Korea and Japan and open a new avenue of understanding.
I would like to ask the women of Japan, in particular, to take your stand at the forefront of the effort to resolve the serious issues in our world related to the family. You possess the most admirable tradition of women in the world because, through your country's long history, you have protected your families and nation in a spirit of love and sacrifice. Also, I know that you women were the hidden force behind your country's recovery after the total destruction of World War II. You enabled Japan to become one of the strongest economic powers in the world. You need to take the foremost position in our movement, because the virtues of sacrifice and service that you have cherished through your tradition now must be applied on the worldwide level in the form of true love and perpetual giving for all of humankind.
True Parents said that the women of Japan, in particular, should take their stand at the forefront of the effort to resolve the serious issues in our world related to the family. They possess the most admirable tradition of women in the world because, through their country's long history, they have protected their families and nation in a spirit of love and sacrifice.
True Father also said that those women were the hidden force behind their country's recovery after the total destruction of World War II and enabled Japan to become one of the strongest economic powers in the world.
True Parents emphasized that Japanese women need to take the foremost position in our movement, because the virtues of sacrifice and service for their country and people must be applied on the worldwide level in the form of true love and perpetual giving for all of humankind.
The reason Japanese women have shown such a model of love for their country and people even under various difficult circumstances is because they knew in advance that Japan would one day be established providentially as a mother nation.
I really appreciate Father. True Parents appointed Japan as the mother nation and Korea as the father nation. Between Adam and Eve an enemy relationship (developed), so we need to recover (this relationship) and restore it.
If the relationship between Korea and Japan is good and they become one and create unity, that is the key point. Through unity in the husband and wife relationship, they can raise the children really well.
I appreciate that Father appointed Japan as the mother nation. They sent out so many leaders, members and missionaries all over the world! Without Japanese members’ sacrifice, we would not have much of a world foundation. Once again I appreciate deeply from the bottom of my heart our Japanese church’s and members’ incredible dedication and devotion for the sake of God’s will.
From this perspective, True Parents said that God brought up Japan that way because He knew that Japan was a country that should one day play a central role in becoming one with True Parents and creating a world of peace.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: The Fall - 2. The Tree of Life (1)
• According to the Bible, the hope of fallen people is to attain the tree of life. In Prov. 13:12, the Israelites of the Old Testament Age looked to the tree of life as their hope. Likewise, in Rev. 22:14, the hope of all Christians has been to approach and partake of the tree of life.
• However, in Gen. 3:24, it is written that when Adam fell, God blocked his path to the tree of life by stationing the cherubim with a flaming sword to guard it. From this, we can also deduce that the hope of Adam before the fall was the tree of life.
• Adam was cast out of the Garden of Eden without having attained his hope, the tree of life. For fallen people ever since, the tree of life has remained a hope unfulfilled.
Let’s study Father’s word.
The Way to Partake in the Tree of Life (2)
<72-142> So when there is the Second coming of the substantial Jesus, a seed who becomes the seed of substance must be born again through a new mother, father and a new bride and bridegroom. Only through this, a victorious son and daughter who gained both the physical and spiritual victory after having paid all the indemnities from the original blood lineage of Satan can appear. Therefore it’s theoretical that God must prolong the providence of restoration until the Second coming of Jesus. Do you understand? –Yes. We should be able to abandon our country or whatsoever and come forward from now on to meet the Second coming of Jesus for he has such a value in him. The time has finally come for you to be able to abandon your country, next your tribe, your own parents, your wife and everything in order to come forward.
That is why in the Bible Jesus said, “You need to love me more than anyone else, more than your own family, more than your nation, more than anything else.” First of all, you need to meet the messiah, right?
Rev. Moon is a Tree of Life
<104-243> The trees are all the trees of Rev. Moon in the Unification movement. Rev. Moon is the representative. (applause). So what is that tree? It is the one ideal tree, that is called the tree of life in the Garden of Eden. So if there is a tree of life, it must be planted to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Moreover the tree of life needs the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For what? Not to receive love but to give love. It gives love. As the love is true, all the love around between parents and brothers or sisters can be perfectly united with each other without any breakage.
Because True Father is the tree of life that appeared on this earth for the first time in 6,000 years, he said that we must be able to welcome True Parents. Even if we give up everything, we should be able to welcome True Parents.
