Key Points
TM: Women need to take a leading role in politics, economics, culture and each area of society, in order to realize world peace.
Godism and head-wing thought offer the fundamental system of values to unite the left and right wings, to overcome atheistic materialism, and to guide the twenty-first century.
The goal of restoring the environment ultimately lies in witnessing.
The original sin is dreadful because it has been passing down from generation to generation through the blood lineage.
The blood lineage passes to descendants while life and love last just one generation.
Whenever our children are tempted, we need to completely separate them from that environment and teach them strongly and clearly: “You must not eat or you will die.”
Whether we become good or evil and alive or dead depends on “absolute sex,” our portion of responsibility.
Those with a Chapter Two problem are either rebellious and seek to separate, or repentant.
There is no such thing as “dislike” for those who have gratitude.
In the life of faith, if there is something I dislike, that is telling me that there is something I need to overcome.
TF: The cause of all diseases comes from the heart and mind.
If the heart is joyful, happy, and grateful, you can beat any illness.
“Dislikes” lead to indemnity. They are proof of fallen nature.
Accidents often occur when something is done without joy out of a sense of duty or obligation.
The couples matched by True Father have completely opposite personalities and were introduced to the type of person they hate the most because there was indemnity that they had to resolve caused by tangled ancestral problems.
We must overcome the heart of “dislike” in our lives. A person who regards other people's faults as their own has the truth and is amicable.
When persecuted, Jesus and Father did not complain but forgave and had compassion for their enemies.
Our life of faith is ultimately the path of loving even our most hated enemies.
By loving enemies, human beings’ fallen nature is liquidated.
You can tell the size of a person’s heart by looking at how much he loves his enemies.
Before judging others, I must consider that I have the potential to make bigger mistakes than they have made.

Today is going to be a beautiful day. I am excited to see my brothers and sisters at the Robert Treat(?Double Tree?) Hotel. I think more than 800 people have already registered to attend the Family Reunion Service. I am really grateful for all of our New Jersey family working so hard to have this service.
Today I’d like to talk about “World Peace and the Role of Women 2” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.
<This speech was given at a global conference of the Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP), held onAugust 26, 1992 at the Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel in Seoul> We women have the responsibility to solve the tragedy of Adam and Eve’s destruction by properly guiding people who are leading disorderly and chaotic lives. Distinguished leaders of all chapters of the Women's Federation here and abroad: In the era of women that has now arrived, we need to establish a model for the whole world through a movement for the realization of true love in which we embrace our husbands and raise our children properly. By doing so, we need to develop the Family Federation for World Peace with the active support of our husbands and children. The Women's Federation for World Peace is not a movement for women alone. It will bear the fruit of ideal families through a movement of true love for our husbands and children.
Ideal families established in this manner will join together and create the ideal nation and world. That is the reason the Women's Federation for World Peace has to develop into the Family Federation for World Peace. Thus, women need to take a leading role in politics, economics, culture and each area of society, in order to realize world peace. Godism and head-wing thought offer the fundamental system of values that our Women's Federation needs to espouse to unite the left and right wings, to overcome atheistic materialism, and to guide the twenty-first century. Let us go forward together into the world of peace guided by the True Parents who have the leading role in demonstrating true love. Let us thus cultivate our families as the dwelling place of true parents, true couples and true children. Let me close by wishing God's blessings upon all of you, your families and your nations. Thank you very much.
True Mother said that the Women's Federation for World Peace is not a movement for women alone. It will bear the fruit of ideal families through a movement of true love for our husbands and children.
What True Mother is saying is that the final goal of Women’s Federation for World Peace is to connect with Family Federation for World Peace and create ideal families, nations, and world.
Therefore, True Parents have always said that Women’s Federation should not just end with external activities, but connect those involved in Women’s Federation to Family Federation for World Peace and have everyone receive the Blessing. I believe that the members of Women’s Federation for World Peace USA are all doing just that.
We cannot forget that the goal of restoring the environment ultimately lies in witnessing. I would like to take this opportunity today to thank everyone who is working for the Women’s Federation for World Peace.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: The Fall - 1. The Root of Sin
3. Humankind is beset by the original sin, which has been inherited from our first ancestors. Yet how can something one eats cause sin to be transmitted to one's descendants? The only way something can be inherited is by being passed down through the lineage.
4. Also, would the God of love test humans by a means that could cause their death?
The reason why the (original) sin is dreadful is that it has been passing down through the blood lineage. The most dreadful thing is the blood lineage among life, love and blood lineage. That’s because it can always be connected to descendants while life and love can last just one generation.
The problem is that the fall is a change of blood lineage. Thus, without changing the blood lineage, there is absolutely no way to be liberated from Satan. The love of God would never test humans with something that can cause death.
The only one thing that can violate God’s words is “love (sexual promiscuity)” even taking a risk of one’s life. Once tempted by Satan nobody, not even the parents, can save the person.
