Where is the Holy Spirit? Where there is no “me;” where there is jeongseong and prayer; where there is unity between mind & body, husband & wife, Cain & Abel; where God’s Word (HDH) is alive; where you strive at the front line for the sake of the will; in the heart that seeks to save lives; and where the Blessing is.
We should keep the contents of the Word that gives us strength a secret until we put it into practice and bear fruit.
In the world of heart, we must hide the secrets that can become the food for the heart until we move it with practice and it becomes mine. When I hear the Word and just proclaim it without putting it into practice and others do not accept it and rejoice as I had, then I become disappointed.

Today I’d like to talk about “World Peace and the Role of Women 2” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.
<This speech was given at a global conference of the Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP), held on August 26, 1992 at the Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel in Seoul> The reason God created humankind is that He absolutely needs an object partner to love. In human society, the heart of parents who want their children to become better than themselves has its roots in the heart of true love that God had when He created human beings. The heart of wanting one's reciprocal object partner to be better than oneself originally derives from the true love of God. If, for example, God invests an amount of one hundred, the created being has a value of only one hundred. Then if God wants to invest more than one hundred, He forgets what He has invested already and invests again. Finally, one's reciprocal object partner becomes larger than the subject partner; yet one continues to forget until one has invested one’s life. This is where true love begins. God's true love is love that forgets it has invested, so it invests again and again and again. If the memory of giving remains, then love cannot flow freely and endlessly. Because love moves endlessly, one cannot hold onto the memory of having given. Even if one gives again, love continues to flow because the memory of giving does not remain.
In essence, true love signifies God's absolute love. Included in love is the right of inheritance. By becoming one with God, the logic of eternal life is proven; the family and society that practice true love will not be destroyed and will develop throughout eternity. If our first ancestors, who were created as God’s object partners, had not disobeyed God's Word, had grown according to God’s Will and had inherited unchanging true love from God, our human world would have begun as a history of peace. There would not have been the miserable history of the bloodshed of war. In that true love, the confrontation and conflict between nations, societies and, of course, individuals would have melted away and a world of true peace would have been realized.
The reason God created humankind is that He absolutely needs an object partner to love. The heart of wanting one's reciprocal object partner to be better than oneself originally derives from the true love of God.
Since human beings are God’s object partners of love, God’s wish is to breathe together, dwell together, and give and receive with human beings 24/7. That means that God wishes for human beings, His object partner, to be better than Himself.
From this perspective, God’s love is really great. (What) the almighty and all-knowing God, who created the great universe and human beings, wishes (for) from people is not money or power or honor, but love.
God also wants to receive love from human beings, and He also wants His children, human beings, to know God’s love. Then as His children, how much do we love and comfort that kind of God and know about Him?
Since love is an infinite movement, the movement of love stops when the fact that you gave remains in your memory. That is why eternal love flows because it does not remain in memory even if you keep giving and giving.
When you give love and remember giving, it becomes stagnant there, so it cannot flow towards eternal love. That love will continue to flow forever only when you give and forget and give and forget again.
Therefore, when love is given and remembered, it is stopped in one place, so love to give and remember will spoil just as water spoils.
Wow! Do not remember after you have given something. If you remember, it is stuck in one place. Water needs to flow. (Similarly) love needs to flow continuously and create new life and new creatures(?). When love flows continuously, it creates so much life, so many creatures. If after you give, you remember, (what you gave) becomes stagnant and spoils.
I learned good things from True Parents’ guidance: why we need to forget. If we remember after giving, the love will be spoiled.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: The Principle of Creation 66 – The Human Heart as Viewed through the Spiritual and Physical Minds
This is the last part of the Principle of Creation. Tomorrow we will begin the Fall of Man.
• The relationship between the spirit mind and the physical mind is like that between internal nature and external form. When they become one through give and take action with God as their center, they form a united functioning entity which guides the spirit self and physical self to become harmonious and progress toward the purpose of creation. This united entity is the mind of a human being.
• The conscience is that faculty of the human mind which, by virtue of its inborn nature, always directs us toward what we think is good.
• However, as the standard of goodness in fallen human beings varies, the standard of their conscience also fluctuates; this causes frequent contention even among those who advocate a conscientious life.
• The original mind is that faculty of the human mind which pursues absolute goodness. The original mind relates to the conscience as internal nature to external form.
• A person's conscience directs him to pursue goodness according to the standard he has set up in ignorance, even though it may differ from the original standard. However, the original mind repels this faulty standard and works to correct the conscience.
• As long as our spirit mind and physical mind are under the bondage of Satan, the functioning entity they form through their give and take action is called the evil mind. The evil mind continually drives people to do evil.
• Our original mind and conscience direct us to repel the evil mind. They guide us in desperate efforts to reject evil desires and cling to goodness by breaking our ties with Satan and turning to face God.
Let’s study Father’s word.
