(Response to sharing) True Father said where there is love, when you love someone, he or she is a always with you. I think he is helping you and helping us. His name is Star; on the earth he was a star, and in the spiritual world I think he will be a great star. I think he will help us; let’s work together.♦
I was inspired to hear Osmarina’s beautiful testimony. I love Gilbert so much, too. (I wish) I could have worked more closely with him. Just a short time. But I understand that his passion, his enthusiasm, is stronger than (that of) anyone else. I think he is listening to Morning Devotion. I think he will witness to many in the spiritual world and ask them to join and help our Morning Devotion.
Today I’d like to talk again about “Tell people about True Parents” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 1.
Families who have received the marriage Blessing probably have children. There is no parent who would say, “I gave birth to this child so he will grow on his own.” Unificationist parents who have received the Blessing and non-unificationist parents alike want their children to become better than they are. You are people who have been educated with in Divine Principle. True Father worked hard all his life up until he passed away to educate you and raise you up as true people. This means that you owe a lot to True Parents and to God. If the first generation of the Unification movement is to fulfill their responsibility completely and if you are to make Heavenly Parent's dream come true by following True Father's word, then you should not just be content with receiving the Blessing yourselves but you must also guide all seven billion people of the world to receive the marriage Blessing.
When you think about your surroundings and your tribe, race, nation and world, you who have received the Blessing should have created the environment to welcome the day that Heavenly Parent longed for. For decades, you grew up receiving True Parents' fundamental heart. Therefore, you have to live a life that can repay this to Heaven. You have to complete your mission as tribal messiahs. You should have created this environment already. If you had done this, everyone in your hometown would already know the flow of providential history. (2013.05.02, Cheon Hwa Gung)
True Mother has repeatedly asked us to complete our mission as a tribal messiah. She also spoke about the environment. Through completing our mission as a tribal messiah, that is creating the environment to restore one nation, one sovereignty, one people, which is Cheon il guk. Father said without completing our mission as a tribal messiah, there is no way to establish God’s substantial Cheon il guk. The main purpose of heavenly tribal messiahship is what? To establish God’s substantial Cheon il guk on the earth.
The people of today need to be different. You have met the True Parents. You have received the marriage Blessing from True Parents. You are no longer wild olive trees but true olive trees. This means that you are now in a position that has no relation to the Fall. Is it okay for only you to be in such a position? Heavenly Parent's wish and True Parents' wish is to bless all seven billion people of the world as Heavenly Parent's children. If they know of the truth, what will happen to today's people? They will become one. If that happens, the unified world, heaven on earth, will automatically be achieved. However, you who have received the Blessing, pastors who have received the calling first, you have a responsibility. True Parents cannot fulfill this responsibility for you. You need to do it. True Parents have shown you, practiced it and prepared a foundation of victory. Thus, you only need to fulfill your responsibility by following us exactly. Do you understand? I am saying that you must not stop because one family is blessed.
Let’s learn from True Parents their spirit, their concept of salvation. Our True Parents concept of salvation is the same as God’s concept of salvation, namely, total salvation. True Mother always talks about 7.8 billion people. She is always thinking about the entire cosmos and all of humankind. She says that while we need to fulfill our own portion of responsibility as a tribal messiah, that is not enough. We need to think that many people do not know True Parents and do not know God’s will. That’s why we continuously need to convey and deliver our True Parents’ message to everyone so that they will get to know who True Parents are and the meaning of the Blessing. I love God’s concept of salvation, that is Total Salvation, nobody missing; that is, one family under God. When we treat all humankind, each human being, as God’s sons and daughters, we need to have a clear concept of total salvation -- not only me, not only my family, not only my relatives. We need to think they are children of God, my own brothers and sisters.
