· Therefore, we must challenge ourselves again and again and keep going forward.
· If you give up in the process of fighting, it will necessarily lead to a negative result. Therefore, never give up the fight.
· Then you can win in the conflict between good and evil.
· It is not easy to educate our children. It is the most difficult task.
· If a parent just raises them by nagging a lot and teaches them in a commanding way, the children’s stubbornness will grow stronger.
· Sometimes showing them how much we care for them by shedding tears when they are stubborn and disobedient, they feel your sorrow and change their attitude.
· Rather than scolding and chastising young children, we need to invoke their compassion and sensitivity to others’ pain and sorrow.
· Also, you have to think that children do not belong to you. Your children belong to God.
· So you are the one raising up God’s children.
· Sometimes you need to kneel down and pray: ‘Heavenly Father, this child is your child. As a fallen man and a fallen parent, I do not know how to educate them, how to make them happy. I need to ask you, what to do with them? Give me some hint how to raise them very well.’
· If we do not educate our children as our own children but as God’s children, if we beg God for wisdom, He will teach us
· That’s why when you kneel down and sincerely ask what to do, how to do it, sometimes 30 minutes, 1 hour, even 2 hours with prayer, God will surely give you an answer.

Today I’d like to talk about “God’s Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World II, from True Mother’s Anthology 2”.

God’s Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World II
It is through the marriage Blessing. The marriage Blessing offers the grace of being grafted onto the true olive tree. It was instituted by the True Parents, who bring God's true lineage to humankind. Once you change your lineage to God’s lineage, your offspring will belong to God's lineage naturally. The grace of the marriage Blessing includes three stages: rebirth, resurrection and eternal life. Once you receive the True Parents' marriage Blessing, you can give birth to pure,
sinless offspring and build an ideal family. The best way to receive the marriage Blessing is with someone from another race, nationality or religion.
We call this a cross-cultural marriage Blessing. These marriages contribute to the enormous task of transcending the barriers of race, culture, nationality, ethnicity and religion, and to creating one family of humankind. In God's sight, skin color makes no difference. God does not recognize national borders. God does not stand behind the barriers of religion and culture. Such things are nothing more than the Devil's tricks. The Devil has used them to rule over humanity as a false parent for tens of thousands of years. You have the mission to teach the members of your families and clans that the cross-cultural marriage Blessing is the ultimate means to establish a peaceful, ideal world here on earth. Your families and clans should all join the holy ranks of those blessed through cross-cultural marriage.
What is the way to fundamentally create a world of peace? The first is changing the blood lineage. To change the blood lineage, you must receive the marriage Blessing through the True Parents, who came with the true blood lineage of Heaven. That offers fallen people, who are the wild olive trees, the grace of being grafted onto the True Parents, who came as the true olive tree.
In a word, the providence of restoration is changing the false blood lineage into the true blood lineage. This is because you cannot change your offspring without changing the blood lineage. The second best way to create a world of peace is by receiving the marriage Blessing with someone from another race, nationality or religion.
In God's sight, skin color makes no difference. God does not recognize national borders. God does not stand behind the barriers of religion and culture.
You have the mission to teach the members of your families and clans that the cross-cultural marriage Blessing is the ultimate means to establish a peaceful, ideal world here on earth.
Externally, this cross-cultural marriage Blessing is creating one family under God by overcoming the barriers of race, culture national borders, and religion. However, internally, it is crossing and interchanging from Satan’s false blood lineage to True Parents’ true blood lineage.

· Third, examining trends in the history of conflict.
· Battles over people, territory and property have continued without interruption, expanding their scope in step with the progress of human society.
· The scale of these struggles has broadened from the family level to the levels of tribe, society, nation and world until today, when the democratic world and the communist world confront each other in a final conflict.
· This final war will primarily be a war of ideologies. Hence, the new truth which can reconcile religion and science will emerge and bring about the unification of the communist and democratic worlds.
The History of Conflict between Cain and Abel That We Must Win
<40-232> An individual’s mind and body are to make a perfect relationship with each other. Then, such individuals are engaged as man and woman to form a family, and that family interrelates with other families in the relationship of Cain and Abel. In this process, the history of conflict between Cain and Abel inevitably happens. Just as mind and body conflict with each other within the self-same individual, the conflict inevitably happens in the family as well.
