God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful Ideal World I - March 29, 2023
Key Points
While life and love only endure for one generation, lineage is multi-generational and endures forever.
God’s “most painful grievance” is that Adam and Eve’s royal lineage was sullied in the fall and became that of a servant through adultery with Lucifer.
We of the first generation have been reborn through the messiah back into the “true lineage” and now can become ideal people of ideal character who can create ideal families, an ideal nation and a world of peace.
Unlike the first generation born of Satan’s lineage and then transformed by True Parents, the second generation is born directly into God’s royal family and is unstained by Satanic blood.
A true lineage makes true love and true life possible.
The path of the world is centered on Satan and is thus 100% self-centered. Individuals and nations that follow it will perish in the end.
On the other hand, only if people serve their family, their family serves their nation, and the nation serves the world will they survive.
Only those who live for total salvation will “remain before God forever.”
In total salvation no one remains in hell.
We need to continually remind ourself of God’s reason for creating us in order not to lose the purpose, motive, and meaning of our life and in order to avoid falling.
We must live our life thoroughly centered on God’s will.
Our matching should be decided not based on likes or dislikes, but purely and earnestly on seeking heaven’s guidance because True Parents and heaven brought us together.
Instead of considering divorce, blessed couples in conflict should remember their first motivation in becoming blessed.
God always looks at a person's motivation. If it is pure and for the sake of the whole and for God, God surely takes responsibility for it.
We received the matching and blessing with a “sense of calling and hope” in order to make God and True Parents happy and fulfill their will.
If as a couple we feel that our personalities “don’t go well” together and we are displeased or distressed because of it, this indicates that we have lost our first motivation.
If we lose our first motivation, we may be “hit by the environment horizontally.” If someone ignores us, we may feel upset. We become “governed by results” and make mistakes.
We need to thoroughly preserve the “lamp” of our first motivation in order not to be “dominated by circumstances” or feel hurt or offended because we are ignored or persecuted.
That first motivation, when preserved and reinforced, will give us strength to face any trials.
A person who continually reminds himself of his first motivation and keeps it no matter what is called “righteous.”

We need to prepare our heart and mind very well to receive this special grace. We should inform our family or neighbor or anyone who doesn’t know about it. Today I’d like to talk about “God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful Ideal World I” from True Mother’s Anthology, Volume 2.

Do you know what has pained God's heart, causing Him the greatest grief over the long history since the Fall of Adam and Eve? God lost His lineage. And with the loss of His lineage, God lost His right of ownership. Let me talk about lineage for a moment. Lineage is more important than life and more important than love. Life and love come together to create lineage. Lineage cannot be established if either life or love is missing. Therefore, among the three qualities that define the parent-child relationship, love, life and lineage, lineage is the fruit. The seed of true love is embedded in God's lineage. God's lineage provides the context and environment for a true life.
Hence, for us to become the ideal people envisioned by God, people of ideal character who can create ideal families, we first need to be linked to His lineage. To take it a step further, only when we are linked to God's lineage is it possible to create God's homeland, the ideal nation. Only when we are linked to God's lineage is it possible to establish world peace. Please inscribe the importance of lineage in your hearts. I cannot emphasize this enough. Without lineage, neither life nor love can endure. You strive to set a good tradition, yet it will endure only through your lineage. Lineage is the bridge allowing the parents' spirit to carry on through subsequent generations. In other words, lineage is the first and final condition necessary for parents to harvest the fruits of their love, the fruits of their life and the fruits of their joy. We need to know this with certainty.
Lineage is more important than life and more important than love. This is because life and love end with one life on earth, but lineage remains forever through descendants.
Life and love come together to create lineage. Lineage cannot be established if either life or love is missing. This true life, true love, and true lineage are the representative attributes of God's true love.
But do we know what has remained as the most painful grievance in the history of God's providence of restoration? It is the fact that Adam and Eve, the lineage of God's holy royal family, fell into the lineage of servants because they entered into an adulterous relationship with a servant through Satan.
Ultimately, the Messiah comes to this earth to change the lineage. Unless we are reborn by the Messiah from the true lineage, we cannot become ideal people envisioned by God, that is, people of ideal character who can create ideal families. To take it a step further, only when we are linked to God's lineage is it possible to create God's homeland, the ideal nation. Only when we are linked to God's lineage is it possible to establish world peace.
Father said, in this sense, we must also keep in mind that the importance of lineage cannot be emphasized enough. If there is no bloodline, not only life but also love will be gone.