This is because True Father appears with true love, true life, and true lineage as the substantial tree of true life. He said that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is necessary for the tree of life, because it must be planted with the tree of life.
In order to be born again through True Parents, who come as the substantial tree of life and the tree of good and evil, fallen humans must first of all have a heart of longing for them and go through the process of being reborn and resurrected through the Blessing.
Among fallen human beings who are reborn through True Parents’ Blessing, all men must become a true tree of life and all women must become a true tree of goodness, so that true life, love, and lineage can be propagated to their descendants.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: Become a Couple of the Victory of Love
The Phrase “Victory of Love” and A Couple of the Victory of Love
1. True Father's word for victory of love refers to victory in the spirit world and also on earth. The word victory originally comes from the noun Israel. “Victory of love” means that just as Jacob won, brothers and sisters were reconciled to each other, and praised by others and by God. A person who has won through love is a person who is praised by the spirit world. And on earth, it means that they have become husbands and wives who can be praised by each other. It means that a man and a woman become a married couple, and the husband longs for his wife and the wife longs for her husband. They then become one in love and have victory. It is a victory of love when longing comes from our hearts. This is what we call the resurrection of the heart. Couples who resurrect each other and are resurrected, and when the subject and object long for each other, are the couple whose hearts have been resurrected.
The phrase “victory of love” is the same as the word “Israel,” which means victory through love. It is a title that praises heaven, earth, the angelic world, and even the world of Satan.
In that sense, our faith course in a nutshell is that before starting the family, we must become a love-victor on an individual level, and after starting the family, we must become a couple of the victory of love, and further, become the parents of the victory of love.
Jacob fought the angel and won, and went further, embraced his older brother, who was the enemy, drew him in with love and won. We should not become love-victors only on our individual journey, but for the first time in human history, we should receive the Blessing as a married couple and enter the realm of perfection to become a couple who can be praised by each other.
A man and a woman should become a married couple in which the husband longs for his wife and the wife longs for her husband, and become one in love and have victory.
It is a victory of love when longing comes from our hearts. This is what we call the resurrection of the heart. Couples who resurrect each other and are resurrected, and when the subject and object long for each other, are the couple whose hearts have been resurrected.
If there is no longing for each other, the couple is not yet a resurrected couple. Do you really long for your spouse? For your wife? For your husband? True Father said that the couples without a longing heart are those who do not yet know the taste of resurrection. That is why couples must ... love so that longing can rise and they can feel the warmth(?) of the resurrected heart.
Are you a resurrected couple? A resurrected couple always has a feeling of longing for each other, and resurrected individuals always miss God and True Parents and people. Wow! This is really judgment, right? Do you have that kind of longing heart? One who has had a resurrected experience automatically longs for God, for True Parents, for people.
Who is a resurrected couple? What kind of phenomena appear? They always have a longing heart for their spouse. “I truly long for my wife!” “I truly long for my husband!” (That is) not just part of the time. If you have that kind of longing heart all the time, then your couple has already reached a different standard. Your couple is really a resurrected couple heartistically. How about you? You truly need to reflect on that. “Is my couple really a resurrected couple?”
(Even though) we (may have) joined the church a long time ago, if we do not have this kind of experience of a longing heart, that means our standard has not yet reached a certain standard yet.
Those who are not yet married, second generation and young people, need to think about this. This is the process for your couple to be(come) a resurrected couple. If your couple becomes a resurrected couple, automatically (certain) phenomena appear. What kind of phenomena appear? We have a longing heart for our spouse.
Wonjin! Hanmi! Do you experience each other like that? As a second generation couple, do you really have that kind of longing for each other? This is a very important point.
Being a Couple of the Victory of Love is the Greatest Happiness
2. Couples whose hearts have been resurrected feel longing for each other like a spring flowing from a rock. Just as Moses struck a rock and water came out, when a couple becomes one through longing, a fountain of love is formed. Today, as we are fallen descendants, we have become people who have no love and are as cold as stones. Fallen human beings are just people who are jealous, resentful, and complaining, like hard stones. They are like stones, but by obeying the Word and taking the rod and striking with faith, a fountain of love springs up. “Jesus is the rock” means that each of us today is Jesus. Because each individual is the substance of the Word, each individual is the rock of the Word. If a couple feels longing for each other spring up and love springs up like a spring without thirst, then they are a couple of the victory of love. This is the greatest happiness.
