True Mother’s Words to World Leaders on May 9, 2023 - May 16, 2023

Key Points
True Mother has fulfilled two of her three wishes: to declare Cheon Il Guk and to dedicate the Cheonil Temple and Cheon Won Palace, but we are far from fulfilling the third wish, namely, to unite and restore Korea as a substantial Cheon Il Guk nation.
To do that, we need to secure the majority by witnessing.
True Mother is sad that our church has not grown lately. She asked seriously if there is grace and love, spirit and truth, and resurrection in our churches.
She laments that “there is no substantial foundation to find and establish Cheon Il Guk.”
Since Father’s ascension, True Mother has had to take responsibility for the providence despite being criticized and betrayed by true children and elder leaders.
Though True Mother made personnel and leadership changes, for us to increase our membership, we need to be personally transformed internally.
True Mother said that from now on, she will focus on national restoration with all her heart, mind and strength.
In order to restore 8 billion people, the Family Federation should focus on blessing many people, educating them in the Divine Principle and True Parents’ life course, and converting them into church members.
We must become God’s temple as an individual, a family, a tribe and a nation.
To achieve the majority, quality is more important than quantity. It is the quality of our faith, filial piety, heart and sincerity that determines the quantity (of spiritual children.) If the quality is good, the quantity will surely increase.
We need to reflect on True Mother’s sorrow, tears and stress and comfort her as filial children, particularly through witnessing.

On May 9 this year True Mother gave a really important message to major international world leaders, only 70 or 80 people. She really shared her deep heart and emotion and encouraged us. She talked about her wishes and national restoration. I translated Mother’s words directly into English from Korean. Let me explain about this.
Leaders’ Breakfast Meeting with True Mother at Cheon Jeong Gung, May 9, 2023
1. Cheon Il Guk should be firmly established in the 11th year of Cheon Il Guk, but has the nation been restored? Ten years have passed since True Father ascended, but how much have Cheon Il Guk citizens increased? Looking at the international situation or the North and South Korea situation, if we go out like this, do you think we can see victorious results of national restoration?
2. It is the age when God’s dreams will be realized by offering Cheon Il Guk, but do you think we fulfilled all our responsibilities? The five sub-regional leaders of Korea, has your membership increased? Actual achievements are important. There are four years remaining from now until 2027, but how can we bring national restoration with the current results?
As all of you have been often told, after True Father's ascension, True Mother always emphasizes the three great wishes that must be fulfilled while she is alive. Two of True Mother's three greatest wishes have already been fulfilled, as you know.
The first was the declaration of Cheon Il Guk on January 13, 2013. The second was to dedicate Cheonil Seongjeon (Temple) and Cheonwon Palace to Heavenly Parents and the world in front of God and mankind. This second wish has also been fulfilled.
The third is to completely restore the Republic of Korea and offer it as the substantial Cheon Il Guk. True Mother is very serious about this.
Despite the end of the 1st 7-year course of Cheon Il Guk and the beginning of the 2nd 7 year course, True Mother is deeply saddened by the fact that there is no substantial foundation to find and establish Cheon Il Guk.
During that time, we have laid the external foundation through UPF, but the internal reality of our church is too far from True Mother's dream, so she grew very worried and rebuked the leaders. True Mother very earnestly asked us to focus on witnessing activities instead of holding big events from now on.
3. Dr. Yong of America! Do you have confidence in the restoration of America? There are fifty states in America, so don’t you think two or three states should already be restored by now?
4. From now on, we will go out with a dual system. This is the dual system of UPF and Family Federation. Until now, I have emphasized to you that we must go out with spirit and truth.
5. But are there spirit and truth in your churches? Aren’t you all in a stationary state? There is no grace in your church, is there? And there is no spiritual resurrection either, right?
True Mother mentioned me by name among the world's major leaders and said that in order for the United States to become God's country, two or three states out of the 50 states in the United States should have been restored already.
What are we doing?! I have spent two and a half years in America, but I could feel Mother’s urgent heart, her desperation.
True Mother turned 80 this year. Nevertheless, it is really heartbreaking that the church is not growing worldwide.
She came to know the reality of our church.
