• Treating yourself as God's will dispel all negative thinking. You will become a positive person with confidence that God is with you no matter what hardships come.

• The reason for positive thinking is that we belong to God. Without him such thinking has no value.

• Think of the present moment as eternity.

• In order to become a truly victorious person, you must always work with gratitude and enthusiasm.

• Because God is with you, you become bold and confident in every action you take.

• When you go to a church or a mosque, you need to be a true Christian or Muslim. You need to inherit everything from them. Think, “God and True Parents are here.”

Today I’d like to talk about “Women Will Play a Leading Role in the Ideal World” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.

<This speech was given at Women's Federation for World Peace rallies held between June 10 and June 30, 1992 in 40 cities, counties and districts throughout Korea> Chapter 19 of the Book of Revelation records that Jesus at the Second Advent will come to earth and hold the Marriage Supper of the Lamb to celebrate his wedding. This signifies restoring the position of the true husband and wife and True Parents that Adam and Eve would have fulfilled if they had formed a family without falling. Dear WFWP members and friends who are attending this rally! The question we face today is how we can guide this society, in which all kinds of sexual crimes, immorality and corruption that threaten to destroy our families are rampant. If we cannot resolve the problem of unprincipled sexual relations, human society will bring destruction upon itself. We can already see the beginnings of that. A natural consequence of the disorder of sexual morality, about which Heaven has warned humankind, is the often fatal disease known as AIDS, among other sexually transmitted diseases.

Jesus said he would return in the Last Days of this sinful world. Jesus at the Second Advent will come as the True Father of humanity and show us the path of the true children, true couples and true parents, which all men and women in the world need to follow. Only then can the fundamental problems of all humankind—fornication and sexual corruption that originated from original sin—finally be resolved. This is truly the ultimate Gospel that will save humanity from this world of sinfulness. It is the mission of the Messiah and Savior to teach humanity the way to bring an end to the history of sin, which became twisted when humanity lost the path of the true parents, true couple and true children. I declare today before the entire world that my husband, the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, is the man who has pioneered this path of the Messiah and the True Parents throughout his entire life. My husband continued to pioneer the future of humanity by revealing God's purpose of creation and exposing the original sin committed by our first ancestors, even while he was subjected to the ruthless persecution and oppression of the evil world.

The question we face today is how we can guide this society, in which all kinds of sexual crimes, immorality and corruption that threaten to destroy our families are rampant. 

The answer is when Jesus at the Second Advent comes as the True Father of humanity and shows us the path of the true children, true couples and true parents, which all men and women in the world need to follow. 

Therefore, True Parents, who came as the Messiah, cannot resolve the fundamental problems of all humankind—fornication and sexual corruption that originated from original sin—without directly showing them the path of true children, true brothers and sisters, true couples, and true parents. That is why True Parents are trying to achieve God's ideal through blessed families.

God and True Parents established blessed families as an alternative and countermeasure to fundamentally solve the problems of fornication and sexual corruption, the original sin of humankind.

God and True Parents offered blessed families as an alternative to solving all problems. From that point of view, we do not know how heavy the responsibility of our blessed families is.

We must reflect once more: are you all really the solution to the problems of this world? Are we blessed families really an alternative to setting an example for the people of this world? 

From now on, when our own individuals, families, and churches become alternative solutions to all problems, the actual Kingdom of Heaven on earth will begin. Therefore, we must know that the kingdom of heaven must grow within us individually, that the kingdom of heaven must grow within our families, and that the age of the kingdom of heaven has come to grow in our church.

How can we solve all the problems, especially sexual crimes and social problems, all kinds of problems? What is the solution? Number one, God is the only solution and alternative and countermeasure. This is the fundamental solution. We need to go back to God’s bosom. (This is formation stage.)

Secondly, the growth stage, our True Parents are the solution, the alternative and countermeasure to solve all problems, fornication, sexual corruption and the original sin of humankind.

What is the completion stage to solve all problems? What is God’s fundamental solution? God is invisible; True Parents, we can say, are visible God. Even though God and True Parents are great, without the substantial establishment of the ideal family, it does not make any sense. What is the solution and countermeasure to solve all problems? Our blessed families, you and I. We are the alternative and countermeasure to solve all the problems of fornication and sexual corruption. 

So, the formation stage is God. The growth stage is our True Parents. And the third stage is what? Our blessed families. We are the ones who should be the solution, God’s and True Parents’ solution. That is why our portion of responsibility is important. 