We already have this experience through our second generation and third generation, our children, right?
At this time, there must be a physical disconnect from each other. The best way is to make their environment clean and healthy.
Whenever our children or young children have this kind of issue, first of all we need to completely separate (them from) their environment. Then (we can) teach them.... Separation (from) the environment is very crucial.
5. Adam and Eve would not have risked their lives and disobeyed God only to obtain some delicacy.
• Therefore, we can surmise that the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was not a fruit. Rather, it must have been something so extraordinarily stimulating that even the fear of death did not deter them from grasping it.
A Test of Love
1. A test of love (provides) an extraordinary stimulation that even the fear of death (can) not (surmount).
2. One in his or her adolescence should have clean and healthy surroundings.
3. Gen 3:3 - But God did say, “You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.”
This was a test of love. God warned Adam and Eve clearly: They
> must not eat,
> must not touch,
> must not be even close, and
> must not create a reciprocal relationship.
That is why when we raise our younger generation, we always need to teach this point clearly: do not eat, touch, be close or create a reciprocal relationship because the test of love is very strong, a kind of extraordinary stimulation that is not easy to overcome. That is why we must always remind them from one, two and three years old.
My son overcame the test of love because his mommy strongly educated him from an early age. When he became 14, 15 and 16, his mom told him continuously that he was the same age as Adam and Eve. Surely temptation will come. She reminded him day and night: “Do not eat, touch, get close or create a reciprocal relationship.”
Wow! Our education is not enough. God even warned them, “You must not eat or touch it. If you do that, you surely will die.”
• Many important parts of the Bible are expressed in symbols and metaphors.
• If the fruit was not a material fruit, then it must be a symbol which represents something else.
• To learn what the fruit represents, let us first investigate the tree of life, which stood next to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen.2:9)
Am I a Tree of Life or a Tree of Death ?
1. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is a symbol of a woman whether we become the tree of good or the tree of evil.
2, The tree of life (life and death) is a symbol of a man whether we become the tree of life or the tree of death.
3. Whether we become good or evil and alive or dead depends on our portion of responsibility. If we eat it, we will become evil and surely die.
Anyone who eats the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil easily become very negative because they feel conscience stricken. They purposely want to get away from (that environment) and hate God, the Unification Church and Chapter Two of the Divine Principle. The more they hate, the more conscience-stricken they feel.
What is our portion of responsibility?
4. Am I a tree of life or a tree of death? A life definitely multiplies a life. A life brings forth a life.
5. Am I a tree of good or a tree of evil? The tree of good definitely bears good (fruit) and the tree of evil bears evil (fruit).
One who already has a Chapter Two problem, it is not easy (for him) to come back. There are two cases: (one person is) more rebellious and tends to go to the secular world side. The other is Abel type and really cries and repents. Anyone who commits Chapter Two sin is one of two (types of people): (one is) more rebellious, hates the Unification Church, hates the Blessing and doesn’t want to associate with the Unification Church any more. The other really repents and feels the pangs of conscience.
We need to really educate our children very well.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: There is No Such Thing as “Dislike” for Those Who Have Gratitude
1. Am I always sincere and earnest and responsible? And am I the one who has good human relationships? Am I bound by anything to anyone? Is there really nothing I hate when dealing with personal relationships or work? You need to take a good look at these things. There is no such thing as “dislike” for those who have gratitude. When I see other people’s failures, I feel like I failed, and when I see other people's mistakes, I feel like I made a mistake. People who are always grateful for everything do not have “dislikes” in their relationships and are always grateful. People who have a lot of “likes” and “dislikes” always lead unhappy lives. A person who eats anything well without being picky is healthy. People who change their minds often and are fickle are not very healthy. We often see weak people around us. True Father said that if you live the life of your mind well, even those who are physically weak can overcome their weakness.
When I say I “dislike” or “like” something, I am saying “dislike” or “like” centered on what? When we say we dislike something, we are often centered on ourselves, seldom centered on God.
However, there is no such thing as “dislike” for those who have gratitude. In the life of faith, if there is something I dislike, that is telling me that there is something I need to overcome.
People who are always grateful for everything do not have “dislikes” in their relationships and are always grateful. People who have a lot of “likes” and “dislikes” always lead unhappy lives because there are a lot of changes in their heart.
Sometimes “I like that,” sometimes “I dislike that.” Their emotions are extreme, and their spiritual life is not at all healthy.
Always Check the Life of Your Heart
2. True Father said that the various symptoms that appear in the body appear according to the life of the person's heart. He said that most who have a weak body have a weak mind. Of course, there are people who are weak from birth, but a person’ whose body becomes weak even though they breathe and eat like others do need to examine the reason in their own mental life. Our hearts are very fickle. We often say, “Well, I don't like someone” or “Well, I really hate when someone acts like that.” A person with the truth is concerned that they will have a heart of “dislike” when faced with a situation where they have no choice but to “dislike” it. They choose not to “dislike” it. Before they say, “I don't like that person,” they are afraid that there is a “dislike” in their heart. That is why they don't say they hate others. A person who simply hates others and “dislikes” how someone is a certain way always meets such a person as their spouse.