Originally, a man and woman of perfect character can understand God’s Will, and no matter what happens they become one in heart with each other centered on the Will. However, those who can’t do that inevitably struggle.
If a husband and wife become one and stand before their tribe in the position of an Abel-type family, they can’t avoid conflict with a Cain-type family. Of course, conflict wastes energy, but once they overcome this, they can find joy and value more than the energy they have lost. However, if they can’t do that, they can’t go forward anymore, even though they have a good ideology.
Just as fallen man’s mind and body are bound to be in conflict when they are self-centered, even in relationships in the family, the history of conflict between Cain and Abel will arise between fallen husband and wife.
Conflict and struggle exist wherever we go. Therefore, faith is to overcome them all the time. Faith means overcoming. And we must challenge ourselves again and again and keep going forward.
In the fight centered on myself, the victory depends on the relationship of subject partner and object partner. However, because of the human Fall, the relationship of subject partner and object partner became contradictory, not corresponsive. So I must necessarily win in the contradictory relationship.
If you give up in the process of fighting, it will necessarily lead to a negative result. Therefore, never give up during the fight. Let’s say that you started to fight expecting it would be over in 3 years. But if you couldn’t finish the fight in 3 years, you must continue to fight to the end. If you stop and retreat in the middle of the fight, you will be bound to fail. You must fight to the end by all means. This is the way you must go.
What is my victory or failure dependent on? It depends on the relationship of the subject partner and object partner. However, because of the human Fall, the relationship of subject partner and object partner became contradictory, not corresponsive.
So I must necessarily win in the contradictory relationship. If you give up in the process of fighting, it will necessarily lead to a negative result. Therefore, never ever give up during the fight. Even though it takes time, do not give up. Satan asks you to always give up. As long as we do not give up and continue fighting with Satan, and it takes more time, at the end we finally will win. We must continue to fight until we win. You need to have that kind of strong determination.
The most fearful thing is giving up in the middle of the fight. Even if it takes 3 year or 10 years or your entire life, you must take the challenge to the end or, if on the way you retreat, you will be bound to fail. You say, oh my children are like this or that, my children marry outside people, etc. So you give them whatever they want, let them live how they want. Don’t do that. If you give up, if you let them just go where they will by themselves, then you are a failure Satan loves that kind of concept and attitude. Without giving up, continuously pray and do jeongseong. “Okay Satan, you win or I win”. Never give up until the end. You need to have that kind of mindset and that kind of faith. You need to continuously fight until the end, until you win. And finally you will win, and your children will come back and receive the Blessing. If you stop and give up in the middle of the fight, then Satan says I am the winner, you are a failure. Satan will accuse like that. Faith is overcoming and challenging, and you will win and your children will come back again. Therefore, know that faith is overcoming and challenging.
What is Faith?
1. Faith is overcoming.
2. Faith is challenging.
3. Faith is to create something from out of nothing.
§ How, then, do we create something from out of nothing? If we move God’s heart, we can create something from out of nothing.
§ Faith is to make the impossible possible.
§ Nothing is impossible with God.
§ Philip 4:13, “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” - We have no doubts that we can do everything through True Parents who give strength to blessed families, the tribal messiahs.
1. First, what is faith? First, True Father emphasized that faith is overcoming. No matter how big the problem and no matter what difficulties there are, faith is about overcoming. Then how is overcoming possible? Have faith that we can overcome any problem as long as God is alive and working. To say that we cannot overcome whenever we have many worries and difficulties in our life of faith means that we do not believe that God is living and working. If you truly believe that God is a living God, you can overcome any difficulties, any problems, that is the faith. Faith means overcoming.
2. Secondly, True Father said that faith is challenging. In order for us to overcome the evil world and expand the good world, we need endless challenges. If we did not challenge, we will just end up settling with reality, and we cannot advance the providence of restoration. We believe in God and take on challenges. Faith is believing that God is living and working, challenging seemingly impossible goals and accomplishing them to testify of the living and working God.