God always solves his problems centered on three stages. Wow! Of course, there are many issues (in order) to settle our blessed families. This is an incredible transition time period. All the issues are coming out: second and third generation issues. But this is a really great turning point. There are all kinds of sacrifices and  cases of sacrifice, but no matter what, we need to settle (them). 

Father said if one blessed family absolutely follows True Parents’ tradition and unites with True Parents, the Unification Movement will never collapse. Then there is no more need for the messiah to come. This is the era of the Fourth Adam, number four. How important it is. We are the ones who should be the solution for all the problems: fornication, sexual corruption and the original sin of humankind. 

True Parents will be gone some day. Who will solve the problems? We are the ones! This is a very important point. We have to be a model. The Kingdom of Heaven has to grow within ourself, in our family and our church. Otherwise, how can we establish God’s Kingdom of Heaven substantially? 

LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: The Principle of Creation 66 – The Human Heart as Viewed through the Spiritual and Physical Minds

• The relationship between the spirit mind and the physical mind is like that between internal nature and external form. When they become one through give and take action with God as their center, they form a united functioning entity which guides the spirit self and physical self to become harmonious and progress toward the purpose of creation. This united entity is the mind of a human being.

• The conscience is that faculty of the human mind which, by virtue of its inborn nature, always directs us toward what we think is good. 

• However, as the standard of goodness in fallen human beings varies, the standard of their conscience also fluctuates; this causes frequent contention even among those who advocate a conscientious life.

• The original mind is that faculty of the human mind which pursues absolute goodness. The original mind relates to the conscience as internal nature to external form. 

• A person's conscience directs him to pursue goodness according to the standard he has set up in ignorance, even though it may differ from the original standard. However, the original mind repels this faulty standard and works to correct the conscience.

• As long as our spirit mind and physical mind are under the bondage of Satan, the functioning entity they form through their give and take action is called the evil mind. The evil mind continually drives people to do evil. 

• Our original mind and conscience direct us to repel the evil mind. They guide us in desperate efforts to reject evil desires and cling to goodness by breaking our ties with Satan and turning to face God. 

Based on this content let’s study Father’s word.

The Original Mind is Drawn towards the Center

<23-98> Even within the family, everyone desires to become closer to the central leader. The children all flock towards the parents. This is why, when it seems as though the parents love the older brother more, the younger brother will sulk jealously and say, “My parents only think about my brother!” What does this mean? The original heart is drawn towards the center, whether that center lies with the parents or the children. That is human nature. 

Human nature tries to get close to the central leader, without exception. Because God is the center of the universe, everyone tries to get closer to God. On earth, since True Parents are the center, there is a genuine desire to get closer to True Parents. 

Since human nature wants to get closer to the central leader, we should always try to get closer to them. Therefore, Abel, who plays the central role of the members, must be a good mediator so that all members can draw closer to God and True Parents. 

In the family, you should try to get closer to your grandparents, your parents and in the world of faith, you should try to get closer to Abel. This is the way to cultivate the original mind.

That is why relationships are very important. You need to have good friends, good neighbors, and a good Abel. If you relate with bad friends – especially teenagers are really influenced when you enter the university and learn from professors and associate with some other brothers and sisters – our teenagers are easily influenced by that. When you associate with someone, you need to find a really good Abel-type person. Otherwise you are easily influenced. That is a real issue. 

Our original nature wants to be close to the central figure. In your family, who is the central figure? Your relationship with your parents is very crucial. In school you need to have a good teacher, good professor and good brothers and sisters. In church no matter what, you need a close relationship with your Abel. Our original nature always tries to get closer to the central leader. Then our life becomes better and better. Everything is relationship.

The Base of (Basis for?) Peace

<23-125> So how does the omniscient and omnipotent God plan to bring about the world of peace? Where can you find the base of God’s peace? It is not in America, the Soviet Union or in any one country. It is found within the original mind of man. I am telling you that you must cast away everything else and return to the standard of your original mind. Come back to me. This is why Jesus said, “The kingdom of heaven is within me.” If we cannot liberate the goodness within our hearts, we cannot bring about the ideal world of happiness. 

Where should we find a base for peace according to Father?

First, there is a base of peace where the mind and body are united centered on the original heart. Therefore, you must live your life centered on your original heart thoroughly. There is no base for our peace unless the battle between individual bodies and minds ends. 

