Key Points
Because we all desire and need true love, nothing is more precious than true love, no one is more precious than a person of true love. It is the purpose of our life.
To be a person of true love, we need to live 100% for our partner by giving, investing and sacrificing for him unconditionally and forgetting we have done so.
The selflessness of true love is like salt dissolving in water; the salt disappears but the salty taste remains.
To experience true freedom we should live within the Principle by yearning for and being intoxicated by the word, should take responsibility to voluntarily serve, protect, and love others without being restricted by anyone, and should accomplish the multiplication of love to give joy and happiness to God and others.
The motive and purpose of true freedom comes from a filial heart to please others and to please God.
Children often go wrong because they have not united with their parents, are swept away by an adverse environment or bad friends, and are influenced by Cain-like thought.
The antidote to these negative influences is parents’ model life and family practice of regular hoondokhae, prayer and devotion.
Children must experience God and know the reality of the spirit world through prayer and sincere devotion from early childhood.
As a family we should cultivate spirituality through a life of prayer and sincere devotion. Then we will have dreams and spiritual experiences.
When our child makes a mistake, if we pray seriously, does our child have a dream or a small accident? Then we may say, “God really did intervene.”
If we focus on something in prayer, does something happen or not? If we have a challenging spirit, we can know how God helps us and how our prayer comes true.
Communist ideology is typical of archangelic thought that leads us to betray God, disrespect our seniors and our teachers, and rebel against our parents. It promotes a logic of struggle.
Ideally we should respect and trust our superiors.
If children do live by the Word and obey their parents, they will have to “experience the punishment of the spirit world” in their lives.
“When children trust their parents, they are better than their parents.”

Finally I returned to New York yesterday after completing all of my schedule for the past 8 days, including the Hawaii schedule.
Our True Mother was so beautiful and powerful. I was so happy to see her. I think our national president, Naokimi, someday can share what she talked about.
Last Friday, March 10th, President Naokimi, Rev. Kevin Thompson, and I met with GPA members who are attending the GPA Family Workshop in Estes Park, Colorado. They shared their testimonies and we had Q&A session.
This GPA Family Retreat was truly an amazing meeting where the future of the Unification Movement was promising. We sincerely thank the GPA staff for all their hard work.
Then, next day, family members of GPA joined together and I gave special guidance and vision for them.
We took a beautiful group photo.
I think our GPA families were more inspired than the GPA members. Incredible! I encourage second and third generation to join GPA definitely. They will all have life-changing experiences.
The next day, March 12, we had a Family Reunion Service at Colorado Family Church.
Pastor Michael and Adonia Hentrich shared about their church activities and growth. Then, Rev. Thompson gave greetings, President Naokimi shared about vision and goal of Family Federation USA, Then, I gave a sermon with the title of “What kind of model a church should be.”
Thank you to Michael and his family for their hard work for this family reunion service.

This Colorado Family Church had a gathering of many young families. And it is a model church where many 2nd and 3rd generation children grow well. It was a church with a very promising future.
On March 13, we went up to the summit of Pikes Peak in the Rocky Mountains and prayed together.
All of us prayed earnestly for the fulfillment of True Parents' vision and for the restoration of the world and the United States.
It is about 14,000 feet (4,300 meters) (tall).
I was amazed at the mystery of God’s creation. I hope you call come to visit there.

Today I’d like to talk about “The Path of Life for All Humankind” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.