A couple of the victory of love is a couple whose hearts have been resurrected, and they long for each other like a spring that always flows from a rock. True Father said that couples who do not develop longing between them are those who have not yet fully resurrected their hearts.
Today, couples of fallen descendants are always fighting, complaining, lacking Shimjeong, and have hearts hardened like stones. You have to strike with the rod of faith that absolutely believes in the Word on a heart hard as a stone. It is our faith course that we should be stimulated by the power of the Word and let the fountain of love spring up.
“Jesus is the rock” means that each of us today is Jesus. In fact, if you look closer, it means that we are all the substance of the Word. You must strike down your own fallen nature with the rod of the Word. You have to keep striking it until the spring of the heart comes out.
(You need to) continuously hit and hit (your fallen nature) until the spring of the heart comes out. That is why God’s word is very powerful and important. Until the spring of the heart comes out, you need to strike your stone heart. Fallen man is like that. You need to listen to Gods word all the time. You need to have stimulation from God’s word and practice it until the spring of the heart comes out.
If a couple feels longing for each other (that) springs up and (their) love springs up like a spring without thirst, they are a couple of the victory of love. This is the greatest happiness.
When Do We Feel Satisfaction?
3. True Parents said that when a couple united through love and longing gives birth to sons and daughters, those children will be better than their parents. And they said that is the greatest happiness. A couple longs for each other and they are happy, but wouldn’t they be happier if they had sons and daughters who were better than them? When do we feel satisfaction? When a married couple has a track record of being the subject and object of longing, it is the happiest thing for them to have sons and daughters they can be proud of. When these standards are met, you automatically become the owner of all things and material fortune follows. God's fortune resides there. After a couple becomes the master of love for each other, they automatically acquire the qualification to be the master of all things.
When husband and wife long for each other, this is the best way to have a good-quality child. When you really unite with your spouse and automatically have a longing heart for your spouse, love each other, that is the best moment and time period to create babies actually. With a longing heart for each other, a different quality of child comes out, (a child with) a better quality of love than (that of) the parents.
If the Subject and Object Do Not Have a Longing Relationship, They Will Wander
4. People living in the fallen world are immature in love. Most people with a lot of money have complex issues with the opposite gender. In that sense, wouldn't it be better to be poor than to have no love? This is because if you have money, you will have more trouble in your family. Wouldn't it be better for a poor couple to live while giving and receiving even a little love and affection? If the husband goes out at dawn to clean, wouldn't it be bliss for his wife to help with the cleaning as well as combing his hair? Although they don't have any great wealth externally, they are happy because there is love and heart. Like any old couple, it is happiness when the couple gives and receives with each other, such as when the husband pulls a handcart in front of his wife, and she pushes it from behind. But we see that families with a lot of money are more unhappy. We see resentment between husband and wife. If we can't find the subject or object of our longing, we keep wandering, and strangely, we try to find happiness and satisfaction in external things.
A parent’s wish is to bear and raise children who are better than they are. Then what should we do? A married couple should become a couple of the victory of love and become one through love and longing. True Parents said that sons and daughters who are better than their parents will appear.
When do we feel satisfaction? When a married couple has a track record of being the subject and object of longing, it is the happiest thing for them to have sons and daughters they can be proud of.
When you become a couple of the victory of love, you automatically become the owner of all things and material fortune follows. God's fortune resides there. After a couple becomes the master of love for each other, they automatically acquire the qualification to be the master of all things.
Where there is harmony between husband and wife, longing for each other, creating beautiful harmony and unity, Father said that heavenly fortune automatically comes down. This is the key point. Where there is harmony, God has no choice but to bless that family. What is the best way to get material fortune from heaven? Creating unity, becoming harmonious, loving each other, longing for each other. Then money fortune will follow that couple.
In the world, we see that there is resentment between husband and wife because they cannot become a loving couple. When a couple cannot become the subject or object of longing for each other, they keep wandering, and strangely, they try to find happiness and satisfaction in external things.
That is a problem.
Every day should be a day of Victory over Love. That is why we should become individuals who win through love, brothers and sisters who win through love, couples who win through love, parents who win through love and family that win through love. Beautiful! When Father proclaimed the Day of the Victory of Love. We need to proclaim it individually, centering on the couple and family. Every day should be a day of victory over love. How can we do that as an individual, as a couple, as a family. This is our task.
