Ep 440 - Tell People About True Parents Part 6

Tell People about True Parents #75 - January 8, 2022

PDF Text and Images

Today is the end of The 11th 40 day Morning Devotion Jeongseong Condition. Today is also the 440th day since we started Morning Devotion. I sincerely thank all of you for your great support and encouragement during this time.

Today I’d like to talk again about  “Tell people about True Parents” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 1.

Truly, our Heavenly Parent, who has worked until now for the providential history of restoration through indemnity, has been lonely. God, who has to be the omniscient and omnipotent king of kings, has been lonely. Why is that? Can there be a king without citizens? You must liberate your ancestors in the spirit world. True Father said to liberate 420 (430) generations of your ancestors. The spirit world has formed during the long, long period of 6,000 years since the Fall, as indicated in the Bible. Your ancestors there have no connection to God. They do not know God's Will.

Now that you have received the Blessing from True Parents, you must liberate and bless your ancestors and help them change into good spirits. You and all tribal messiahs must take on this responsibility today. Therefore, you must expand the environment of the spiritual world. This means that our Heavenly Parent's and True Parents' people must increase. By fulfilling your responsibility, you who are on earth will be able to carry out Father's providential work more enthusiastically around the world. Seven billion people do not know True Parents' or God's Will. We must open the way of life, the way of hope for them. (2015.05.30, International Peace Education Center, Las Vegas)

Our True Parents emphasize that we should hold the ancestor liberation and blessing ceremonies. Why should we do it? What is the purpose of liberating and blessing our ancestors? We already know that, but let’s remind ourselves again.

The Ceremony of Ancestor's Liberation and Blessing and Merit of the Age

1. We can receive more benefit and merit of the age (which) can be increased through the ceremony of ancestor's liberation and Blessing.

> Therefore, you should make your ancestors absolute spirits.

No one else has this liberation and blessing ceremony. It is incredible! All ancestors can participate in the liberation and blessing ceremonies. All of a sudden they can “jump up” to the kingdom of heaven. This is the meaning of the (ancestor) blessing.

When I worked closely with Heungmo nim when she came to Thailand and the Philippines, she really had a headache to “settle down” whenever we held ancestor liberation ceremonies because some of our ancestors have many wives, in some cases many husbands. They need to choose only one. That is why for their whole life they need to arrange for that: who can be their eternal spouse. Someone in the hell of hells; most of them are in hell; most of them are in a low level of the spiritual world. However, through the ancestor liberation and blessing ceremony, all of a sudden they can jump up to the completion stage. That is why our ancestors are dancing and singing and crying -- all kinds of things are happening over there.

Heungmo nim told me, “You do not know actually what is going on through the ancestor liberation and blessing ceremonies.”

So, we need to make our ancestors absolute spirits.

2. You can make a shortcut in your indemnity course through saving (Blessing) and liberating your evil ancestors.

Many ancestors are very evil, but through ancestor liberation and blessing ceremonies, everyone without exception can become absolute spirits.

3. Our ancestors can become citizens of Cheon il guk and participate in the Cheon il guk providence together. When we do heavenly tribal messiahship and liberate our ancestors and bless them, they all come down to help us fulfill our heavenly tribal messiahship.

4. Our ancestors can increase the merit through inheriting True Parents’ victorious foundation (heavenly tribal messiahship).

5. Our ancestors can receive the heavenly fortune of the era of Cheon il guk when they unite with True Mother on the earth as well.

That’s why this ancestor liberation is really important. In order to register in the Cheonbo Won, vertically you need to liberate your ancestors and they need to receive the blessing. Horizontally you need to do heavenly tribal messiahship centering on 430 couples. That is why True Mother again and again reminds us to liberate and bless our ancestors.

LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: Principle of Creation 9 - Life of Give and Take Action

Let’s read again the EDP content.

• Through the agency of universal prime energy, the subject and object elements of every entity form a common base and enter into interaction. This interaction, in turn, generates all the forces the entity needs for existence, multiplication, and action.

• The interaction generating these forces through this process is called give and take action.

Based on this EDP content about give-and-take action, let’s study Father’s word in detail.

