We never know through whom or through what heavenly fortune comes. ♦ The first two times Noah sent out a dove represented the formation and growth stages when a person is growing to maturity. The third time Noah sent out a different dove signifying the completion stage and a new start when a young person who has reached maturity is married with heaven’s permission and starts a new life. Adam and Eve were not fully mature and joined together without heaven’s consent. When the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil reach maturity, heaven joins them as a Tree of Love. When they produce descendants they become the Tree of Blood Lineage. ♦
Yesterday I flew to Boise, Idaho, and prayed at the holy ground with David Balary(?) Ryan, District 13 leader, and with David Yoko Roberts, Idaho State leader. They came to the airport to welcome us. Wow! Idaho is a very beautiful place. Our state leader and district leader are both David. So we have a David providence! We had a beautiful gathering and prayed together at the holy ground. We took a group photo. Then we had a lunch meeting at the Grove Hotel where True Father spoke during the 50-state tour in 2001. It was a very beautiful environment. After lunch we flew to Missoula, Montana, and arrived here last night.

Dr. Yong: Today I would like to speak about “The Cape of Good Hope and righteous hyojeong - the human fall & ignorance.”
<Mother of Peace, Page 311-312> I have long had an interest in and compassion for Africa. The hardships of life in Africa must come to an end.
On the southern tip of the African continent lies the Cape of Good Hope. My husband and I chose that as the starting point of our proposed International Peace Highway. As the Mother of peace, I need to give hope to the people of Africa and wipe away their tears. At the Holy Wedding of True Parents in 1960, I pledged to God, “I will accomplish Your will in my lifetime,” and I have not forgotten this pledge for a moment. I have constantly spread God’s word from east to west and south to north with a heart of filial piety for Heaven. In 2012, after my husband’s ascension, I bade him farewell with the words “Please put all earthly work behind you and peacefully enter the heavenly gates to comfort our Heavenly Parent.”
From that time, despite having to push myself beyond my limits, I took on an exhausting agenda, traveling the globe to fulfill the promise I had made to Heaven and my husband. With my husband’s ascension, it was left to me to accomplish God’s desire and ideal, and I have embarked on a tearful journey for that cause. For the past seven years, I have journeyed on.
Creating a heavenly tribe, a heavenly nation and a heavenly world centered on God is not simple. In my resolve to restore seven countries by 2020, I spent countless hours in prayer and devotion. My late husband lived by the mantra that “sincere devotion moves heaven” and we felt the results. Many received inspiration from Heaven, including Dr. Yun Young-ho, then secretary-general of FFWPU International Headquarters. In July 2017, he received a revelation in which Father Moon gave him three golden keys.
True Mother said, “In 2012, after my husband’s ascension, I bade him farewell with the words ‘Please put all earthly work behind you and peacefully enter the heavenly gates to comfort our Heavenly Parent.’” “At the Holy Wedding of True Parents in 1960, I pledged to God, ‘I will accomplish Your will in my lifetime,’ and I have not forgotten this pledge for a moment.” True Mother’s promise to God that “I will accomplish your will in my lifetime” has now become our decision. It is time for us to fulfill True Mother’s wish in the age of children. What was it that allowed True Mother to walk the path of tears while overcoming countless hardships and overcoming physical limitations? I think about that a lot. I think this is because True Mother herself has a sense of mission. I am talking about her sense of mission to be born as the only begotten Daughter to fulfill the will of heaven. A sense of mission for the will of Heavenly Parent makes that person very, very strong. Therefore as a blessed family we must also lay down our responsibilities and have a sense of mission like that of True Mother.
I came to the United States with the responsibility as the continental director of North America. All the sense(?) of the mission of taking responsibility for the salvation of the 360 million people is under (I am under?) unimaginable spiritual pressure. This mission contributes to the work of True Parents and God, and I go further and work with all the ancestors in North America. I feel unimaginable energy when I think I am helping people participate in God’s will. Then that sense of mission becomes my strength. This is an important point.
We always need to feel the sense of our own portion of responsibility. We (need to) recognize our own portion of responsibility: “I can be more responsible, even control my physical limitations.” Even though I am an unworthy person and I am not a great leader, I think about Mother, how much pressure she feels. She pledges every day that she wants to finish everything in her lifetime. For me as a continental director when I think of my own portion of responsibility, I feel I don’t belong to myself. The sense of responsibility makes me wake up all the time. I cannot spend my own time for my own self at all. Twenty-four hours is the time of my offering. If the offering condition is invaded by Satan, oh my goodness! It will influence all of North America. The offering cannot complain, cannot say, “I am tired.”