Second, there is a base of peace where marital unification takes place. Married couples must become one with God. Therefore, the base of peace must start with the peace of an individual who is united in body and mind, and achieve family peace, tribal peace, national peace, and world peace. 

That’s why (you should) create unity between mind and body first. Then secondly you need to create unity between husband and wife. That is everything. You know how to create unity between mind and body. That becomes the base for peace. The second level is the most difficult one. We should create unity between husband and wife, man and woman. That is the base for peace. Father is talking to us here about fundamental things.

TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: Who Becomes A Victor?

1. When you don't know who you really are, you criticize yourself this way and that way and treat yourself recklessly with a sense of inferiority. However, after knowing God and having a relationship with Him, no matter what kind of disrespect or criticism you receive, you should treat yourself as God's without thinking that you are alone. That’s because you are Heaven’s. Therefore, even if you receive condemnation and persecution, it is not you who receives it. You have to think that you are suffering with God. If you treat yourself as God's in this way, you will come to know God more deeply. Considering the principle of the restoration of indemnity, who is your victor? He is a person who, even though he is persecuted and is in adversity, thinks that this is not what he is going through, but what Heaven is going through. As Jesus died on the cross, he had the heart of “because of the will of God, He is responsible for the disbelief of all, and through my own death all people will be set free.”

Faith is treating oneself as God's. If you do not treat yourself as God's belonging, you will become human-centered and easily criticize others and feel inferior. 

One thing I will tell you – (this is) my confession. Since I met Yo Han Lee, one thing I learned from his great teaching was: he told us all the time what faith means. Faith means “treating myself as God’s belonging,” treating myself as God’s body, God’s mind, God’s son or daughter. When I meditate on these words again and again (I realize that) when I was young I had a life-changing experience. This sounds very simple, but it is very important. 

How (can I) deny myself? What does self-denial mean? Self-denial means treating myself as God’s belonging, God’s body, God’s mind, as God’s child. If we really believe in that – not just believe, really we treat ourself like that, I am telling you, without exception everybody can have a life-changing experience. That is faith. Why do we have so much difficulty? Because we treat ourselves as our own. This is the issue. 

However, if you treat yourself as God's belong, no matter what kind of disrespect or persecution you receive, you will not think you are alone and you will treat yourself as God's.

If you treat yourself as God's, you can win in everything because you walk and think with God in any situation. Jesus always thought of himself as God's. That is why he was able to confidently go to the place of the cross. 

As Jesus died on the cross, he had the heart of “because of the will of God, He is responsible for the disbelief of all, and through my own death all people will be set free.”

There is no different idea or concept between Jesus and God. (They have) the same concept, the same vision, the same situation because Jesus really treated himself (as God’s). His body was God’s body. His mind was God’s mind.

I repeat this again and again because it is very important. What does faith mean? Faith is treating oneself as God’s, as God’s belonging. 

You Must Have a Good Mindset and be Sincere in What you do

2. You also need to have a good way of thinking about every moment as you spend your day. It's about who you think you are. And once you think well, you have to be diligent about what you can do. Otherwise, if you keep thinking in leaps and bounds or worrying uselessly, you become more and more false. Think of the present as eternity and be true to reality. You have to be faithful, thinking of a moment as if it were an eternity. And when dealing with people, always honor and respect others, serve them well according to their standard, and follow them, so there is no mental burden. The same goes for your studies or lifestyle. You must relate to each other and be sincere to each other. If you are very conceited yourself, take the lead alone and try to control the other person to do this and that, they will point you out. Even if you are experienced and know everything well, you should always discuss with your juniors.

We must have a good mindset at every moment. A good mindset is always knowing, thinking, and acting as belonging to God. Treating myself as God's will dispel all negative thinking. What impossibility is there for one who acts with God? 

Treat yourself as God’s belonging. “I am God. My mind is God’s mind. My thinking is God’s thinking.” True Mother said, “Father’s thought is my thought. My thought is God’s thought.” Why don’t you appy the same thing. “God’s thought is my thought. My thought is God’s thought.” 

If we really treat ourself as God’s belonging, wow! What impossibility is there for one who acts with God?

If you treat yourself as God's, you will become a positive person with confidence that God is with you no matter what hardships come. “Nothing is impossible because I belong to God. His wish is my wish. His thought is my thought.” Treat yourself as God’s belonging. Then what is impossible? Everything is possible. 