The entire spirit world and physical universe together are called the cosmos. The spirit world and the universe yearn for the unity of the cosmos centering on true love. True love can unite the cosmos. True love can transform all families into completed families and make them one. Thus, we can conclude that true love is the only thing that humanity needs absolutely, whether we are alive on earth or are in the spirit world.
All beings are attracted to true love. Animals and plants are attracted to the one who possesses true love. They want such a person to be their master. Every being is trying to become one with the person who has true love. The desire of all things is to be closer, to dwell together with, and to be under the dominion of a person who possesses true love. We can conclude, therefore, that nothing in this world is more precious than a true person who possesses true love.
Human beings have no wings. If we want to fly farther than any insect or bird, or circle the planet faster than an airplane, we cannot be confined to our substantial physical body. Even the strongest runner cannot run for very long. As the highest being in creation, human beings are in a reciprocal position equal to God's. So human beings need to be able to act even more quickly than light, which travels at about 300,000 kilometers per second. It is our spiritual selves that make such a thing possible. I can be in Seoul, and my spirit self can travel to New York and be back in an instant, faster than a bolt of lightning. The spirit self is capable of acting at the speed of thought.
The whole spirit world and the universe wish to unite as one. Then, what should unify them so that everyone can be happy? It is only true love. And the only thing that people living on earth today absolutely need, both on earth and in the spirit world, is true love.
True love is something that every human, the whole spirit world, all plants and animals, and even God are attracted to. Therefore, the desire of all things is to be closer, to dwell together with, and to be under the dominion of a person who possesses true love. We can conclude that nothing in this world is more precious than true love and a true person who possesses true love.
Therefore, what we must clearly know is that the purpose of our life is not money, fame, or knowledge, but only true love.
Then, how can we become a person of true love? True love comes only through the other person, so we have to live 100% for the sake of our partner. Then what does it mean to live for the sake of others? It is giving unconditionally and forgetting that we have given, investing unconditionally and forgetting that we have invested, sacrificing unconditionally and forgetting we have sacrificed. This is the attribute of true love.
If we want to live for the sake of others, we must not assert ourself, we must become like salt that dissolves in water for the sake of others. Salt dissolves in water and does not reveal itself, but it does not lose its salty taste.
A life lived for the sake of others is like salt dissolving in water. The father dissolves and disappears, the mother dissolves and disappears, the husband dissolves and disappears, the wife dissolves and disappears, and the children also dissolve and disappear.
However, they all dissolve and disappear, but they taste salty all together. In this way, true love is when the existence of oneself fades away and becomes salty.
I love these words. Self-denial means what? To dissolve and disappear while still tasting salty. There is no need to name the father. There is no need to name the mother, the children or anyone. They just dissolve and disappear, but they taste salty altogether. That is true love. That is the meaning of self-denial. How beautiful it is!

Freedom and the Human Fall
• What is the meaning of true freedom? In light of the Principle, three characteristics of freedom stand out. First, there is no freedom outside the Principle.
• Freedom requires both free will and the free actions pursuant to that will.
• Free will and free actions have the relationship of internal nature and external form, and perfect free dom is achieved when they are in harmony.
• Therefore, there cannot be any free action with out free will, nor can free will be complete without free actions to accompany it.
• Free actions are generated by free will, and free will is an expression of the mind.
• The mind of an original, sinless person cannot operate outside of God’s words, that is, the Principle.
• It will never express free will or generate free action apart from the Principle.
• Undoubtedly, freedom of a true person never deviates from the Principle.
• There is no freedom without responsibility.
• Human beings, created according to the Princi ple, can reach perfection only by fulfilling their res pon si bility based on their free will.
• Accordingly, a person pursuing the purpose of creation as prompted by his free will ceaselessly strives to carry out his portion of responsibility.
• There is no freedom without responsibility.
• There is no freedom without accomplishment.
• When human beings exercise freedom and carry out their responsibility, they strive to accomplish re sults which complete the purpose of creation and bring joy to God.
• Free will ceaselessly pursues concrete results through free actions.
Let’s study Father’s word.
Three Principles of Freedom
<205-141> You know all three principles of freedom, don’t you? What is the first one? It should stand by the Principle. Freedom cannot exist without standing by the Principle. There is no other freedom than such freedom in this world. What is the second one? “Responsibility” People – whoever they may be – have to take their own responsibility. Even though people say, “I don’t care,” God doesn’t like it, does He? Even community leaders don’t want to take their responsibility. You don’t want to do that, do you? When people take any action, they have to take responsibility for the action. Without doing it, it cannot be goodness. The more you take action without responsibility, the worse it will be. Nobody likes bad things.
There is No Freedom Without Accomplishment (Multiplication of Goodness)
<205-141> What is the third one? It is multiplication of goodness. Freedom cannot exist without multiplication of goodness. American young people, think about it. You said, “What are they? Who are those eastern people?” and mocked them. Think about Father. I have been here almost 20 years. I established this much foundation during the time. Now, all the people acknowledge that Rev. Moon has been right during the time. American acknowledge on their own that they were wrong. Why is that? The principle lasts forever. Forever. Do you understand? “Yes.”
We must always be aware of the three principles of freedom. First, we must know that there is no freedom outside the principle. Our original nature always feels free when we are with the Word and the truth. Therefore, if we always yearn for the truth, God’s word, and live intoxicated by the Word, our original nature will enjoy true freedom and feel happy. However, the farther we are away from the Word and the truth, the more human beings end up becoming self-indulgent.
Second, we must know that with freedom comes responsibility. What is the responsibility for freedom? It is a responsibility to voluntarily serve, protect, and love others without being restricted by anyone. The purpose of God giving freedom to human beings is to live for, love, and protect the other person with a willing and happy heart. Therefore, our responsibility is to please and move others.
Third is that freedom cannot exist without accomplishment.
The purpose of God's freedom to humankind is for the multiplication of love. Because the more love multiplies, the more joy it creates. Therefore, freedom that does not bring about the multiplication and accomplishment of love loses its original meaning.
Therefore, we must accumulate achievements of joy, love and move people through freedom in order to create joy and happiness for God and other people.
Therefore, we must know that the motive and purpose of true freedom comes from a filial heart to please others and to please God.