I realized that this is a life of offering. Whenever I feel a sense of my own responsibility, it makes me so tense. There is no time to get sick. So, when I think of True Father (and True Mother), their entire life has been like that. If they lose a sense of their own portion of responsibility as the messiah, as the begotten son and begotten daughter, what would happen?
How to be aware of my own sense of my own portion of responsibility? When I go to the spiritual world in the distant future, I want to live without being accused by some political or religious leaders who have historically been loyal in North America. I want to live with the idea of loving and serving this country more than any president and more than any political leader, more than George Washington or Abraham Lincoln. Going further, when I communicate while I am praying, Father really encourages me. He asks me to work harder than he did. That is really True Parents! How much he loves me, but at the same time I realize how much he pushes me because I do not belong to myself.
At that time, Dr. Yun was preparing for several events simultaneously, including Europe’s Peace Starts with Me Rally of Hope in Vienna, Austria, and the Latin America Summit 2018 in São Paulo, Brazil. After hearing his report about the dream, I invited three “golden keys,” three religious leaders, to attend the upcoming Peace Starts with Me festival in the United States. The three were Sheikh Mansour Diouf of Senegal, Prophet Samuel Radebe of South Africa, and Archbishop Johannes Ndanga of Zimbabwe. During the festival in New York, we forged strong relationships that laid the foundation for what was to come.
When Mother made up her mind to fulfill her mission within her lifetime, definitely perfect minuses appeared. A perfect plus creates a perfect minus. To the extent that she resolved to fulfill God’s will, definitely object partners appeared to support True Mother. That is why True Mother is talking about three important religious figures. We will share more details (about that) tomorrow.
Living Divine Principle: Human Fall and Ignorance
♦ Considered from the viewpoint of the intellect, the human Fall represents humanity's descent into ignorance.
♦ People are composed of two aspects: internal and external, or mind and body; likewise, the intellect consists of two aspects: internal and external.
♦ In the same way, there are two types of ignorance: internal ignorance and external ignorance.
♦ Internal ignorance, in religious terms, is spiritual ignorance.
♦ It is ignorance of such questions as: What is the origin of human beings? What is the purpose of life? What happens after death?
♦ Do God and the next world exist? What is the nature of good and evil?
♦ External ignorance refers to ignorance of the natural world, including the human body.
♦ It is ignorance of such issues as: What is the origin of the physical universe? What are the natural laws governing all phenomena?
♦ From the dawn of history until today, human beings have ceaselessly searched for the truth with which to overcome both types of ignorance and attain knowledge.
♦ Humanity through religion has followed the path of searching for internal truth, and through science has followed the path of seeking external truth.
♦ Religion and science, each in its own sphere, have been the methods for searching for truth in order to conquer ignorance and attain knowledge.
♦ Eventually, the way of religion and the way of science should be integrated and their problems resolved in one united undertaking; the two aspects of truth, internal and external, should develop in full consonance.
♦ Only then, completely liberated from ignorance and living solely in goodness in accord with the desires of the original mind, will we enjoy eternal happiness.
♦ No One Knows They Are Committing historical Sins Because of Ignorance
Based on our talking about ignorance, let’s study Father’s words.
<80-83> There is the path people find, and the path where God finds a human. What I came to understand is that it is hundreds and thousands of times harder for God to enter the human world and find a path than for humans to find God. After knowing this I cannot pray. I couldn’t pray.. I could not pray ‘God, please help us!’ Do you know what kind of mind this is? No matter if I face death, I don’t complain. I prayed, ‘I have no fear, no worry.’ Thinking of this, the main point I’m talking about today is ‘God’s efforts and human ignorance’. You have to know how many times God is driven out even after making God go through millions of hardships when humans become ignorant. Do you understand what I am saying?
Yesterday we read this content, but I did not explain it because we did not have much time. True Father said there is a path (to God that) people find, and a path where God finds humans. What I came to understand is that it is hundreds and even thousands of times harder for God to enter the human world and find a path than for humans to find God. Father said, “After knowing this, I cannot pray.” What does this mean? Even if God wants to visit humans -- he wants to visit each human being -- God cannot deal with humans as long as humans are fickle, so changeable, and have two minds. Even if God visits us countless times, as long as humans serve two masters, only when they have a good mind will it work. If humans serve two masters and have two kinds of mind, God can do nothing. We have to know that.
God is God. God is an absolute God. He can only intervene on one condition: when you make a good condition. Only then can God relate to you. If you are always compromising, changing so much, sometimes relating to God, sometimes relating to Satan, sometimes not searching for God, then God cannot find any space to come into your heart. He cannot compromise with evil. That is what we are talking about. Therefore Jesus said, “The way for humans to seek God is faster.”(?than for God to seek humans?) This is because if man separates good and evil and achieves the unity of the mind and body, God can come to him at any time. God is working very hard for me, but because I am ignorant of God and cannot separate good and evil, God is paying an indemnity for me that I cannot imagine. That is why True Father said we have to know how many times God is driven out even after making God go through(?after enduring?) millions of hardships when humans become ignorant. Wow!
