Today, I would like to speak with the title “Heavenly Latin America Blooms Flowers of Hope” from the contents of True Mother’s memoir.
The Summit concluded with the inauguration of the Latin America chapter of the International Summit Council for Peace. Universal Peace Federation International President Dr. Thomas Walsh introduced the purpose of the Council to serve as a forum in which heads of state and government, both current and former, can combine their unique expertise in addressing the most serious challenges to the realization of peace in our time. Four former presidents, their Excellencies Anthony Carmona of Trinidad and Tobago, Rosalía Arteaga of Ecuador, Jocelerme Privert of Haiti, and Jaime Paz Zamora of Bolivia, delivered speeches expressing their strong support. Former US Representative Dan Burton, co-chairman of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP), officially proposed the initiative, and all current and former heads of state in attendance rose to affix their signatures.
After the conclusion of the Summit, its participants joined a crowd of 12,000 for the Family Peace Festival at the Gran Arena Del Cibao. The highlight of this beautiful event was the Blessing Ceremony of 6,000 couples. President Morales opened the ceremony, and my daughter and son-in-law, Moon Sun-jin and Park In-sup, officiated. The Dominican Republic Municipal Police co-sponsored this Family Peace Festival, and the families and friends of 4,000 city police and 600 national police came to uphold the ideal of “one family of humanity under our Heavenly Parent.” In-sup and Sun-jin awarded prizes to 10 representatives of those stalwart citizens.
The Rally of Hope in the Dominican Republic succeeded due to the devotion of leaders and members throughout Latin America who pressed forward in a difficult environment. They brought the flower of hope to blossom in Heavenly Latin America, and I am confident that this flower will multiply blessings long into the future.
Continuing from yesterday, I will add and report on the 2019 Latin America and Caribbean Summit.
This picture shows key leaders attending the 2019 Latin America and Caribbean Summit. About 500 leaders, including former and current leaders, including Dominican senators, governors, and mayors, attended. In particular, President Jimmy Morales of Guatemala showed his passion for participating in our event as he took a commercial flight due to the breakdown of his presidential plane. The president put off the summit with President Trump and attended all four of our major events, including our summit and blessing ceremony, leaving a historic event in Latin America’s history of movements.
It was really, really great. I have never seen that kind of person. Wow! He had such strong commitment! I think he has an inseparable relationship with Chang Sik Yang. I think public relations is about relationship. He trusts our movement so much. I really appreciate his effort and contribution, and also our Dr. Yang’s great effort and jeongseong.
This is how Governor of Santiago Hon. Ana Maria Dominguez, who was representing Danilo Medina, president of the Dominican Republic, appeared together with us after delivering the presidential message at the summit and the blessing ceremony.
This is the scene of the Family Peace Festival. 12,000 people, including former and current leaders, 4,000 Dominican local police and 600 Dominican national police attended the summit.
I really appreciate all the Latin American leadership, Rev. Kim, Dr. Chang Sik Yang and many members and staff for your great contribution.
Living Divine Principle: The Dual Characteristics of God and the Created Universe
• Let us begin by pointing out the common elements which are found universally throughout the natural world.
• Every entity possesses dual characteristics of yang positivity, masculinity) and yin (negativity, femininity) and comes into existence only when these characteristics have formed reciprocal relationships, both within the entity and between it and other entities.
• For example, subatomic particles, the basic building blocks of all matter, possess either a positive charge, a negative charge or a neutral charge formed by the neutralization of positive and negative constituents. When particles join with each other through the reciprocal relationships of their dual characteristics, they form an atom.
• Plants propagate by means of stamen and pistil. Animals multiply and maintain their species through the relationship between male and female.
• As for human beings, God created Adam, a man, and Eve, his female counterpart.
• Thus, we can understand that every entity requires for its existence a reciprocal relationship between the characteristics of yang and yin.
• Even though atoms become positive or negative ions after ionization, each still consists of a positive nucleus and negative electrons in stable unity. Similarly, each animal, whether male or female, maintains its life through the reciprocal relationships of yang and yin elements within itself. The same holds true for every plant (stamen and pistil).
• In people, a feminine nature is found latent in men and a masculine nature is found latent in women.

Love Is Absolutely Essential to God and Human Beings
<279-246> The Fall of Adam and Eve originates in their going against the iron rule: their sexual organs did not belong to themselves. Think about it. Would God drive Adam and Eve away just because they ate a literal fruit? God is not such a senseless being. He chased them out because they made a fundamental error and therefore could not be acknowledged anywhere in the universe. Adam and Eve did not understand that the males and females in the mineral, plant, and animal worlds reserve their sexual organs for the sake of their partner in love.
Wow! Beautiful! If God's most beloved children in the Garden of Eden were chased out just because they ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, then who can trust such a God? The event of Adam and Eve chased out from the Garden of Eden is not just a fairy tale from an old story.