Give with a Parental Heart

<39-195>God’s strategy is to have a small thing moved to a bigger thing. In order to move like this one must serve and sacrifice. The Unification Church’s principled doctrine emerges from here. With what kind of a heart must we give? Do not give with a friend’s heart. Additionally, do not give the way an owner gives to a servant. Give with a parental heart. Wear your servant’s body with a parental heart and you must stand in the position of shedding tears for humankind, sweating for the world, and bleeding for heaven. What this means is we have to have a heart to give and then shed tears for not being able to give more. That is how God is. Is there such a person today? When such a person appears, the world will automatically unite even if you tell it not to.

This is beautiful and powerful guidance.

True Father said that in order to multiply small blessings into big blessings, always sacrifice and serve and give, give and give again and again.

This is the way to increase the blessing; this is the way to multiply small blessings into big blessings. This is the formula; this is a universal principle.

TF said, “With what kind of a heart must we give? Do not give with a friend’s heart. Additionally, do not give the way an owner gives to a servant.”

That is not the proper way to give.

Give with a parental heart.

A parent's heart is always giving and giving and giving and forgets what he has given and then gives more.

When you give, your heart should be the heart of a parent, and your body should be the body of a servant to give.

Parents have the heart of parents, but work harder than any children. They are like servants. Parents are like servants in front of children, working very hard. That is why Father talks about “wearing the body of the servant.” Then they become very humble, even though their heart is at a very high level, parental heart. When you give, you need to be humble and kneel down and serve people wearing the servant’s body. I love True Parents’ philosophy: parental heart wearing a servant’s body.

What this means is, we have to have a heart to give and then shed tears for not being able to give more.

It is said that if anyone gives with this kind of parental heart and wears a servant's body, the world is automatically unified.

The universal principle is very simple, even if one does not know any Principle. They should know one thing: give first and serve first. As a husband, try to give and serve for the sake of the wife first. As a wife, try to give and try to serve first for the sake of the husband. As a parent, try to give, try to serve for the sake of the children; as children, try to give, try to serve for the sake of the parents first. As a prime minister, try to give and serve for the sake of the people first; people should think “My nation first” and try to give and serve for the sake of their nation first. Just using this simple principle, Father said, we can automatically unify, even though we don’t know much. Practice this simple principle: Give first centering on the parental heart and wearing the servant’s body. That’s it. Then you can meet God; you can feel God’s heart; you will know how to live and serve. It is a beautiful principle.

TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: The Han-Filled Heart of Jesus Who Dealt with the Last Supper

I would like to share (about something that is) very, very important and a little heavy and very internal, sorrowful content.

Recently I have talked about the families of central figures: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses. Recently I have been speaking about Jesus, our pillar. … I did not come from a Christian background. I learned (about Jesus) from Father. When I studied about Jesus’ course, especially from Yo Han Lee, about who Jesus was, I studied and read the Bible again and again, and I fell in love with Jesus. He is my father and lord, an amazing man. At the same time, he went through incredible suffering, incredible han, without tasting the ideal family, without the holy wedding. He just passed away. When I think about his situation, his suffering, his sorrowful heart, I often cry about him. How much do I understand his heart? How much do you understand Jesus’ heart as well? Let’s study more. I summarized his entire life. Please listen well.

1. When we saw that God brought on the flood judgment centered on Noah’s family, we can understand God’s will of judging human beings whom Satan deals with and (can) realize Heaven centered on earthly people who believed in only God.

That is why God really wants to establish only his own sovereignty, own nation and own world. He does not allow any evil sovereignty. Through Noah’s (flood) judgment, we know that.

Also, God once tried to accomplish this will centering on Moses, but He was doubted. Each time He set up a central figure of faith in the Providence of Restoration, the foundation laid down by the figure of faith was lost due to the faithlessness of the chosen people. Nevertheless, after thousands of years of great pain and hardships, God created the foundation to send the Messiah 2,000 years ago.