Educating people will help overcome natural disasters and all the things that are happening around the world. Whether I am in Korea, Japan or America, I ask members to unite and educate others so that these problems can be resolved. This is fulfilling one's responsibility as a tribal messiah. You need to tell others. There must be no one who does not know, especially since they are living at the same time as True Parents. By doing this you will live freely in the eternal world. Our life as blessed families is the greatest blessing in all of the 6,000-year history of fallen human beings. You must not keep it to yourselves. There is a future for us, and for those of the second and third generations. Depending on how you expand your environment, your descendants can be freer. Isn't it the parents' heart to hope that their children will live a better life than they have? Hence, for the sake of your loving children, you must fulfill your responsibilities before you go to the next world. (2015.12.12, International Peace Education Center, Las Vegas)
Recently True Mother has examined the importance of heavenly tribal messiahship. Let’s look at True Father's words about the tribal Messiah more.
The Reason Why We Must Find a Nation
“No matter how fortunate one is, if one’s family’s fate lies in the bad side then he is to be pulled into it. No matter how fortunate a family is, if the tribe’s fate lies in a situation that is being chased, then the family is to be driven into it. Furthermore, no matter how one tribe is fortunate , if the nation’s fate is unstable, then the tribe’s fate is also driven to be unstable. No matter how a nation is fortunate , if the world that the nation belongs to is unfortunate, then the nation is also swept away by the misfortune.” <19-300>
“Then what will remain at the final moment? At the very moment when the fate of a family, a tribe and a people is passing through, you must at once restore the fate of an individual through the restoration of one nation. We must find a family after finding an individual, a tribe after finding a family, a race after finding a tribe and a nation after finding a race.”
True Father said that in the last days, heavenly fortune is connected from the individual to the world level at the same time, so in restoration, it is necessary to set up a strategy to restore everyone from the individual to the world all at once.
We should make the most of the global Internet system, which is today’s modern convenience, to inform mankind of True Parents and make sure that all people receive the Blessing. Just as the spirit world has no time and space constraints, this earth has become such a world.
This earthly world where we live is now facing an era where we go beyond time and space and experience that humankind is one family.
Therefore, as True Father said, in the face of an amazing era where everything from individuals to countries and the world can be restored at the same time, we must make operations and plans suitable for this era.
As True Mother said, everything has entered the one-second era.
Therefore, even Satan, who has dominated the whole world so far, faces an amazing time of heavenly fortune where everything Satan had been in charge of can be restored if Heaven properly establishes strategies and tactics.
Therefore, we should go beyond the thinking that God’s restoration will take a lot of time again as in the past.
Now it is a different time. That is why True Parents are speaking of “Era Ones(?Once?).” We can see a global Internet system; everywhere we can connect to each other. We can meet anyone within one second. This is an amazing modern technical era.
In fulfilling the Heavenly Tribal Messiah mission and educating members, we must actively devise ways to utilize Online Holy Communities.
We need to maximize our use of the modern technical system, and in this way we can fulfill our heavenly tribal messiah mission.
The Nation Comes through the HTM
<118-161> Is there any nation in Unification Movement? As of now, we only do own the realm of the HTM. From now on then, let s just invest these Tribal Messiahs for the nation. So what is it? It is the campaign of ‘Home Church’ and the campaign of letting 430 couples blessed. There must be everywhere for this. Hereby in many places where the tribal messiah are formed can be automatically connected into one nation. I’m telling you, this will be done in any country so that the nation comes. Therefore, centering on this, globalization would appear.
The (restoration of the) nation comes through the heavenly tribal messiahship. This is important guidance.
What we need to know for sure is that expansion of the Heavenly Tribal Messiah movement is aimed at restoring the country. It's the best strategy and means to go further and restore the world.
That’s why without exception we need to fulfill the heavenly tribal messiah mission and need to ask (other) people to fulfill it. Our portion of responsibility is really amazing!
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: Principle of Creation 9 - Life of Give and Take Action
This is some of the most powerful content in the Divine Principle. So let’s study how to apply give-and-take action in our daily life. Let’s study again the EDP content.
• Through the agency of universal prime energy, the subject and object elements of every entity form a common base and enter into interaction. This interaction, in turn, generates all the forces the entity needs for existence, multiplication, and action.
• The interaction generating these forces through this process is called give and take action.
Based on this EDP content, let’s study Father’s word in detail.