What True Mother emphasized this time was that from now on, we will move forward in a dual system. That is the dual system of UPF and the Family Federation.
UPF said that it is necessary to educate major political leaders, religious leaders, and academic leaders to restore the environment. She also emphasized that the Family Federation must proceed in spirit and truth.
Then True Mother asked us whether there is spirit and truth in our churches. And asked if there is grace and love in our church. She also asked if there is a true spiritual resurrection within our church.
Wow! She is seriously asking us (about these).
True Mother asked if our church is currently not in the state of developing and growing, or that it is just in a state of stagnation. True Mother was accurately reading the reality of our church.
6. That is why we must strengthen Cheonshim Won prayer session. You must live a life of heaven while experiencing spirit and truth on your own through prayer and sincere devotion. Love is more important than anything else.
7. Heavenly Parent was the One who has raised me, the only Begotten Daughter, until now. God gave birth to the only Begotten Daughter to see the completion of Heaven’s providence.
8. No one can know how heart-wrenching and sorrowful the circumstances I had to overcome until now. Overcoming all of those was possible because of Heavenly Parent’s love. (True Mother cries)
True Mother emphasized the need to strengthen the Cheonshimwon Prayer Session in order to become a church of the Holy Spirit. She said that we must live the life of heaven while experiencing the spirit and the truth for ourselves through prayer and sincerity.
If you look at True Father's words, he said that the Holy spirit among Holy spirits is love. He said that a spirit without love is like a spiritual phenomenon, coming and disappearing like the wind. The spirit of the spirits is the spirit of love.
Holy Spirit means true love.
True Mother cried for a long time when she told us that no one could know how amazing and difficult the circumstances that she had to overcome until now (were).
As I watched True Mother's tears and reflected on how disrespectful I had been to True Mother, I also made a new resolution.
Can you imagine True Mother’s suffering since Father passed away? Father really carried all responsibility before he went to the spiritual world. Mother did not expect that True Father would pass away so quickly.
Since he passed away, Mother as a woman had to be responsible for everything. Not just all humankind, but what direction the Unification Movement (would take). She needed to liberate God’s heart, his han, his sorrow. She needed to liberate all the spirits in the spiritual world and to substantiate Cheon Il Guk. She needed to declare Cheon Il Guk. Can you imagine that?
One by one her children ran away and betrayed Mother. Even elder Unification Church leaders criticized her leadership. She was alone. She had to carry on True Parents’ mission. We cannot imagine her incredible stress and suffering!
We just follow True Parents. Okay. But as a woman True Mother had to be responsible for everything. We really need to understand Mother’s han and sorrow. We need to thank our True Mother. She overcame and became very strong. She is dealing with the Unification Movement very well.
Her first wish was to declare the Cheon Il Guk on the earth. She declared it, and Cheon Il Guk has already begun.
Her second wish has been to dedicate the Cheon Il Temple. (Now) she has dedicated it. That is why we need to deeply appreciate (her).
When Mother offered the Cheon Il Temple she cried and cried: “Heavenly God, how long you waited for this day. Now I am standing in front of you, Heavenly God. I am dedicating this Cheon Il Temple.” She was overwhelmed and cried and cried. Who really understands Mother’s deepest heart?
9. I had no choice but to endure and wait for God’s dream to be realized. Who proclaimed Cheon Il Guk after True Father went to the spirit world? It was very difficult to handle everything and proclaim Cheon Il Guk when True Father was not present. However, I proclaimed Cheon Il Guk with everything in place.
10. Until now, I have created the environment in which the temple of Cheon Il Guk could be built. I single-handedly pioneered the path in progressing the internal providence. From now on, we need to focus on national restoration. All those in charge need to let everything go and make a new start.
True Mother said that from now on, she will focus on national restoration with all her heart, with all her mind, with all her strength. How often she has spoken about national restoration! She made a big personnel change, saying that all the people who were in charge should give up their positions and make a fresh start.
Rev. Song Yong-chun, former president of the continental Japan was appointed the president of the World Families Federation. And Dr. Yang Chang-sik, a former continental president of the United States, was appointed as the world UPF chairman. And Rev. Song Kwang-seok was appointed as the president of the Korea Association.