2. Since God's providence of restoration began, although Jesus had come as the Messiah for the first time in 4,000 years, he faced disbelief, betrayal, and persecution from the chosen people of that time and John the Baptist who had been prepared by Heaven. Jesus, who completely lost the foundation of such faith, inherited God’s will that had to be realized on this earth and tried to conclude the Providence of Restoration and realize a new heaven and new earth. However, due to the chosen people’s faithlessness and betrayal, Jesus could not remain on this earth any longer, so he prepared to become a sacrifice on the cross.

Even though he did not want to, he had no choice because the foundation was lost. He tried to get some kind of spiritual foundation which is spiritual salvation.

Now, there was no longer any time for Jesus to remain and he had to leave the earth anyway; through the Feast of the Passover, Jesus declared the coming urgent occasion of his passing.

3. The mission of Jesus, who came on behalf of heaven, was either separating the earthly people from Satan and restoring them to the realm of Heaven, or if they do not accept him, becoming a sacrifice before the faithless people. From this standpoint, Jesus had to find and build people who could believe in him as the Messiah. He first should have been protected by Zacharias’ family, and then, when that failed, he should have been protected by Joseph and Mary’s family. However, that also ended in failure, so  he left his family and looked for John the Baptist whom heaven had prepared. However, when even the prepared John the Baptist came to a position of disbelief …

In the beginning he testified “Jesus is the lord,” but later on he doubted. Can you imagine how John died miserably after he doubted? It was an incredibly sad story.

The local synagogue leaders and priests who followed John the Baptist also turned away from Jesus. Finally, through God’s direct signs and miracles, Jesus tried to find his 3 disciples and 12 disciples.

4. But even the disciples of Jesus could not become one in heart with Jesus. Although Jesus prayed earnestly all night for his final path -- very, very serious -- his disciples were not awake for even a moment and were dozing off. In such a situation, Jesus became the Lord with a lot of sorrow, a sorrowful heart and Han, who had to celebrate the Passover and share bread and wine while preaching words like his dying last will.

His disciples did not know what was going on.

If you are a fallen human, you can stop doing something when you get tired of doing it, but Jesus as the Messiah was in a position in which he could not give up the responsibility of restoration even if the world was not cooperating -- no matter what, he had to accomplish God’s will -- based on the mission of the messiah.

5.  In the position of losing the family and church and unable to enter the world, what Jesus declared while giving bread and wine to his disciples was the final declaration before he died that through his work, he resolved to become a sacrifice before the faithless crowd.

In the course of the restoration of Canaan, through 3 conditions of faith, Moses longed to establish the national restoration course of Canaan and make the people one. In order to let the people know that he was the one God set up, Moses showed believable evidence through signs and miracles or even the Ark of the covenant, but the Israelites repeatedly again and again and again became faithless.

We read the bible story.

6. Like Moses, Jesus, who came in the midst of fallen mankind who had repeated such faithlessness, had to show evidence that he was sent by heaven. If the providence had proceeded according to God's plan centering on Jesus' family, God’s providence would have progressed without external signs and miracles.

Signs and miracles are nothing. What matters is how to cultivate one’s heart, how to accept Jesus in our heart. That is the point. If they had accepted Jesus in their heart, why would he have had to show external signs and miracles. Fallen man is very, very external. If something happens through signs and miracles, they try to believe in that. Even during Moses' time, the spiritual level was very low. They only believed through external ways, external signs and miracles. People only externally believed in Jesus because of his signs and miracles. Nobody talked about Jesus’ heart.

However, Jesus, who was disbelieved by the church, had to go out directly and raise people from the dead, restore sight to the blind, and make the crippled rise in order to show that he was sent from Heaven. In particular, he tried to show many disciples centered on the 3 disciples, and he sent out seventy disciples across the nation and told them to experience whether or not Heaven will work with them.

7. Those who followed, saw with their eyes, experienced, and went out to witness also came to doubt Jesus, and eventually, when Jesus went to the cross, no one appeared to say that they would die in Jesus' place.

No one wanted to die on behalf of Jesus. No one wanted to die with him.

Try to imagine Jesus walking towards Golgotha, carrying the cross, taking responsibility for all that disbelief by himself. He had to be responsible. In the end, all those who were healed by Jesus were satisfied that their circumstances were resolved, and no one went beyond their own circumstances to help the Lord and participate in God's providence.