Satan's Wish and the Reality of University Education
1. In the present day, our children listen to their parents to a certain extent until they go to college,. But when they go to college, they often go on the wrong path because they are influenced by the Cain ideology of their professors or friends. In the case of Korea, when students attending good universities have a sense of superiority on the outside and are influenced by Cain's thoughts, there is a high possibility that they will betray their superiors, criticize, and reject others.
In the past, Korea and Japan in the 70's and 80's, many students went to universities and were stained with the Communist Party, so there were many cases where things went wrong. It is easy to betray your parents or elders if you are influenced by the teachings of the Communist Party. It is Satan's wish to do so. The archangel said to Eve, 'I have nothing to ask of God. you listen to me. I told you not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil because it seems that your eyes will be opened and you will become like God.” Looking at this, how much did the archangel disobey God's word?
Today, in most cases children go on the wrong path because they have not united with their parents within the family, which adversely affects them.
The second reason is because children are swept away by the wrong environment around them, or because they make the wrong friends. Next, it is because they go to school and are influenced by the erroneous Cain ideology.
Therefore, in order to guide their children correctly, parent must show the importance of a model life. Children are not educated by words. Only through showing a model life can they be educated.
Then, how should we set up countermeasures against the problems of teenagers or children going to school and being governed by Cain ideology? It is necessary to firmly instill the Divine Principle thought through Hoon-Dok from an early age.
Children who grow up without proper hoondok education within the family will surely be stained with the Cain ideology when they enter university, and will be influenced by their friends and will easily follow the self-indulgent, humanistic, and Cain-oriented path.
Therefore, if parents always teach their children the Word, and show them a model life of putting the Word into practice, they should live it. And most importantly, children must experience God and know the reality of the spirit world through prayer and sincere devotion from a young age.
Through prayer and sincere devotion, we must allow the spirit world to guide our children. We must cultivate spirituality through a life of prayer and sincere devotion. We should always be guided through our dreams. As long as the children have the right attitude, they are bound to receive guidance from the spirit world through dreams and spiritual experiences.
If children do not stay with the Word from a young age and do not obey the Word of their parents, they will have to experience the punishment of the spirit world in their lives.
When we raise children, let them experience the spiritual world and God through their dreams. Also, parents should not pray externally and vaguely. We need to always challenge God and get confirmation, “Does my prayer really work or not?”
For example, our children make a mistake. Through our prayer can they correct it or not? Are they influenced by our prayer or not? Does our prayer really come true or not? If our child has a particular mistake and we seriously pray for him, how does God intervene? (Perhaps the child) has a dream or has a small accident. Something happens. Then we need to recognize: “God really intervened. Our prayer really came true.”
In our daily life we should always challenge. “Does my prayer really work or not? If I focus on something through my prayer, does something happen or not?” If we do not have such a challenging spirit, we don’t know how God helps us and how our prayer comes true. Just praying vaguely, “Oh, I pray for God and True Mother. I pray for my nation, for my family.” We should not just pray in that external way. We need to challenge. If our first son has some problem, “OK, I pray particularly centered on this point.” Does it work or not? Does the spiritual world really intervene or not? We need to check that. Then we can realize, “Wow! My prayer really works. God did intervene. My prayer always comes true.” Then we can develop our spiritual level.
At the same time, we can educate our children. They will sometimes have a dream or (experience) some spiritual phenomenon. If they don’t follow our direction and something happens and they have an accident, this is incredible. In order to protect our children, let them understand the spiritual world, let them understand God really does exist.
We should teach them that prayer really works and God’s word is so powerful. We need to show that God is alive and the spiritual world really does exist. When children are young, parents need to guide them. Without this kind of guidance, without challenging whether our prayer works or not, just feeding them and letting them sleep, ... we need to raise our children well. We need to challenge them. Is God a living God or not? Does our prayer really work or not through the family? If our spouse does something wrong, through our prayer how does God help him? How does Heavenly Father correct him? Because God is really a living God, because he is alive, because the spiritual world really does exist, it will definitely show in dreams.
If parents don’t teach the Divine Principle, have no hoondokhae and no prayer – even though we may pray a lot silently – if we do not challenge whether our prayer works or not, how can they experience the spiritual world?
Koreans say Pabo – foolish. This is pabo.
Prayer is really important. It really works. God will surely intervene.
Human's Original Nature and Fallen Nature
2. Who was the archangel rejecting when he said to Adam and Eve, “God told us not to eat the fruit, but if you eat it, your eyes will be opened”? Isn't that a betrayal to God? So today, when you enter a good university and learn more about horizontal knowledge, if you become imbued with Cain's thoughts, there is an atmosphere where you don't want to respect people. Cain's thoughts will eventually lead you to betray God, your seniors, your teachers, and your parents. So, isn't this exactly like the Communist Party? It is very similar to the archangel.
In this way, human beings have the original nature to want to be filial to their parents and to respect their teachers, but if they do something wrong, the fallen nature of the archangel will be revealed and they will reject their seniors, teachers, and parents. All fallen human beings have blood like this, so what should they do?
True Parents said that among the Cain ideologies, the most representative is the Communist Party ideology. This communist ideology is the most representative ideology of the archangel.
There are many cases where people become stained with this communist ideology and go on the wrong path. If one is infected with the teachings of the Communist Party, it is easy to think horizontally and betray our parents or seniors. It is Satan's wish to do so.
Just as the archangel taught Adam and Eve to reject God, the Communist Party's ideology does not lead people to harmony and peace, but drives everything to a logic of struggle.
So today, when we enter a good, famous university and learn more about horizontal knowledge, we (tend to) become imbued with Cain ideology. If we become imbued with Cain's thoughts, there is an atmosphere (in which) we don't want to respect people. Cain's thoughts will eventually lead us to betray God, our seniors, our teachers, and our parents. This is the Cain ideology that the archangel planted in the ancestors of humankind from the beginning.
Human beings have the Abel-like original nature of wanting to be filial to their parents and respecting their teachers in their hearts. But on the other hand, if they go on the wrong path, their fallen nature and archangel-like nature will be revealed, and they will become people who reject their seniors, teachers, and parents. Every fallen human being has this kind of blood.
Therefore, what kind of education should be given to these fallen people to make them go on the path of original nature and to stop their fallen nature? This is our homework today.
This is our own portion of responsibility. Which way are we going to choose?
Become a Person Praised by your Superiors and Trusted by Your Parents
3. Among the fallen human nature, when we see a superior, we would rather avoid them rather than bow our heads, respect and welcome them. They don't want to meet and say hello when a superior comes, so they try to avoid it. Don't you guys have that kind of heart? Do you guys have something like that, too? That's the problem. The problem is that they want to follow their superiors closely, but do not have feelings of respect. All of these are characteristics inherited from the archangel. You must respect your superiors and have a desire to be praised by them. When children trust their parents, they are better than their parents. The fact that parents can trust their children means that their children are better than their parents. It is proof that the child's quality is better than the parent's. When you are praised by your superiors, you become better than your superiors. That's unmistakable. However, you cannot become a superior person by causing worry to your superiors. See what the communists do to betray and ruin the older generation. So, isn't that society getting more and more brain-regressive, economy-regressing, and everything becoming more difficult?