Do not be Negative to Someone you Meet for the First Time
<112-284> When you meet someone for the first time in the morning, you absolutely do not make him a loss. I could say something to help them, or I could express inaudible love through frequencies. You should think this way whenever you go and sit somewhere, “I am an unstoppable power plant, centered on true love. I must sit here selflessly, for the sake of the whole.” If you think in this way, you can resurrect the whole atmosphere around you. Do you understand?
Father said, “When you meet someone for the first time in the morning, you absolutely do not make him a loss. Even saying one thing must be for the sake of the other person. Only then can Heavenly fortune follow.”
Our Rev. Heavenly Green is the first person I meet every morning after Hoondokhoe. He always waits for me in front of the elevator. We hug and greet each other. I greet heavenly Green as a representative of the American family. It's like I see God every morning. Thank you, Rev. Heavenly Green.
Think that if you give love and live for the sake of the first person you meet each day, you will receive God’s blessings throughout that entire day. The first is always important. The first hour, the first person, the first mood are precious. You must first offer those first things to God.
That’s why whenever I have a meal, the first, second and third spoonful of rice are very precious. The first spoonful of food I chew 30 times and try to (bring out) the taste. If I do this with (the first) three spoonfuls, then all the food is so delicious and so meaningful. The first spoonful of rice is very precious.
Treat the first person you meet very well as a first offering. When you wake up, your first word is “Heavenly Parent.” The first person you meet, the first thing you touch, are your first offering. That is why Morning Devotion is very important. If you offer your morning devotion every day, I am telling you, your entire day can be protected by God and you will receive incredible heavenly blessing.
Next, think “I am an unstoppable power plant, centered on true love.” If I have a heart that can give infinitely on behalf of God, the whole atmosphere centered on me will change into an environment that can be resurrected.
That’s why the first person you meet, the first thing you touch, you always need to treat these thing preciously, then everything can become holy.
If You are Unselfish, Spirit World Will Mobilize
<276-318> “When you are working, as long as you are unselfish, you can feel that spirit world mobilizes around you and cooperates with you. You must not be selfish.” If you have a selfish lifestyle, clouds will gather and fog will settle, and nothing works out. No matter how difficult it is, it will be over in a flash and a hopeful dawn will break. Even if you do not pray about it, you can feel it on your skin. Even if you oppose this principle, if you push forward, you can feel it. People live knowing everything. Even if you know that it will not work out, if you do not do it, you will retreat or can not advance. So you must overcome it, even if you know it is impossible. You must do whatever you can to overcome it. This is the meaning of development.
When we are working, as long as we are unselfish, the spirit world will definitely mobilize around us and cooperate with us. If my heart is very pure and I act according to my original mind, the spirit world has no choice. It cannot resist helping me.
However, if selfishness enters me and I become self-centered, clouds have already gathered. Therefore, you always need to check your motivation. You need to ask: “Is whatever I am going to do centered on myself or God?”
You always need to check your motivation first.
If I go out with an unselfish heart, no matter how difficult the circumstance, God and the spirit world will guide me and a hopeful dawn will break. Therefore, if you work with a selfish heart, you will retreat or (will be unable to) advance.
The reason we are not guided or intervened (with) by God is because (our) selfish, evil mind and (our) original mind are mixed. When I become confused as I go back and forth from the worlds of the evil mind and original mind, even God cannot help me.
You need to clearly separate. When we clearly separate between good and evil, God can intervene because if your heart is very pure, Satan has no time to attack because you have some evil condition. God surely will take it.
That’s why if something is going wrong, you need to reflect on your mind: “Is my mind really pure? (Is it) selfish or unselfish?” You need to check your motivation very clearly.
Where is the Holy Spirit?
We can say the Holy Spirit is like God.
1. Where there is no “me.”
No self-centeredness.
“Me, me, me.” Then there is no God, no holy spirit.
That is why we always need to deny ourself. If we have an empty mind, then God has space to come down to us. Where there is no “me,” I belong to God; I am God’s belonging. Then surely the Holy Spirit will come down to help me.
2. Where there is jeongseong and prayer. (jeongseong of blood, sweat, and tears).
One who invests a lot of jeongseong of blood, sweat and tears, can become the center of the environment. In your family someone who does more jeonseong than anyone else becomes the center all the time. In your nation, in your church who can become the center? One who does jeongseong more than anyone becomes the center. The Holy Spirit is there. Only jeongseong moves heaven. Anyone who invests jeongseong more than anyone else can become the owner, the center.
3. Where there is unity between mind & body, husband & wife, Cain & Abel.
Unity is God. Unity is the Holy Spirit. Why can’t you feel the Holy Spirit? Because there is no unity between the mind and body – they are always struggling with each other. (There is) struggling between husband and wife, struggling between Cain and Abel. There is no Holy Spirit there. That is an evil spirit. If you unite your mind and body, everybody without exception can feel the Holy Spirit. If you create unity between husband and wife, you can feel the Holy Spirit. If there is beautiful unity between Cain and Abel and they make harmony, everybody with exception can feel the Holy Spirit.