God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden because they violated the great moral principle of heaven and earth. This was because they committed a crime that no one could forgive. The Fall of fornication means that the lineage, life, and love had been turned upside down. How can we let them stay in the royal palace when the lineage of God’s royal family was changed to the lineage of servant, thus dirtying the lineage in one day?
The sexual organs of men and women are the royal palace of true love, the royal palace of true lineage, and the royal palace of true life where God and humans coexist forever. Therefore, if this holy place is defiled, God Himself is contaminated, so He had no choice but to send humans out of the Garden of Eden in order to separate them. In this sense, the sexual organs of men and women are the holiest temples that must be absolutely protected no matter what.
Our emphasis on holiness means to first make our hearts holy and externally keep our sexual organs holy. Do your sexual organs maintain holiness? Or are they not able to?
Always we say, “Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy!” If we do not keep our sexual purity, how can we say “Holy! Holy!”? We cannot simply praise God as a God of holiness. The important thing is that I have to be holy. I have to become a holy man and a holy woman. In order to become a holy man and a holy woman, we have to keep absolute sexual purity. As long as our sexual organs keep their purity, we have dignity. We keep our holiness. This is very, very important. Heavenly Parent wanted to see his own children become a holy son and holy daughter, like holy God. But we lost our holy temple. When we learn about pure characteristics, male and female, the proper relationship between man and woman, it is really important how to keep holiness between female and male. Father talks about this issue here.
Who is the owner of love? It is not man or woman. It is God Himself. God and human beings can become one only by centering on love; only through love. This is because love is absolutely essential to God and human beings.
What kind of love does God really need? He wants absolute love. It is the same for us. Just as God needs absolute love, unique love, unchanging love, and eternal love, we human beings also need absolute, unique, unchanging, and eternal love.
Father asked, “So who is the owner of our sexual organ of love?”
First, it belongs to God. This is because God is the creator of human love.
Second, it belongs to the partner. The husband’s sexual organ belongs to the wife and the wife's belongs to the husband. It is the fall to think of your sexual organs as your own. It is holy to treat your sexual organ as belonging to God and your partner.
Third, it belongs to my descendants. This is because the sexual organs of a couple become the eternal hometown of our children and descendants.
Therefore, in the place where the couple becomes sexually united, God participates, the couple participates, and the seed of the baby, that becomes a future child, participates.
That is why the sexual organ is the common place: God participates; husband and wife are participating; and the seed of the baby is participating. That is why our baby is so precious -- because of the same participation.
We should all resemble God. God has yang and yin, male and female characteristics and therefore, human beings, God’s substantial object partner, were created as man and woman. When they marry as His substance, they become yang and yin in place of God. In this way, it is God’s Will for God’s vertical love and horizontal love to become completely united through marriage.
Amazing guidance! Human marriage is when a man who resembles God's yang and a woman who resembles God's yin meet substantially.
As a result, the intangible, vertical God becomes a horizontal and substantial God. This was the will of God. Adam and Eve were visible and substantial Gods.
<279-250> Who will become God’s partner in love? Will this be a man by himself? Will a woman alone be His partner? What kind of partner would God want? Would it be money as a partner, knowledge as a partner, or power as a partner? No! Because God wants a partner of love, He meets human beings by being present at the place where a husband and wife unite through their sexual organs.
<279-250> Why is that the place to become one centered on God? It is because love is absolute, and man and woman absolutely want to become one in that place. Horizontally speaking, man as yang and woman as yin approach the center, and God’s male yang and female yin characteristics also unite, thereby becoming the union of yang and yin on a larger scale. The problem lies in when this will be accomplished.
God's positive and negative manifested as men and women with a human body. Therefore, men and women must give and receive love as substantial partners of God's love.
Then, when and where does God's positive and negative become substantially one? It is where a couple becomes one in love through a sexual life.
Therefore, God is bound to be in the place where couples become sexually united. The actual meeting place with God is where the couple becomes one with love.
Couples who do not have a smooth sexual life are not inviting God. Couples who do not invite God into their sex life do not last long and eventually have conflict. Even if (such) a couple is together, they live experiencing hell.
The relationships between husband and wife, sexual life -- do not just think they are physical. When men and women make love, that is the place to invite God. Very, very important. If you just only have physical and horizontal give and take with your spouse, definitely you can feel a limitation and have conflict. If we have give and take very well and respect our spouse as God’s representative, then sexual love becomes very, very holy. You can feel incredible joy and happiness. But if you focus only on external sexual happy desire, then you cannot love. Sometimes it does not work well. Then a husband and wife’s sexual love becomes like hell.