This is a huge change. True Mother has a strong determination. Based on dedicating the Cheon Il Temple, now our final goal is to offer one nation, one sovereignty, one people for Heavenly God.
11. From now on, the World Mission Headquarters should have Family Federation at its center. All denominations can join when we go out with the name “Family Federation.” The Unification Church perfects the true family through the Blessing.
12. UPF must create the environment to give the Blessing centering on Family Federation in order to restore the 8 billion people of the world. From now on, you must bring internal results. Our blessed families need to become one and restore the nation, restore the continent, and restore the world.
True Mother said that in order to restore 8 billion people, the Family Federation should focus on blessing many people and converting them into church members, and UPF should create an environmental sphere to educate people in the political, business, and religious worlds in the Divine Principle.
And True Mother emphasized that now is the time to bring results internally. That word really tells us to witness and increase the number of members. Until now, the United States has focused on witnessing activities, but we must realize the importance of national restoration that True Mother said and move forward with more determination than before.
13. Korea, the birthplace of faith, must become the center and unite as Heavenly Unified Korea. It cannot be done with political ideologies. It must become North and South Korea that attend True Parents. We have to let North and South Korea know that they are brothers. We need to make the Korean people realize how True Parents have educated them to unite the South and the North.
14. In the future, Divine Principal education will be important, too, but people need to know True Parent’s life. Education that is one with True Parents is necessary. You need to educate about True Parent’s life. Family Federation activities have been lacking a lot until now. Each leader must take on a city and focus on the goal of national restoration. We must restore the nation before 2027. (end)
Finally, True Mother said, “Education in the Divine Principle is important, but we must educate on the life and life course of True Parents. We need education to unite with True Parents. You must educate (about) the life of True Parents.”
From now on, after the Divine Principle education, we must have time to introduce True Parents' journey and achievements in their lives without fail. So, I will continue to hold Unified Leadership Seminars for each district. We must educate many peace ambassadors in the Principle so that they can fulfill the role of John the Baptist.
True Mother said that each person in charge should take charge of one city and focus on national restoration. Until the year 2027, she kept emphasizing the need of national restoration and offering it up to Heaven.
Do you know what I reflected on the most? This is my personal reflection after watching the dedication ceremonies of the Cheon Won Gung and Cheon Il Temple.
Watching True Mother dedicate the Cheonil Sanctuary this time, I reflected a lot. And I made up my mind. First, how can I offer my personal Cheonil Sanctuary on an individual level? In the words of 1 Corinthians 3:16 of the Bible, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”
Have you become a temple of God? If we do not unify our bodies and minds, we cannot become God's temple, and we cannot offer our individual Cheonil Temple, our individual Cheonil Sanctuary.
Mother offered the cosmic-level Cheonil Temple symbolically, but what does Heavenly Father want? What is important? As a human being and as a child of God, can we offer our person Cheonil Temple on an individual level? My standard has not yet reached that level. Even though True Mother offered (the temple) beautifully as a cosmic-level condition, “Heavenly God, what do you want? What should I offer to you?” What is God’s real wish for me?
When I looked at the Cheonil Temple, the Cheon Won Gung, I really resolved to offer my personal Cheonil Temple, my personal Cheonil Sanctuary on an individual level.
Second, at the family level, how (can we) dedicate the Cheonil Sanctuary in our families? In order for our family to offer the family Cheonil Sanctuary, husband and wife must really become one. Parents and children must truly become one. And brothers and sisters must become one in the family. In that sense, I really deeply repented and reflected.
When Heavenly Father looks at my family, can he say, “Your family has really become the Cheon Il Temple as a family”? Can he recognize my family in this way? Can he really dwell in me as an individual, and can he dwell in my family? Or not?
Even though Mother offered such a beautiful temple, my individual truth is more important than anything else. My family is more important than anything else. “Oh, True Mother did a great job. It is a beautiful temple, a beautiful sanctuary!” But what are God’s wishes for me, for my family? God has asked me to become a temple of God, a temple of the Cheonil Sanctuary. We need to become a family Cheonil Temple. I did not reach that level yet. “Heavenly God, this is really your inner desire, but I could not reach that level.”