God Wants to Give Infinitely
<36-77> How great is the pain of God who wants to give infinitely but is unable to as He watches human beings live in the evil world today? God feels regret for being unable to give more even after preparing a good position. How mortifying it is that there isn’t a person who can receive everything God wants to give. Is a widower or bachelor happy? Even if he conquers a country or the whole world, if he is alone, is he a happy person, or is he an unfortunate person? Which is it? A person who cannot love cannot become a happy person. A happy person is one who can give and take love eternally centered on God. Such a person is engulfed in love even after death.
True Father said to think about how great is the pain of God, who wants to give love indefinitely but is unable to because He is limited by the fallen world.
If God intervened directly with human beings in the fallen realm, Satan definitely would accuse him. Even though God has the heart to give and wants to help each human being, Satan would accuse him. When each human being fulfills his portion of responsibility and makes good conditions, only then can God help him and have give and take with him. He is very limited.
No matter how much He wants to give even after preparing a good position, God does not have a person bearing the standard of relating with His heart who can receive it. How bitter does God feel?
Are widowers or bachelors happy? Even if you have an entire country and the world, are you happy or unhappy if you are single and living alone?
If you are alone, it doesn’t make any sense because love only comes from the object partner. That is why those who do not marry never settle in the spiritual world. Why? There is no object partner. Anyone who goes to the spiritual world without a proper marriage just hangs around and becomes a ghost. Most ghosts are bachelors with no spouse. Even though people may not know True Parents and the Divine Principle, it is still better to marry and be a couple and have some experience with a spouse, with parents, with a friend, with an object partner. If you don’t have that connection(?) and just go to the spiritual world, you will be most miserable. Why? That kind of person does not fit in the system of the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven is the pair system. No pair? Alone? Bachelor?... They don’t fit the universal principle.
A person who wants to love but has no object to love is the most unhappy person. A happy person is a person with an object with whom to have give and take forever with God as the center.
That’s why I would like to encourage you before you go to spiritual world, to settle your relationship with your spouse. This is very important. If someone is a widower or widow, they need to settle down through Cheongpyeong before going to the spiritual world. Once you pass away, have left the earthly world and have no physical body, that is not a simple job. That is why while you are on earth, you need to settle very clearly.
When Heung Jin Nim passed away, immediately True Father found his spouse, Hoon Sook Nim. He blessed all the sages … and arranged for their children (to be blessed) because Father knows the structure of the kingdom of heaven centered on the four position foundation. This is a universal principle. Nobody can avoid the structure of the kingdom of heaven.
<36-77> If there is a person who can cry the most tears for you, and establish a complete bond of companionship, such a person is God. Dying inside of such a God’s bosom would be the greatest happiness. Isn’t it so everyone? The women who are here, isn’t it so? They say there are no regrets when dying in the bosom of one’s beloved. It is the same. When looking at this, what is the path the Unification Church must go? You must become people who feel ashamed even after sacrificing yourself. Occasionally there are people who say they have come to ruin after joining the Unification Church but they are all people who lived for themselves.
There are people who say ‘I came to ruin because of the Unification Church! I devoted the flower of my youth but wasn’t even able to receive the blessing! Now I’m 50.” There are people who tell me ‘I became like this but why do you ignore me? Why don’t you bless me?' Who do those people live for? Do they live for the country or for the world? They lived for themselves. Therefore, as a person who takes responsibility for the public, when I hear this should I say ‘Is that so? I should really consider your circumstance’ or should I not take on such people?
The world of Heavenly law is a life of always thinking of and serving others first. And they don't expect a return. If you expect something back, it's always easy to put yourself first.
This is because those who assert themselves did not know the essence of a life of faith and the Principle until now.
This is important guidance.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: God’s Circumstance and His Heart of Han (Bitter Heart)
1. We came to know that God, who came to carry Han after losing Heaven and Earth and His children due to the faithlessness of the first family of Adam and took responsibility over the Fall without being able to reveal His Han and even thought that He alone had to shoulder the Han of human beings, is the Heavenly Parent. God, you bear unspeakable pain and sorrow because of the Fall of man, but you could not speak of your own situation because there is no child who can take responsibility for your suffering, Han, and sorrow.