So faith is challenging. God is our Father. We are a child of God. If we truly believe God is our father, our sponsor, then we can challenge. If there is no God, there is no guarantee. But I am telling you, God is a living God. As long as this is God’s Providence, as long as we are doing God’s will, He will help us. Our wish is God’s wish. As long as we can confirm it is God’s vision, with that faith we can challenge and go up to a different dimension, up another level. Then challenge again and overcome and go up yet another level. That’s why you need to know that faith is overcoming. Our life of faith can grow up. Those who don’t want to challenge, and settle for ‘reality’, their spirit will surely die. That’s why you need to know that Father is always saying faith is overcoming, faith is challenging. That’s why, for me I don’t care for money or external power. Whenever I decide to do something, I always confirm that it is God’s will or not. If I have confidence that it is God’s will, and put in my jeongseong, if I believe that God is my sponsor, then I can challenge, even with no money or power. So far it really works.
3. Thirdly, faith is to create something from out of nothing. Even if nothing is seen in front of our eyes and there is nothing to grasp in our hands, if we go on believing in /the invisible God, we will create something from out of nothing. This is faith.
▪ How, then, do we create something from out of nothing? It is to challenge with the spirit of “utmost sincerity will move heaven.” There is nothing that we cannot overcome with the power of jeongseong (utmost sincere devotion).
» If we move Heaven with our jeongseong, we can create something from out of nothing.
» So, we blessed families should set the following slogan and try to challenge ourselves: “Move Heaven. Move god’s heart through my jeongseong. Then the almighty and all-knowing God will make everything possible.”
» Then how do we move Heaven? Moving Heaven is not done by money or power or position. Only our filial heart, passion, and jeongseong centered on True Parents who promise to achieve one nation can move Heaven. If we live with God’s heart, we can create things out of nothing. We change our family, our church, our nation’s history. That is faith.
» Therefore, Faith is to make the impossible possible by jeongseong. Nothing is impossible with God.
▪ Philip 4:13, “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” - We have no doubts that we can do everything through True Parents who give strength to blessed families, the tribal messiahs.
Therefore, the faith is to make “Impossible” into “Possible”. The Bible says that there is nothing impossible in Him. How can we, as the Heavenly Tribal Messiahs who are empowered by our True Parents not possibly bring success? Do you believe in that? Make something out of nothing.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY:
Children Who Do Not Know Their Parents’ Wishes Become More Self-Centered
1. If the mother has finished preparing a meal, but the children do not come but do their own thing, the children grow up and become more and more stubborn. This is because everything is self-centered for such children. As they become older, children who grow up like that will not obey their parents. They do not know their parents’ wishes and will just enjoy hobbies centered on themselves and spend their time as they please. Then, their stubbornness gradually gets stronger. Mothers will not be able to guide children who grow up like that. They do not listen to their parents at all. They must know their mother’s wishes and intentions from a young age and act accordingly to become a filial child. The Fall is acting in one’s own will. You must know this well and straighten children out so that they grow upright without missing the right time.
How to Educate Children from the Perspective of Pure Obedience
1. If you think of yourself as Heavenly Father's and sincerely believe it, your heart will be evoked spontaneously. Reluctantly following orders is not obedience. Listening to orders and doing them is something that can't be helped. My original mind is not very happy when I hear an order. Therefore, even when we raise our children, we shouldn't do so by giving commands. When raising children, you must help them to do things willingly. It is the role of parents to let their children know the heart of their parents and willingly do things on their own. When children serve their parents from the heart, it is true obedience. However, those who follow orders dutifully and obeys without joy is a servant. A servant does something just because they are told to. One of the great attributes of pure obedience is joy. Therefore, if something is done with joy and willingness, it becomes perfect obedience.
Children’s Education Must Be Accompanied by Their Mother’s Tears
2. You should not just let children be, thinking that they do not know any better because they are young. It is not that children do not know any better. Even children sometimes know very well what makes their parents happy. That is why parents should educate them, keeping in mind how their children can grow up and act voluntarily from the heart. You need to guide children well so that they will act from the heart centering on the mother. To do that, the mother needs tears.
If children do not come even after the mother has set the table, this is self-centered behavior. If you see such behavior, the mother must persuade them with tears, “I cooked food for you all. It is my wish for you to have this meal together with me and the family. If you don’t eat, I will be sad to eat alone.”
How to Educate Children
3. On school days, even if the children are busy preparing to go to school, days like Sunday are a great day to have a heart-to-heart talk with your children. These days, days when the mother and children are together are hard to come by. That is why the mother should educate children on days like Sunday. “Aren’t you all happy to always live because of me? And I’m also happy when I live for you. Right?” In this way, you must teach them that family must live a family life for the sake of each other’s happiness. Children will know well if you teach them like this. If you teach them that you (the mother) feel distressed when the children do as they please and that you are also unhappy when you do as you please, then children will come to understand well. Since children are sensitive, they know right away.