God is ready to come to my heart at any time. He tries to come, but we humans need to open the door. Our mind should be ready. But you are mixing together, compromising together with good and evil. God cannot do anything about that. That is why Father said it is much faster for human beings to search for God than for God to try to come to human beings. We don’t know because we are so ignorant.
<80-83> Who is God? He is our father. How pitiful is the God who carries such a heart toward every single one of the 4 billion (Now 7.8 billion) people? How pitiful He is. Consequently, God erected Abel, erected Noah but he failed, erected Abraham but he failed too… That took 400 and 4000 years. However, in the world of God’s heart it is proportional to hundreds of billions of years. You must know this.
God wants the heart of every single one of the 7.8 billion people to open up. He has gone out and tried looking for them many times. But because the door was shut, he kept returning. Some people have never left the door to their heart open even once in their lifetime. Oh my God! Although God goes out to look for them thousands of times, he cannot enter them. How pitiful he must be. Can you imagine that? Someone was born as a human being. He kept his door completely shut. He never opened it even one time. He completely denied and ignored God’s existence. God was waiting and waiting. He is continuously beside me and surrounds me and looks for the best time to enter into my heart. He has that kind of approach to each human being. Can you imagine that? That is the heart of God.
How much do you open the door of your heart and mind to welcome him? How much? This is the issue. We cannot accuse God any more. We cannot say he does not help me. This is really amazing guidance by God.
<80-83> Everyone enters the Unification Church for 1 or 2 years then opposes, saying, ‘I’m leaving the church’, ‘Reverend Moon is like this and that.’ Even though the whole universe welcomed you when you joined the church you fail to recognize and betray it. You must know how great and enormous the retribution and indemnity conditions you shoulder are. You failed to think of this. It is because of ignorance. Because of ignorance no one knows they are committing deadly sins, historical sins.
My joining the Unification Church came as the fruit of 6,000 years of history. I came in on behalf of all of my ancestors. It is said that at least 20,000 spirits, my ancestors' spirits, follow each Unification Church member. They follow me in order to receive salvation. We have no idea how long they have waited to receive salvation. Some spirits have waited for a thousand years. Others have waited for hundreds of years before they finally meet me. If that spirit who has already died, our ancestor’s spirit, (follows) a Unificationist who has hopes of salvation but gives up halfway through, that spirit must find a new person all over again. Looking at this fact, I am not alone. I have the mission to save more than 20,000 spirits.
True Father said when you oppose the church and leave, you do not know how big the indemnity and punishments are. Because of ignorance, no one knows they are committing a deadly sin, a historical sin. True Father said this. Moreover if you betray True Parents and leave, you will regret it for eternity. The sin of all sins is to betray one's parents. Most of the people who left halfway, left because among their own ancestors there was an ancestor who betrayed. However, if I do not overcome this, the fact is that this will remain awaiting(?) as indemnity for my descendants again.
Break Free from Ignorance
<80-86> Everyone, do not be ignorant. One cannot know when fate will pass me by.
At times when people pass by they give me news of fortune… At times I hear new news from the passing wind. Everything has ties with me. Everything has either a good or a bad tie with me. Thus I distinguish bad ties, and as for the good ties, you must think of catching it all from the whole universe. Such a person will develop everyday anywhere he goes. As 10 years pass, the spirit develops that much more, gradually becoming deeper. When first entering the unification church and hearing the principle you thought, “Ah! This is it. Wow, exciting,’ but if that good gradually withers, it is wrong. Such a person isn’t one who pursues truth or the world of knowledge, but one who pursues the world of ignorance, the world of ignorance….
This really touched me and changed my attitude. “Everything has ties with me” is a Korean saying that means, “Even though you just quickly brush by people, they will somehow become part of your destiny.” Think that all the relationships you meet are predestined and prepared by God. If I think of everything as a coincidence, it will have no relationship with me. Everything has either a good or bad tie with me. Therefore, you must distinguish them very well. This is my portion of responsibility. To form good ties, I must value all things I deal with. Also, I must value and serve all the people I deal with. If you do that well, then you will have good ties. Heavenly fortune comes from valuing all things and it comes from valuing each and every person. You must know that the channel through which heavenly fortune comes must come through all things and people. Therefore since you do not know when or through whom they will come, you should value everyone. This kind of person will always develop, True Father said. This is very important guidance.