See what the communists do to betray and ruin the older generation. So, the society is getting more regressive, economy-regressing, and everything becoming more difficult.
Education in the family is very important: prayer, studying God’s word and educating children properly. We always need to challenge. If we have four or five children, we need to pray for (each of) them very seriously. Some may have a bad habit. Not so good. We need to really guide them properly through our prayer.
Children need to realize that, “If I do not follow my father and mother direction, something happens.” They need to have this kind of lesson from the parents. “Wow! My father and mothers words are really correct. If I don’t follow, something happens.” Sometimes a fearful thing happens in a good way. Sometimes they learn good things.
Parents should always ask children, “How are you? Did you have a dream? Do you have a feeling?” We need to ask internal questions. “Did you have a dream?” Ask often. We need to ask their spiritual feeling about it. This is one way to raise their spirit ... and the spiritual atmosphere. When we are concerned about this area, they can grow spiritually. Dreams are very important. The spiritual world raises human beings through dreams. This is an important (aspect) of raising our beautiful children, right?

(Response to sharing) How can we have an experience of God? Through prayer. Not just vague prayer. We always need to challenge: “Does my prayer work or not? When I pray like that, does it really come true or not? How much influence (do I wield) through my prayer?” We always need to check. Through the answering of our prayer, we can know that God exists; we cannot deny that the spiritual world is a reality.
When we educate our children about the importance of prayer, they start to realize that their prayer really works. This is the best way to educate them and have them experience the spiritual world.♦