We must try to study how children can act voluntarily and joyfully from the heart. To do that, we need to ask God for wisdom so that our children can obey God with joy.
Everybody faces the issue of how to raise and educate children. You have to think that children do not belong to you. Your children belong to God. So you are the one raising up God’s children. Sometimes you have no idea how to educate them. That’s why sometimes you need to kneel down and pray: Heavenly Father, this child is your child. As a fallen man and a fallen parent, I do not know how to educate them, how to make them happy. I need to ask you, what to do with them. Give me some hint how to raise them very well. Parents really worry about their children, but they don’t get advice from heaven, don’t discuss it with Heaven, that’s the problem. God is the main one who knows how to raise his own children. It is God’s homework as well. That’s why when you kneel down and sincerely ask what to do, how to do it, sometimes 30 minutes, 1 hour, even 2 hours with prayer, God will surely give you an answer. That is my own experience.
Since we do not educate our children as our own children but as God’s children, if we beg God for wisdom, He will teach us.
This is because even God has extreme interest in educating children. In educating children, we cannot just be worried that children do not listen to us. When we raise children, we need to raise them by always asking God and discussing with God. We need to kneel down and pray.
In order to beg for wisdom to raise our children well as God’s sons and daughters, we need to cling onto Heaven and beg. And then we need to plead to God with tears, asking Him to teach us wisdom and methods.
How could God not listen if we empty my heart and desperately plead to Heaven to raise our children as God’s children? If the mother just raises them by nagging a lot and teaches them in commanding way, the children’s stubbornness will grow stronger, and they will not listen to their mother. That’s why living in a humanistic way, not loving God, children become very horizontal. They seldom listen to their parents’ opinions.
As children with strong stubbornness become older, they will not obey their parents. They do not know their parents’ wishes and will just enjoy hobbies centered on themselves and spend their time as they please. Then, their stubbornness gradually gets stronger and stronger.
The Fall is acting in one’s own will. Adam and Eve were so stubborn. They did not listen to God’s commandment. Once children start acting as they please, they start to gradually leave their parent’s side. You must know this well and straighten children out so that they grow upright without missing the right time.
You should not just let children be, thinking that they do not know any better because they are young. It is not that children do not know any better. If children do not listen to their mother well, the mother should educate them, even by shedding tears. And the mother must always think and pray about how to teach her children. When the mother teaches while shedding tears, her children become solemn and listen to her.
When I was young, maybe in elementary school, maybe 12 or 13 years old, I fought with my brother. My brother hit me and we were fighting, and I did not listen to what my mother was telling me. My mother didn’t know Divine principle at all. My mother called my older brother and me and in front of us she cried and cried. Why do you fight with each other, why don’t you listen to me? I saw my mother’s tears. And I did not want to see my mother cry again. I didn’t want to fight any more with by brother. It was a great turning point to me. My mother’s tears changed my life, changed my attitude to my brother. Because of my mother’s tears. A live changing experience for me.
On school days, children are busy preparing to go to school. Days like Sunday are a great day to have a heart-to-heart talk with your children. These days, days when the mother and children are together are hard to come by.

I change my heart, when I see True Father’s tears, when he talks about God’s sorrow. It changes my life. I see True Mother’s tears. I change my attitude. How can I let my True Mother cry? How can I let my True Father cry? That’s why mothers’ tears, parent’s tears are very important. When you teach them sincerely, centering on God’s wish, your children will be changed.
If you teach them that you (the mother) feel distressed when the children do as they please and that you are also unhappy when you do as you please, then children will come to understand well. Since children are so sensitive, they know right away.
It is not easy to educate our children. It is the most difficult task. For me, I have three children and five grandchildren. They live very joyfully, very happily, attending Hoondok Hae well, but they still have a long way to go. I still struggle sometimes, to be honest with you. But still I am trying. If I stayed with my family every day I would have opportunities to have a more heartistic relationship. I only get to visit my home maybe twice or three times a year. Just a very short time, so not easy to handle. My wife has to bear all the cross. I feel so sorry about that. I know it is not easy to educated our children. I understand now. However, let’s learn to live from with True Father’s advice. Kneel down and pray. We need to get vision from Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