Father said that the cause of all diseases comes from the heart and mind. Of course, it could also be hereditary. That is why we need to check the life of our heart when our body becomes weak.
Our hearts are very fickle, and people who are controlled by the environment end up (having it) greatly affect their health. Father often said that if you live the life of your heart well, all diseases can be cured. He said that if the heart is joyful, happy, and grateful, you can beat any illness.
Am I grateful in any situation all the time? Actually appreciation and gratitude can beat any kind of cancer, any kind of illness according to Father’s word. That is the power of gratitude.
And the more we have dislike in the heart, the more indemnity there is to pay. If I say, “I really don’t like people who do that,” “I really hate those kind of people,” “I really hate that kind of Abel,” it is proof that I have a lot of fallen nature.
“I dislike something” means you need to pay indemnity until you like it.
That is why to get to know someone, you can know about them by making them do something they hate the most.
All men in the Republic of Korea, without exception, must serve in the military as a duty of national defense. But few people like this military duty. So, there are many suicide cases and many problems in the military life. Accidents often occur when something is done without joy or done out of duty or by force. So we must have a good mindset.
If there is no volunteer heart, happy heart, grateful heart, then there are problems.
True Father went to prison six times. How did he overcome those times? When we think about Father, we can learn lessons (about) how to overcome the things we hate doing.
Jesus never complained when he was crucified on the cross. How did he overcome? How did True Father overcome in any situation? A grateful heart. A joyful heart. “This is my destiny. (I will) go happily. Even though God put me in prison, this is God’s will. I need to go (there). I (will) happily pay indemnity.” Then Satan will run away.
You Must Overcome “Dislike” in Your Life of Faith
3. For example, if a woman thinks, “I really hate that kind of guy,” True Father will make her meet the type of person she hates the most. We must overcome the heart of “dislike” in our lives. A person who regards other people's faults as their own is a really true person. Those who have a heart of seeing the other’s bad points as their own have the truth and are amicable in human relationships. When True Father was persecuted externally, he tightened his heart and said, “Let's fast and do a prayer vigil,” while becoming more active and reflecting internally. True Father had such a disposition. Despite numerous persecutions and opposition, he did not directly confront them, hate them, or retaliate against them. True Father forgave and loved the United States, which tried to crucify him, and strengthened us internally by telling us to fast and do prayer vigils.
For example, if a woman thinks, “I really hate that kind of guy,” True Father will make her meet the type of person she hates the most. If you look at the couples matched by True Father – including my couple – there are many who have completely opposite personalities and were introduced to the type of person they hate the most.
Before being matched by Father I didn’t like Japanese people. I needed to overcome (this).
The reason he did this was because there was indemnity that we had to resolve, cause by tangled ancestral problems. That is why we must overcome the heart of “dislike” in our lives. A person who regards other people's faults as their own is a really true person. Those who have a heart of seeing the other’s bad points as their own have the truth and are amicable in human relationships.
When You See the Faults of Others, Hit Yourself First and Reflect on Yourself
4. When we see the faults of others, we have to hit ourselves. Before judging others, I must consider that I have the potential to make bigger mistakes. Therefore, when we see the faults of others, we need to be harder on ourselves and reflect on ourselves. True Parents lived with that spirit. We too must always weigh whether we are resurrected or not, and whether we are true or not. We live in the age of the fruits of love. There are times when we don't know how good this time really is. You should know how blessed you are to live in the era of Cheon Il Guk with True Mother. However, even in such a good time, if someone has useless thoughts and gaps, does things formally, and is hypocritical, no one can interfere with that person.
When Father was persecuted externally, he did not resent the one who persecuted him but internally reflected even more and offered jeongseong with enthusiasm. Even though he was persecuted and opposed countless times, he did not directly fight or even hate them or retaliate. Our father was like that.
Even Jesus did not complain while being crucified. Rather, he pitied those who persecuted him and loved his enemies. Our life of faith is ultimately the path of loving even our most hated enemies.
By loving enemies, human beings’ fallen nature is liquidated. And then our hearts become broader and we can embrace everything. You can tell the size of a person’s heart by looking at how much he loves his enemies.
Therefore, when we see the faults of others, we have to hit ourselves. Before judging others, I must consider that I have the potential to make bigger mistakes. Therefore, when we see the faults of others, we need to be harder on ourselves and reflect on ourselves.
We live in the age of the fruits of love. In this amazing age, we have to overcome everything with the heart of true love and the heart of parents. This is the attitude of a true person. Aju?