Human beings do not know the channel of the blessing, heavenly blessing. Heavenly fortune comes from all things. Another channel comes from each human being. That is why whenever I meet any people, whenever I deal with all things, we do not know what kind of fortune will come, sometimes bad, sometimes good. That is why we need to distinguish very well. However, when you deal with each item among all things, eating, sleeping, whatever, any materials, treat it very preciously, very valuably. If anyone comes to me, we need to think, “God sent him to me,” and attend him and take care of him very well. This is the way to receive heavenly blessing. This is very important guidance.
Today’s Youth Ministry: The Meaning of the Dove Sent Out Three Times to Noah's Family
Let’s learn from Noah’s family.
1. It is said that Noah’s family sent out a dove from the ark three times. The first time, the dove returned without finding a place to land. The first dove symbolizes Adam, so it means the formation dove.
2. The second time, Noah sent out the first dove again. The third time, it is said that he sent out a different dove.
3. Originally, if Adam and Eve had not fallen, one dove was supposed to make it to the end. If Adam and Eve had not fallen, they would have formed a couple as soon as they passed the top of the growth stage and be perfected to the end.
4. Adam goes out alone as a single person until the top of the growth stage, but from the completion stage, the word “single person” disappears and it is the start of the bride and groom, or husband and wife. They start from the position of a couple. Therefore, the formation stage and growth stage are the same dove, but with completion signifying a new start, it is symbolized by a different dove.
5. Formation and growth are of the same person. They are the same dove. However, the completion stage is not the same person from the formation stage and growth stage. The completion stage is completed together as husband and wife. The time when Adam and Eve fell from the top of the growth stage was the time of the Blessing. When it says that Adam and Eve were immature, it does not refer to their physical age. It means the immaturity of the internal, heartistic relationship with God.
6. Even in our life of faith, men and women fall into temptation during the age of getting married. If you make effort and endure just a little bit more, you can create a good family, but if you fall into temptation, your direction will change. In this way, the time of completion controls your fate.
7. If you look at the fall of Adam and Eve, they were almost complete. If you don't reach the completion stage, how will you fall? When an apple is picked, it means that it is already ripe. No one picks things that cannot be eaten. When God saw Adam and Eve mature externally, He was worried because of the Archangel’s temptation, but at the same time, think about how excited He must have been.
8. When you reach the top of the growth stage, you mature internally and externally, so there will surely be temptation. Even when you look at a fruit, you pick it when it looks both eye-catching and delicious. When God was about to bless Adam and Eve, the Archangel took the opportunity and seized them.
9. In Noah’s family, the formation stage and growth stage doves were the same. The third time was a different dove, and the fact that it did not return has an important meaning.
Why did it not return?
10. In the formation stage and growth stage, men and women each grow separately, men as men and women as women, but in the completion stage, they establish a family and settle down. Although the Old Testament is symbolically recorded, there is always an allusion. There is an unchangeable principle implied.
That is why the Bible is a revelation. Very important.
11. People grow through three stages. The dove is a symbol of life. The dove is also a symbol of peace, a symbol of love, and a symbol of purity. We all have a dove of love in our arms.
Let me make a conclusion. We are growing to the top of the growth stage as a man as a tree of life. As a woman you need to grow up until the top of the growth stage as a Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Separately as a man and a woman you grow to the top of the growth stage. Right? As individual trees. What is the tree of man? The Tree of life. What is the woman? The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. And growing and growing until the top of the growth stage. That is the right time to receive the blessing from heaven. Then when Adam and Eve receive the Blessing by Heavenly Parent, they are no longer individual trees. They become a Tree of Love. Love definitely requires an object partner, right? You cannot make love alone. That is why individual trees meet each other and become a couple and become the Tree of Love. Then as husband and wife they make a relationship with each other, really love each other, and produce what? Produce descendants which is the blood lineage. Finally they become the Tree of Blood Lineage. We need to go through three processes, the Tree of Life, the Tree of Love and Finally the Tree of Blood Lineage. That was God’s plan.
God showed (this) through …, through Noah’s family by sending (out the dove) three times. This Bible is amazing, isn’t it? We need to become the true dove before receiving the blessing. We have to be a pure dove, not relating to any boy or girl. Keep absolute purity. You need to be a very, very pure dove as a man, as a woman until the top of the growth stage. And then when man and woman receive the Blessing by God, then you have to become the dove of love. Dove of love as bride and bridegroom, as a couple. Then finally you need to become a dove of what? Blood lineage. You need to produce God’s blood lineage. This is our life course. God already showed this in Adam’s family and in Noah’s family. This is amazing guidance! God shows us the process of our life, how to complete our life. It is really incredible guidance!