True Father said that even when a couple gets older, if they have sex with the heart of inviting God, the couple lives a more beautiful and long life. If any couple's sexual life is not smooth, there is a limit to God’s visiting the couple.
Don't think about having sex to fulfill my own desires. Think that you live a sexual life as a couple because you want to invite God. Therefore, think that God's wish is there (present) when my sexual desire rises. And when the other person wants sexual love, don’t think that the other person wants it, but that God wants it.
This attitude is important. “My wife wants to make love.” Then you need to think that God wants it. “My husband requests love.” Then you need to think that that is God’s wish, that God wants it. “Why does this guy want to make love again!” If you think in this horizontal way and reject your spouse’s request, then I am telling you, if you reject one time and two times and three times, if you only think in a horizontal way, think of horizontal sexual desire, then your relationship will definitely have problems. Surely you will feel hell.
That is why in order to keep a beautiful relationship between husband and wife, respect each other. You need to think that making love is not just to gain external happiness. To make love is to make God happy. It is for inviting God. That is why I need to treat my husband as God. I need to treat my wife as God. That is why whatever he wants, that is God’s wish. If they treat each other in such a way and make a relationship, that is a beautiful invitation and God surely can come down and feel happiness and joy together (with them).
<279-256> Let us discover the dividing line between heaven and hell. Would it be in midair? Where would it be? It lies in the sexual organs! This is a serious matter. The sexual organs have turned heaven and earth upside down. Who can deny this?
When I hear confessions from brothers and sisters, even (in) our blessed families, there are many kinds of confessions. Most men were rejected by the wife when the husband tried to make love. Most of the men feel a kind of hell, really, really hell. We always need to have good give and take between husband and wife. Men need to understand women’s nature very well, and women need to understand men’s nature very well.
No one knew that Heaven was entered through the gateway of the sexual organs. Therefore, the couple's sexual organs are the gates to Heaven. Very important! However, when a couple passes through each other's sexual organs centering on God, that place is heaven.
However, the road to the gate of heaven is a single road. It's only one path.
So, the road to Heaven’s gate is (pases through) a narrow door. It is a door that only couples can pass through together. Because this road is only one road, one man cannot take several women and one woman cannot take many men. The kingdom of heaven is only a one man and one woman system. The Kingdom of heaven is a system of pairs. The kingdom of heaven does not allow one man with several women and one woman with several men. The system of the kingdom of heaven is very clear: a pair system. It only allows one man and one woman. The structure of the kingdom of heaven is only a one man-one woman system. That is why if one man has several wives or one woman has several men, this is a really big problem.
I will share with you some interesting news. When Heung (Dae) Mo Nim came to Thailand and I spent time with her, we did the ancestor liberation ceremony and the blessing the next day. I asked her how she was, had she slept well that night? She said, “I could not sleep very well.” I asked, “Why?” She said, “Because when you see someone’s ancestors, you need to look for 430 generations. One man had several wives. I had to help them choose the best one, and one woman had several men. I needed to choose which one. It is really a headache for me. That is why for the whole night I could not sleep. The kingdom of heaven only allows one man and one woman system.” Amazing! Really amazing!
Be sure to remember True Father's words that if you have sexual intercourse with anyone other than your spouse, who has been permitted by heaven, that sexual organ becomes a gate through hell. Once again, if you have a sexual relationship without permission from God, and you have a sexual relationship with another woman, then your sexual organ becomes the gate to hell. Therefore, it is a fact that our sexual organs can be either the gates of heaven or the gates of hell.
Heaven only allows a pair system centered on one man and one woman. Therefore, absolute chastity is required between couples.
<279-259> Let’s become the vanguard who practice God’s true love. From now on, when returning home, the husband and wife should confirm that their sexual organs are absolute, unique, eternal and unchanging and proclaim that my sexual organ is not mine but yours, and that the sexual organ you preserved until now is mine. Then, pledge that you will live forever gratefully and for the sake of each other. God will forever reside in such a family. Centered on that family, a global family will be established.
God is absolute, eternal, unchanging and unique.
Therefore God’s love must also be absolute, eternal, unchanging and unique.
Therefore, the couple’s sexual organs should also resemble the attributes of God's love, making them absolute sexual organs, eternal sexual organs, unchanging sexual organs, and unique sexual organs. Unique sexual organs means never allowing two sexual organs. If I exchanged my sexual organ centered on God and only one partner, I would definitely go to heaven. However, using my sexual organs for another purpose is a problem.
That’s why my sexual organs have to become absolute and unchanging. Once I make it(?) no matter what, my love toward my spouse is eternal and unchanging, no matter what. And unique. I never allow any other woman or man (in). Wow! God’s nature is like that. God’s love is like that. So my sexual organs should be like that.