Those who experienced Jesus’ miracles and signs … (did not) follow Jesus and helped God’s providence. They cured their own sickness and were satisfied and happy and went back home. Nobody followed Jesus (or asked) “What is your situation? Who are you? You are really the messiah, the son of God, I need to participate in your providence. I am your son(?), your daughter, Jesus.” … Even though they were cured through Jesus’ miracles, no one appeared and followed Jesus.

There was no one who knew the circumstances of the Lord and tried to serve the Lord. Even the disciples asked what our Lord's desire was, what were his wishes and his worries, and no one thought of doing it for the Lord. Everyone only followed the Lord externally, thinking that he had come for them and he would continue to perform signs and miracles, and one day, he would destroy the world and become the king of kings.

This is because Jesus showed miracles. He was to destroy the evil sovereignty and become king of kings, then “I can become prime minister, I can become a minister, I can get some kind of job.” They did not know what Jesus' internal situation was. … (They) were very external; no one was heartistic.

8. In the text, it is said, “There are some among you who will seize me and sell me.”

Who was that? Judas Iscariot, one of the 12 disciples. This guy … sold Jesus. Can you imagine that one of Jesus’ disciples … (would do this)?

But when the disciples went up to Jerusalem, they were only arguing over who is greater among them. Jesus was preparing for the Passover in preparation for his departure, but none of the disciples were aware of it. When the whole world is going on the main road and the Lord is on a path where he feels he is the only one in the world and could not find a crowd that would work with him, how much Han the Lord must have had.

9. Jesus was seriously praying for the last time in the Garden of Gethsemane over whether or not to go to the cross, but what about the 3 disciples? Even when they were asleep, while Jesus prayed to Heaven to let this cup be taken if possible, how much he must  have prayed with the hope that the three disciples would wake up and have the determination to carry the cross with the Lord. At the serious crossroads of whether to live or die, or whether to carry the cross or not, in that critical situation when he stayed up all night, he returned to the disciples each time and they were still sleeping.

10. When Jesus was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane the night before his arrest, the disciples who should have stayed awake and prayed were dozing off, and as the hour of death drew near, he said, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death.” (Matthew 26:38) “I am going to die very soon,” and even plead to the disciples.

This is my final moment with you. Please wake up and stay up and pray with me.” He shared his sorrowful heart. He even begged his disciples to wake up.

If we look at the following words of the Bible, we can guess how miserable and sorrowful the heart of Jesus was at that time. Let’s try to feel the position and heart of Jesus at that time in the Bible.

11. Matthew 26:36-46, 56 Jesus’ Last Prayer in Gethsemane

36 Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane. When they got there, he told them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray." 37 Jesus took along Peter and the two brothers, James and John. He was very sad and troubled,

The Bible said Jesus was very sorrowful and troubled: “Do I need to die or not?”

38 and he said to them, "I am so sad that I feel as if I am dying. Stay here and keep awake with me."

Jesus begged his three disciples (to stay awake with him). He expressed his heart, “I am so sorrowful. I feel as if I am dying. Please stay here and keep awake with me, and (let’s) pray together.”

39 Jesus walked on a little way. Then he knelt with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, don't make me suffer by having me drink from this cup. But do what you want, and not what I want."

“You took 6,000 years to send me. How sorrowful you are! How painful! In order to send me, you went through so many difficulties and sacrifices. Heavenly Father, if I die, who will be responsible for your will? Who will console you? Who will liberate you? … If it is possible, I don’t want to die. I want to survive with you, Heavenly Father. … But what you want, and not what I want, I will really follow you, but if possible, I will try to survive. If I die, these Israeli people, the chosen people, how much indemnity they will need to pay! If I die, you will need to wait another 2,000 years in order to send another messiah. That is why I beg you, if it is possible, don’t make me suffer by having me drink from this cup. This is my wish. I do not know what your will is. No matter what, I will absolutely obey you, God.” He had this serious prayer, then…

40 He came back and found his disciples sleeping. So he said to Peter, "Can't any of you stay awake with me for just one hour?