If you treat yourself (in this way), what kind of outcome comes out? Nothing is impossible. You are always very positive. You have no negative concept because “I am God’s. His thought is my thought. His wish is my wish.” I treat myself as God’s belonging. Why say, “It is difficult. It is impossible. I cannot love that guy”? Because you treat yourself as your own self. That is not faith. Faith means to treat yourself as God’s belonging. Then nothing is impossible. You are very positive.

However, the dangerous thing is that it is easy to flow away and become a humanistic being if you unconditionally have a positive mindset without God. 

Outside people teach us, “You need to always have a positive mindset and positive thinking.” Positive. Positive. Positive. But if there is no God, you will surely give up on the way – because there is no God. Why do we need to have positive thinking? Because I belong to God. I treat myself as God’s. Nothing is impossible. Without God you may say you have to have a positive concept and always be grateful. But without God, it does not make sense. 

So, you have to have a good way of thinking. It's about who you think you are. And once you think well, you have to be sincere about what you can do.

And if you keep thinking in leaps and bounds or worrying uselessly, you become more and more false. Think of the present moment as eternity and be true to the current reality. You have to live thinking of a moment as if it were an eternity. If you think of one moment as eternity and are faithful, a beautiful future will surely be promised. 

To Be A True Victor

3. In order to become a truly victorious person, you must always work with gratitude and enthusiasm. In order to be a victor of truth and sincerity every day, we need to focus on our original mind and not become false. You have to be sincere with yourself. We must not discriminate against others, not ignore others, and live a victorious life with a heart that always uplifts others and treats them respectfully. There are many times when we live a false life, but we do not realize it. We are insincere, but we are living in the illusion that we are sincere. Therefore, we need to know who we are by illuminating our original heart and conscience. There are many believers on this earth, but it is difficult to find true faith in this world. Also, when you look at your personal life, you have to think about how many gaps and leaps there are, how much you discriminated, and how you repeated becoming false depending on the circumstances in the past. From now on, we must become people who know ourselves a little more and truly grow ourselves to be sincere.

In order to become a truly victorious person, you must always work with gratitude and enthusiasm. Because you treat yourself as God's, everything is fun and exciting, and there is nothing to be afraid of. Because God is with you, you become bold and confident in every action you take. 

Our way of thinking is to think of ourselves as God's, and our actions must be sincere in our responsibilities. Do not discriminate against others, do not ignore others, always uplift and respect others and live each moment as if it were an eternity. 

There are many believers on this earth, but it is difficult to find true faith in this world. Also, when you look at your personal life, you have to think about how many gaps and leaps there are, how much you discriminated, and how you repeated becoming false depending on the circumstances in the past. 

That’s why we always need to be sincere.

Number one, you need to think, “I belong to God. Okay, if I belong to God, what kind of attitude should I have?” Completely throw away your own concept, own thinking, your own idea, your own plan because “I belong to God. His blueprint has to be my blueprint. His purpose has to be my purpose. His wish has to be my wish.” Wow! If you have that kind of mindset, you can be a victorious person wherever you go. That is very powerful.

Then with this kind of very powerful and positive mindset centering on God, secondly when you take action, invest your utmost sincerity, but not just utmost sincerity. You need to have passion to achieve your internal and external goal. You need not just sincerity but a passion in order to go forward. 

I repeat again. Who am I? I belong to God. If we carry on this concept of faith – treat myself as God’s belonging – wow! I am telling you, you can have a life-changing experience. 

Today, I spoke under the title “Who Becomes A Victor?”

When you have that kind of experience of baptism, you need to think that “God baptizes me; True Parents baptize me.” You need that kind of beautiful concept. Also, Jesus went that way. He did not need baptism, but he humbled (himself) down. 

I learn a lot from Father. He said, “When you see the tomb of the king, you need to bow down.” (You may say,) “Oh, I don’t want to worship (the king),” and struggle. But Father taught that “Why don’t you think that God’s body is in that tomb, True Parents’ and Jesus’ body are there. Then don’t treat that tomb as the tomb of the king, but think God’s body is buried there because he worked so hard for the sake of humanity that finally he died. Of course, God never dies, but you need to have that kind of mindset. That is not worshiping. 

That’s why when you go to the Muslim area, you need to be a true Muslim. You need to inherit everything from them. That’s why when you have this kind of experience of baptizing, think, “God is baptizing me. True Parents are baptizing me.” Just now you have (shared) a beautiful experience and explanation. That concept and attitude were really beautiful.♦