Thirdly, we need to know how to dedicate the tribal Cheonil Sanctuary at the tribal level. To dedicate the tribal Cheonil Sanctuary, you must complete the HTM (Shinjongme) mission. Has your tribe really become God's Cheon Il Sanctuary? In that sense, everyone must complete the HTM mission and register in Cheonbowon.
My goodness! True Mother has already conditionally offered (this). We need to substantialize it.
... or am I myself more precious? Human value is more important than anything else.
Fourth, how to dedicate the national Cheonil Sanctuary at the national level. We do not yet have a substantial country of God. However, all external conditions were met. We have God, True Parents, the Principle, and ... salvation which is the Blessing. The problem is that there are no people who can achieve Cheon Il Guk. We have everything, so what is lacking? We do not have people.
What should I do for this job? Mother said, “The answer is witnessing.”
We can never achieve Cheon Il Guk unless we secure a majority through witnessing. We don’t have a majority. Even though God is helping us, even though we know that True Parents are the messiah, even though we have the Divine Principle, (even though) we have the tools to save people through the Blessing, we don’t have people. How can we achieve Cheon Il Guk? That is why we need to secure the majority through witnessing.
So how do we get the majority? Why have we not been able to secure a majority so far? What is the main reason? Why did True Mother cry so much? When I see Mother’s tears, I struggle so much! Why am I making my mother cry? What is the main reason? Of course, we don’t have (sufficient) numbers; we have no majority. That is why she is crying.
But what is the more internal reason? Why is Mother crying?
Why can't I witness? It is not a problem with our goals, vision or system. Our vision and goal is very clear: to establish Cheon Il Guk. Let’s go! Until 2027 our vision and goal are very clear. So what is wrong? What is our main problem?
For the majority, quality is more important than quantity to achieve outward goals. It is quality that determines quantity. If the quality is good, the quantity will surely increase.
No matter how much we have God, True Parents, principles, and blessings, if the quality of our love, the quality our faith, the quality our filial piety, the quality our heart, and the quality our sincerity do not change, the quantity will never increase and the majority secured. The fact is you can't. So we really need to reflect on that.
Even though Mother has changed personnel, the leadership, this and that, what is Mother worried about internally? She is trying (through) changing the leadership and the system, but she knows that is not the main reason (we have not) secured (the majority).
We are to see how much we have changed after knowing the will of God and True Parents. Because we ourselves do not change, our spouse does not change. Because we ourselves do not change, our children do not change and go out into the world. Our church cannot grow because we do not change.
No matter how much the system changes, it means nothing if people don't change. Now we know what True Mother's wish is. The conclusion is majority secured. and national restoration. What should I do then?
I must completely change. I must be the temple of God. And my family must become the temple of God. God must dwell in me, in my family, in my tribe. My family, tribe and nation must become the Cheonil Sanctuary.
(Consider) True Mother’s tears, how desperate she is! Do we have the same desperation as Mother? Do we have that kind of filial heart toward True Mother? How serious are we about national restoration? ... We just have a few years left until 2027; what shall we do? Of course, we need to increase the membership and we need to secure the majority, but the most important thing is how much we have changed? Am I correct or not?
I do not want to make our True Mother cry. I am really an unfilial son.
And then as a nation, how serious are we about ... issues?
It is not only about goal, goal, goal, vision, vision, vision. That’s fine, but we need to deeply reflect about this. Otherwise in a few years, or after ten or twenty years, it will still be the same as before.
If we really reflect on this and on True Mother’s situation, everybody let’s become filial sons and daughters.

(Response to sharing) No one can (beat?) Jeongseong. This time I realized that.
It is not easy to have True Mother meet GPA members, but she did come down to meet them. I feel that with total unity, heart and devotion that utmost sincerity moves heaven.
This time America did a great job! Number One! We also offered an incredible donation: six million dollars. Christian ministers made an offering, our GPA offered $120,000. Also, (America offered) a beautiful gift and painting. Our GPA members attended. There were so many things. I really appreciate all our American members, how you are (investing such) effort and jeongseong! True Mother was really moved by our American brothers and sisters’ effort and jeongseong.
Let’s really unite together. Let’s really accomplish True Mother’s dream as our own dream.♦