4. Where God’s Word (HDH) is alive.
Even though you read and read, (if) it is only habitual and conditional, then there is a problem. But where God’s word is alive, it is our life. It stimulates our heart and mind. Where it is alive, I am telling you, you can meet God. When you read the Divine Principle, you can read God’s mind and heart. Therefore, when God’s word is alive, you can feel the Holy Spirit all the time.
5. Where you strive at the frontline for the sake of the will.
If you go to the front line every day in order to find people prepared by God, that kind of mindset and attitude is the same as God’s mindset: “How can I find my children? When will my children come back to my bosom?” (With) that kind of parental heart, that kind of heart and mind of God, the Holy Spirit is always there.
6. In the heart that seeks to save lives.
How can you know if you are alive or not? When you witness and try to save people, with that kind of mindset and attitude, you can realize what God’s wishes are and you can see the Holy Spirit.
7. Where it connects to the Blessing, the eternal life.
We try to convey the Blessing everywhere, whomever I meet because the Blessing is our eternal life. When you try to convey the Blessing and keep it alive to people, if you have that kind of mindset and attitude, you can feel the Holy Spirit.
Wow! Through this content you can understand where the Holy Spirit is.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: When You Lose the Power of Your Spirit
Jesus’ Wise Answer
1.Even when Jesus received questions from many people, he answered wisely. This was because there were people who really wanted to know, and there were people who asked to test him. While there were people who asked questions with a truly respectful heart towards the Lord, there were also people who were full of doubts and wondered who this man really was and whether he was really the Son of God. Since some people asked, “Where did the authority of John the Baptist come from?” Jesus could not speak honestly because it was clear that they were asking to find fault with Jesus. If they asked out of a heart of respect, he could answer for them, but if they ask with suspicion that he was a self-proclaimed messiah, how could he answer honestly?
2. Rather, Jesus asked them. Then, they were troubled. If he says that the authority of John the Baptist comes from Satan, he would be criticized because the public served him as a prophet. On the other hand, if he says that it comes from Heaven, they would ask how could he not believe in John the Baptist. So, because they told Jesus that they do not know, Jesus answered that he does not know either. When they asked with the intention of finding fault in him, Jesus answered that he also did not know. He said, “Since you ask where John the Baptist’s authority comes from without knowing the answer yourself, I also do not know where that authority comes from.” When the Samaritan woman treated Jesus with a heart that questioned, “Who is this man?” and asked what would happen when the Messiah comes, Jesus answered honestly “I am he.”
When You Lose the Power of Your Spirit
3. Jesus never told anyone else what mission he came for. We can see that the Lord put a lot of effort into hiding himself from the conversations made. When we today heard the Word and rejoiced, words such as, “That is really true!” and “W`e really must have faith like this!” automatically came out. Then, we were so joyful that we tell the whole truth to friends. We like what we have heard to this day, so we pour everything out. In this way, there are many people who lose the power to go on holding onto the Word after revealing the secrets of the heart which they should have hidden. Because they spoke honestly about the contents of the Word that could become their driving force, they lose their power.
To people who do business, that company has a business secret. They do not teach that secret to anyone. Likewise, when we live a life of faith, we should keep the contents of the Word that gives us strength a secret. We must stay silent until we put it into practice and bear fruit.
If you just announce to anyone about the Words that gave your own spirit’s life strength or Words that touched your heart, that is just like giving pearls to pigs who do not know their value.
When I convey the Word to someone who really knows its value, it is necessary to speak in a level that they can understand, but that does not mean that I can pour everything out all at once.
Maybe you heard the Word and put it into practice so that it completely became a good habit, but if you pour out everything on people who cannot handle the Word while you yourself are in a state of not practicing it properly, your heart will lose power.
Hide the Secrets that can Become the Food for the Heart
4. In the world of heart, we must hide the secrets that can become the food for the heart. Only then can it become food for my spirit self. We cannot reveal the things that become the strength of our heart and food of gratitude. It is just like being unable to boast if I have treasures of gold and silver. I must secretly hide the food of my spirit. However, even if I tell my secrets to parents or an Abel that can treasure my secrets, it can be protected. The failure of believers is that when they hear the Word and just proclaim it without putting it into practice and others do not accept it and rejoice as they had, then they become disappointed. Just as you would keep your treasures of gold and silver hidden in a deep place, the content of the words that would be of strength to you should be kept secret until you put it into practice for it to give you strength. That is one of the reasons why you cannot keep your own heart.
In the world of heart, we must hide the secrets that can become the food for the heart until we move it with practice and it becomes mine. If I carelessly announce the things that become the strength of our heart and food of gratitude, it just diminishes power like a tire without air.
It is just like being unable to boast to anyone if I have treasures of gold and silver. I must secretly hide the food of my spirit. However, if I tell my secrets to parents or to an Abel who can treasure my secrets, they can be protected.
The failure of believers is that when I hear the Word and just proclaim it without putting it into practice and others do not accept it and rejoice as I had, then I become disappointed.
That is one of the reasons why you cannot keep your own heart.