After Adam and Eve fell, Heavenly Father had to settle. Even though Adam and Eve made a mistake and God had so much regret …, he thought, “I am the creator. I am the parent of Adam and Eve, no matter what. I have to be responsible for them.” That was God’s heart. Even though Adam and Eve made a mistake, God as the parent had to be responsible for Adam and Eve’s fall. When Heavenly Father looks at the situation of Adam and Eve’s descendants from generation to generation continuously creating all kinds of problems, Heavenly Father could not find anyone to reveal his han, his sorrowful heart. When Adam and Eve fell, they went to hell and became servants of servants. Their level of heart is very low. God is just pleading(?beating/waiting?) to raise them up. Day and night he only focused on that.
Can you imagine the last 6,000 years he could not find anyone with whom to have give and take and could not reveal his internal heart. “My heart was like that. Before creating Adam and Eve, how excited I was! Since they fell, do you know how broken my heart is?” He could not reveal his heart and emotion at all. He was just hiding and hiding -- not only for one or ten years. According to the Bible record it was 6,000 years. More. For 6,000, 10,000, 20,000 -- I do not know how many years -- he could not reveal his heart. He tried to be responsible for each fallen … mistake. He was busy and busy -- no time to show his heart(?).
WhenTrue Father came to the earth and met God, he came to know Heavenly Father’s miserable situation. He was the first one to notice and recognize and feel God’s sorrow. For the first time God met his object partner who understood his situation. Then they hugged each other and cried and cried. How many days, how many months -- Father’s entire life was trying to release Heavenly Father’s han. That is why our True Father is so precious! Heavenly God can not forget True Father. True Father was the first object partner to have give and take with God. It was the first time God revealed his heart.
According to Father’s experience, when he discovered God’s miserable situation, do you know God’s response? In the beginning God did not want to reveal his inner suffering sorrowful situation. He still tried to hide and not show (his situation) to True Father. Then Father cried some more. God as a parent does not want to show his feeling, his emotion, his suffering, his hardship because he does not want to hurt any human being.
We have to become that kind of object partner. Can God come to me to share his heart? “My heart is like that, my child.” We have not reached that level yet. God bears unspeakable pain and sorrow because of the fall of man, “but you could not speak about your situation because there is no child who can take responsibility for your suffering heart and sorrow.”
“We can guess that you are the Heavenly Parent, who had to take the lead, bearing only the pitiful situations of human beings while being unable to show Your many situations of Han as You walked on the course of restoration through hardship in search of the people of restoration.”
2. In the course of faith, of learning about the Principle, even though there are many sufferings, pain and hardships, the reason we cannot say that it is difficult or hard to bear is because we know God’s han and sorrow. We will come to realize that we were unable to become individuals who could liberate God, who walked on the path of blood, sweat and tears for the sake of human restoration. Rather, we have made Him carry the cross.
How many of our blessed families can release God’s heart and han, his sorrow? We are in the opposite situation: We are the ones who made him carry the cross. We need to really grow up and cultivate our hearts and become mature and become filial sons and daughters and truly relieve his han and his sorrow. Then we really can become his filial sons and daughters.
3. We knew the word of God, but the Word of God did not become life in us. Also, although we temporarily tasted the power of the Word through True Parents’ words, we did not inherit True Parents' victorious authority to subjugate enemies through the reconciliation of Cain and Abel. As a result, we cannot deny that we cannot realize God’s Will on this earth and have no choice but to remain before God and True Parents as the substantial Han. We struggle to live according to the Will and call God our Parent, but we must seriously reflect on whether or not we became substantial Han that is actually causing God to carry a heavy cross.
4. The more we know God's will, heart, circumstances, wishes, and sorrows, and the more we know about True Parents’ course of indemnity and hard work, the more we realize that only our responsibility remains. We will come to realize that wherever we are, we must have the life of the Word in us and become entities that shine light in front of the dark world. However, we come to admit that we are still pitiful entities that cannot burn wood, but only give off smoke because there is an element of disbelief that blocks the light. Even starting from now, we should return to the world of the heart of the early days and hope to become the ones who can rekindle the fire of the Word in our hearts.