Just one hour? What kind of disciples they were! How sorrowful Jesus was!

41  Stay awake and pray that you won't be tested.

If you pray, God will protect you; if you sleep, … Satan.

You want to do what is right, -- I know your original mind is right; however, your physical body -- you are weak." 42   Again Jesus went to pray and said, "My Father, if there is no other way, and I must suffer, I will still do what you want."

“Heavenly Father, if there is really, really, really no other way, if I need to die, if I need to go to the cross…”. How desperate Jesus was! He was ready to die one hundred times, one thousand times, no problem. The problem was that if he died, God would suffer for another 2,000 years. For another 2,000 years all of mankind would need to pay indemnity. How many people will die! “No matter what, I need to survive. I need to fulfill God’s will.”

43   Jesus came back and found them sleeping again. They simply could not keep their eyes open. 44   He left them and prayed the same prayer once more. 45   Finally, Jesus returned to his disciples and said, "Are you still sleeping and resting?  The time has come for the Son of Man to be handed over to sinners.

We cannot blame the Israelis. We cannot blame Jesus’ disciples. They are (in) my situation. If I were there 2,000 years ago, maybe (I would do the) same thing or worse than the disciples. That is fallen man.

Jesus finally gave up everything. He decided to go the way of the cross.

46  Get up! Let's go. The one (Judas Iscariot) who will betray me is already here." 56 All of Jesus' disciples left him and ran away.

 11. If I am a believer that has to inherit the Lord’s Han, I should check whether the heart of the Lord, who was sacrificed because of the will of heaven, is being inherited in my own heart. When it comes to us, there is a need to ask ourselves “Are we really the one who carry Heaven’s Han centering on Heaven’s heart and circumstances?” There are many people who say that they are for the sake of heaven, but do I really have the heart of heaven? It’s not only the disciples who sat around Jesus, but what kind of concerns and worries do “I” have for True Parents? Am “I” someone who carries the Han of heaven and tries to fulfill Heaven’s wishes?

We cannot just blame Jesus’ disciples. Nor are we blaming Israelis and Christians. We are the same as they are. That’s why we need to learn through Jesus’ course. We need to learn through Israeli history. We don’t want to repeat the same course, the same situation again and again and again. What is the key?

12. We must each reflect on what kind of concerns and worries I have. We must inherit God’s Han (the bitter sorrows of God), the Han of Jesus, and the Han of True Parents, relieve their Han, and must find and establish the kingdom of God. As long as anyone has the Han between God and True Parents, they can never get tired along the way. Anyone can keep moving forward. Who are the filial sons and daughters? They are the ones who bear the Han of their parents in their heart and struggles, waking up or sleeping for their liberation.

What did I learn from Jesus' course? How to inherit God’s han, our beloved Jesus’ han, True Parents’ han. Their han has to be my han. As long as I keep Jesus’ sorrow, Jesus’ bitter heart, as long as I truly understand True Parents’ hardships and suffering, indemnity for the sake of all humankind, I cannot stop God’s will. I cannot do my own things. Father said, “When I met God, if I just came to understand that Jesus was almighty God, such a powerful God, whatever he wants, he can do anything, if I know God is that kind of God, then there is no need to follow God. He can do everything, why would he need me? That is why Father asked God, “Do you need me?” God said, “Absolutely … I need you.” “How much do you need me?” “100%.”

“Do you have any wishes?” God could not give an answer. Do you know what(?why?). He just cried and cried and cried. Father met that kind of sorrowful heart. He said, “God’s han became my han. Whenever I think about God’s han, I cannot sleep. I cannot be tired. No matter what, I must keep going on.” How can we keep going on? There is only one answer. I have to inherit God’s han. I need to inherit Jesus’ han. Then until I die, as long as I am breathing, I can go forward.

We need to learn from our True Parents. True Parents have revealed all the top secrets of Jesus' life … and God’s han. True Father is amazing. Let’s inherit God’s han, True parents’ han -- they become my han -- and keep going. Let’s help our True Mother establish God’s kingdom of heaven, God’s Cheon il guk on the earth.
