·      That’s why his heart is already in Korea.

·      He realizes that he must deny himself and use his hard won capabilities to release True Mother’s sorrowful heart and han.

·      He knows that as long as we deny ourselves, the rest of the job is God’s job.

·      God will do everything, because we belong to Him.

·      As long as we put God first as the top priority and believe we belong to God, the daughter or son of God, then everything will go well.

(Response to opening Prayer by Rev. Oliver and members’ sharing)

You are talking about the heart of God. I talk in Morning Devotion about centering on the heart of God. I think day and night how to release God’s sorrowful heart and han, how to release True Parents’ sorrowful heart and han. God is calling me to go to Korea and support our sorrowful Mother. That’s why my heart is already in Korea now. I really want to put all of my effort and do my best to release True Mother’s sorrowful heart and han. So I realize what our responsibility is, how we should use our capabilities – deny ourselves. As long as we deny ourselves, the rest of the job is God’s job. He will do everything, because we belong to God.

I am an offering, as the representative of the elder son nation, for the Korean providence. I have been a missionary for more than 32 years. I was kicked out more than six times from other countries. Singapore, Australia, Dominica, Mongolia, etc. I went through all kinds of experiences, suffering and hardships. But I really appreciate that through that kind of course, I learned Heavenly Father’s difficult situation. So now I have accumulated all kinds of experience and some know-how, and lastly, it is time to pull out all my experience and know-how for the Korean providence and the support of True Mother. I think this is my final course. And Mother is also now 80 years old, and as a son it is my last commitment to really support True Mother and release her heavy burden. With this kind of jeongseong foundation, we have the opportunity to recreate the unity between North Korea and South Korea.

Thank you so much for your sharing.

Today I’d like to briefly talk about “The Cornerstone of the Culture for an Ideal World of Peace, from True Mother’s Anthology, Vol. 2. Let us study Mother’s word.

<This speech was given by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon at the Inaugural Convention of the Youth Federation for World Peace, held on July 26, 1994 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.>193-194

The Cornerstone of the Culture for an Ideal World of Peace

The United States is not the only country plagued by the problems that are destroying our youth. Countries all over the world have their share of this global problem. How wonderful it would be if we could eliminate our problems without having to making any efforts. But the issues before us are going to need much more than just good intentions. The world needs a new generation of leaders who understand the source of the problem and provide a comprehensive solution based upon a Godly perspective. We have to realize that the problems of our society stem from the neglect of the spiritual.

When we neglect God in our lives, we lose the source of values that should govern and safeguard our society against selfishness and greed. Without a proper set of priorities, our world becomes an empty shell with grand promises and very little substance. Hence, disregard for God leads to disregard for the family, and disregard for the family leads to disregard for the nation and world. Thus the goal of the Youth Federation for World Peace is to reclaim God and the Godly family as the cornerstone of our civilization in an effort to remedy societal ills and reach the goal of true world peace.

Thank you Heavenly Honey, your voice is always very beautiful. I feel so sad that I won’t be hearing your voice any more. Thank you so much, without missing a single day you put in so much effort.

Anyway, in today’s reading, Mother is talking about God. If we deny God, we lose everything. We need to put God first. We need to put God as the top priority. As long as we put God first as the top priority and believe we belong to God, the daughter or son of God, then everything will go well. Not just from an external point of view, but with an internal point of view. We need to focus on God’s heart. God’s wishes, God’s dream. God’s situation. That is why True Father without giving up to the very last minute did his best. That’s how he changed the nation, changed the world, changed the cosmos. Moved God’s heart. That is Father’s focal point. He focused on God’s wish. Focused on God’s sorrowful heart. That’s why for me, wherever I go, if I focus on heart, focus on God’s priorities, everything can go very well. I think we also learned from our pilgrim fathers a very important lesson.

Thus we must all pray for True Mother’s safety and the Korean peninsula providence.

Thank you very much brothers and sisters, today let’s hear Sub-region 5’s reflections.

Reflections: Nasser& Ulli Zomorod, Rev. Michael Dickerson, Emily Iseda, Younng Joo Scharf, Living Testimony: Roland Platt GPA, & Jeong-sook Lalonde.

Reflections on testimonies:

Wherever I go, God is my sponsor. As long as God is alive, he helps me.

I am so happy to hear from our second generation their beautiful reflections. I am glad that Morning Devotion has impacted second generation and given them a revival experience. Actually that was not me.  That was God’s word, I love True Parents’ word, how much True Father and Mother wanted to convey their words to brothers and sisters.   So, my challenge was, every day: “Heavenly Father, I’m not talking. You’re the one who needs to talk. You are the one who needs to touch each one of the hearts of every one of the members. I really want to deny myself, let you come in and make me your instrument, your mouth.” I really tried to deny myself and feel God’s and True Parents’ han, even our brothers’ and sisters’ han.

I thank our younger generation for encouraging me to do my best, and I wish them to do their best. To ask God how they can they can offer their lives for him. He has a plan for them. If they ask God how they can release Him from his sorrowful han and make him happy, God will surely give them an answer and without hesitation they can just go forward.

(After hearing musical offering “Everything I Do I Do it for You”.)  Everything I do I do for True Father.

(The last day of Dr. Yong’s presentations for Morning Devotion will be tomorrow, May 24th. After that, local leadership will take over. He thinks we will do very well.)

Thank you very much my brothers and sisters, I Love You!