Do you know how much True Father is aware(?)? Since Adam and Eve fell until now, according to the Bible, was 6,000 years. In one generation Father paid the price, paid the entire (burden of) indemnity from the individual level to the family level, from the family level to the tribal level, from the tribal level to the people and nation and world and cosmos until God’s level. Within one generation Father paid all the prices, the whole of indemnity. In order to pay that ultimate level of indemnity, Father could not rest. His entire life was suffering and suffering, prison to prison. He said, “I could not relax.” He went to the ocean and fought with rough waves. He thinks the ocean is (like) the fallen world and catching fish is like saving each one of humankind.
During his entire life how much he taught us day and night, pouring out from early morning, sometimes 20 hours of hoondokhae. We have never seen that kind of teacher, that kind of parent, that kind of human being. Our True Father is a great example. He paid the whole price. We received the Blessing. Based on that, True Mother could proclaim the era of Cheon il guk. Even though he was God’s only begotten son, he could not fulfill his job. How much we are indebted to True Father! We cannot pay it back. Even though we borrow one thousand times, we cannot pay back True Parents. Father and Mother are amazing people.
If we know the value of True Parents, how can we betray them? How can we go our own way. Very simple. We need to be the ones who really become mature and grow up and understand the heart of True Parents and God. We should become filial sons and daughters and release God’s and True Parents’ han. Our life is very short; who can live more than 100 years? Most of us die before that. We wear our physical body on the earth. This is the most precious time. Now we live with True Parents; one year is like 1,000 years. (Time is) that valuable! We need to work harder -- like True Father and True Mother. Day and night, even though we are immature guys, our goal is how to release God’s han, how to release True Parents’ han. That is our job.
5. It is a truth that Jesus came to kindle a fire on this earth, but in the end, the lamentation of not being able to light a fire is being passed down to us. Even in the age of living with True Parents, we have the same wishes. Therefore, we must become the ones who have to kindle the fire of God and True Parents’ Han through HTM activities. Even today, we must encourage each other and go out on the course to increase God’s fellow workers who fight with His Han in each church and organization around the world. We must realize that wherever we go, we must become true sons and daughters who bring God’s Word to true life and resurrect all people.
6. As Your children, we must all become people that can resolve to become trustworthy filial sons and daughters who can accomplish what True Parents wanted to do when they came to this earth. We must now take responsibility for and liberate God's resentment, which was caused by the disbelief of Adam’s family and has never been relieved even once. As we studied the course of restoration, we came to know the tangled situation of the providence of restoration, in which all the central figures brought Han onto God over and over again. From now on, let’s become people who can do our best to make the contents of heart touching and influence received from the grace of True Parents’ Words become the seeds of fire and burn in great flames.
(Response to sharing) I think the way to understand God’s and True Parents’s suffering and han (is that) we need to be crazy to save people, really crazy. Whenever you meet people, (ask yourself) how can I save them, how can I take care of them? Then pray for their suffering and difficulties. Then our heart comes closer to God and True Parents. Without witnessing, without meeting people, without raising people, there is no way to cultivate my heart; there is no way to reach God’s level of heart. That is why we need to be like God, like True Parents (asking), “How can I love each human being …? Through that way of loving people and caring for people, (I can) really cultivate my heart day by day. Without loving people, without caring for them, there is no way to cultivate my heart.♦
Now we are not living in the old testament era, the new testament era, and the completed testament era. Now we are living in the era of Cheon il guk. We need to become God’s filial sons and daughters. Our final goal, no matter what, is to release God’s han, True Parents’ sorrowful heart. If we keep God’s han and True Parents’ han, that sorrow, as my sorrow, definitely we can fulfill our mission as tribal messiahs. If we don’t have God’s han, True Parents’ han, we will have no more power to carry on continuously. How could Father carry on his job continuously without tiredness until he died? Because he carried God’s han. It made him really powerful. No matter what, he could go forward. That’s why we need to inherit God’s han, our central figure’s han. We need to inherit our ancestors’ han as our own han. We need to inherit our True Parents’ han and have it become my han. Then finally when we fulfill our portion of responsibility, we can release God’s han and True Parents’ han.♦