Today’s Youth Ministry: Why Humans Must Suffer and Be Tempted
1. So far, we have seen the suffering and temptations that the central figures of the providence of restoration have suffered only as their sufferings and temptations that they must endure. However, if we look more internally, we can see that the central figures in the providence of restoration were responsible for God's suffering.
2. We usually ask, 'Why do I suffer like this?' and we often think, "It's all because of my sins.”
3. However, as it turns out, we realize that suffering comes not only because of our sin, but also because of God's sorrow and pain. Since God's pain and sorrow came because of man, it is concluded that all the pain and sorrow that comes to man must be dealt with by man himself. This is because pain inflicted by the other person can only be resolved through that person.
God’s suffering comes through human beings. That’s why only human beings can comfort God’s heart, can release his pain, can liberate his pain. There is no other way.
4. When we were still immature in our faith, we thought that we set conditions because God told us to set conditions. In other words, we thought we were keeping the law of God. Then, as we grew up, we finally realized that the laws and conditions were created for our sake.
5. In the Age of Completion, which is the Age of Completed Testament, we learn that the most important thing is to inherit the heart and love of God. We also come to realize that it is difficult to inherit God’s heart without experiencing His sorrowful heart.
6. When our faith is young, we simply obey God's commandments and have conditional faith. “I offer sacrifices because God tells me to offer sacrifices.” “I offer offerings because God commands me to offer them.” We think we offer sacrifices because of God.
7. Why should we keep the Sabbath? “God tells me to keep the Sabbath day holy, so I keep it.” At that time, the Jews only understood that on this level, but they did not know that the Sabbath was, in fact, to be kept holy because of themselves.
8. Faith in the Completed Testament Age is not just about obeying God's instructions, but rather inheriting what belongs to the subject and becoming the owner. This is faith in the completion stage. The Sabbath is a holy day because it is God's day. Therefore, it must be kept holy. However, faith in the completion stage does not just keep it holy. It means that I become the holy temple of God and the holy master (owner). Therefore, it turns out that the reason why Heaven told me to keep the Sabbath holy was not to stop at the level of keeping the Sabbath, but to inherit holy God and become a holy man and a holy woman.
Why do we attend Sunday service? Why do we keep the sabbath holy? It is not just conditional, not just conceptual. What is the main purpose for keeping the sabbath holy? Because I have to be a holy man or woman. It is not just keeping it for God. I have to become a holy temple; I have to become a holy man or a holy woman. That is the main reason we need to keep the sabbath holy.
9. Beyond the Completed Testament Age, the Age of Cheon Il Guk is not just about following the Words and instructions of God and True Parents, but about inheriting all of that and becoming responsible on behalf of God and True Parents. In other words, it is telling you to become the owner of Cheon Il Guk.
10. From the standpoint of faith in the era of Cheon Il Guk, one can become a believer of Hyojeong by thinking, "All problems that come to me are the problems that Heavenly Parent is facing. Therefore, I have to take responsibility for all these things.”
11. Now, beyond the age of faith and belief, we must have faith that can bear the worries and cross of Heavenly Parent and True Parents. You must think “I will liberate God.” This is because only filial sons and daughters can bear the cross of parents.
12. It’s not about “I must be saved,” “I must be sanctified,” “I have to make atonement." This is growth-stage faith that separates good and evil, but completion-stage faith is a faith that becomes one with the subject -- which is God -- inherits, and becomes the owner.
13. Since the present era is the era of completion, it is necessary to quickly graduate from the formation and growth stages in the Era of Completion, enter the period of completion, and bear fruits.
14. Faith in the Completion stage is about taking over Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ work. And we must liberate Heavenly Parent and True Parents. To take responsibility means that I take responsibility not only for my own cross, but also for Heaven’s cross.
15. Conclusion: The reason why pain comes to us is that we have to take responsibility for the sorrow of Heavenly Parent. Otherwise, there is no way to clear God's sorrow. This is a very profound discovery. Parents' pain will not be resolved forever unless their children take responsibility for it.
16. Although Abraham made a mistake in offering the three sacrifices, he entered the position to complete the remainder of his responsibilities with great determination. He moved God by enduring and winning over the three great pains that came to him. So, God said, “From now on, I am your God.”
The reason why pain comes to us, we need to understand, (is that) I need to bear God’s cross, I need to bear True Parents’ cross. That is our responsibility as filial sons and daughters.
That is why every day I look at so many people on the street in New York City. Where are they going? What are they doing? I ask the question, “What are they doing? What do they think? Do they know the purpose of their lives?” I can see they are really suffering in pain. That is why any pain that comes to me from the environment, from the neighbor, from the family, from the nation, from all over the world, I need to treat that pain as “This is God’s suffering. This is God’s pain.” When I think of pain as God’s pain and God’s suffering, when I liberate that very well, that is the way I can be responsible for God’s cross, God’s suffering.