Do we know what the difference is between the blessed 1st generation and the blessed 2nd generation? The origin of the lineage of the blessed 1st generation began with the lineage of Satan, but the lineage was transformed by True Parents. However, the origin of the blessed second generation is that they are the lineage of God's royal family, which has nothing to do with the fallen lineage.
That is why we really need to guide our second and third generation and our blessed children. We need to tell them the importance of the blood lineage. The first generation came from Satan’s blood lineage. But the second generation comes from God’s royal family lineage, God’s lineage. That is why True Father is really concerned and worries so much. If God’s royal blood lineage is again mixed with Satan’s blood lineage, this causes incredible grief and sadness. We really need to fix this issue. There are many issues. We need to know about that.
Parents need to be aware of the difference between the first generation and second generation. The first generation comes from s satanic blood lineage. However, the second generation is different. They come from God’s direct lineage, which is God’s royal blood lineage. This is incredible. Why does the messiah need to come? Because of God’s blood lineage. Why should we learn God’s word? Of course, the life of faith is important, but what is the most important mission of the messiah? It is to change the blood lineage. Without changing the blood lineage, how can we individually become an ideal person and establish an ideal family, nation and world? We have(?) to change the blood lineage. That is the most important (thing). The most important mission of the messiah is to change the blood lineage. We need to know this point.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: Chapter 3 Eschatology and Human History 1 – Introduction
• We dwell in ignorance of history, uncertain about its origin, the direction in which it is heading, and its final destination.
• Concerning eschatology, or the doctrine of the Last Days, many Christians believe literally what is written in the Bible: “The heavens and the elements will melt with fire” (II Pet. 3:12); “The sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light and the stars will fall from heaven” (Matt. 24:29); and “The dead in Christ will rise…to meet the Lord in the air” (I Thess. 4:16-17).
• However, we must ask whether these events will take place literally or whether the verses are symbolic.
• To address this issue, we should first under stand such fundamental matters as the purpose of God’s creation, the meaning of the Human Fall, and the goal of the providence of restoration.
Let’s study Father’s word.
What Should be the Guiding Ideology of the 21st Century?
<209-236> In conclusion, what should be the guiding ideology of the 21st century? It is the ideology which is built on religious contents exceeding philosophical thought. God is not an ideological being. Therefore, this world needs to be one in which God can live together with us and lead our daily lives. That is none other than the world which realizes religious ideals and philosophical ideals. However, it doesn’t mean that the world is ideological. It is the world in which we can substantially live together with God who is the absolute being and the absolute origin of peace. That is what the world of the 21st century should be.
Father is talking about a very important point.
What should be the guiding ideology of the 21st century?
Father said it should be an ideology in which is built on religious contents exceeding philosophical thought.
God is not an ideological being. Therefore, this world needs to be one in which God can live together with us.
God’s (ideology) must be an ideology that can lead our daily lives.
God must be a God who can substantially live with us and appear as an absolute being.
If a god is merely a transcendent being, he becomes a god who has no relationship with humans.
The relationship between God and us is the same as the relationship between the mind and the body, and it is the relationship between parents and children, so it is a relationship that cannot be separated.
So how can we become someone who can substantially live and be one with the living God? Since God comes where the body and mind become one, we must first achieve unity of body and mind.
Next, husband and wife must become one, parents and children must become one, and brothers and sisters must become one. This should be the guiding ideology of the 21st century.
Many people think that God is a transcendent being, just kind of conceptual. He is not like that. Even though he is invisible, he is very substantial and real. The relationship between God and us is (that of) parent and child – like mind and body. We cannot separate mind and body, right? We cannot separate (ourself) from God. We are that close. The relationship between God and us is inseparable. That is why this kind of ideology should be the guiding ideology of the 21st century – very substantial and very real, not conceptual. God is not a transcendent being.
True Father explained this very clearly. He really attends God, even though he is an invisible being, as a substantial being. True Father showed us how we can live with God. It is very clear how we should attend God, how to live with God. True Parents show very clearly as human beings how to live together with God.
This is an incredible example. Does Buddhism show this way clearly? Does any religion show such an example clearly? The Unification ideology is very clear, very real, very much relates to our daily lives. God is not a conceptual God, nor just an ideological God. We need to understand this point.
Where Must we go?
<241-31> We must seek an unfallen world centered on God. That world will be 180 degrees different from this world. To what degree? 180 degrees It will be fundamentally different. This Satanic world has taken root centered on false love. Then, what is the Fall? The Fall started from self-awareness. Self-awareness stems from a self-centered mind which tries to advance one’s own interests. History testifies to this. Therefore, at the end of the world, we will enter the era of the collapse of wealth achieved by individual interest (rather than the interest of the world). This will be the conclusion of fallen history. This will inevitably happen.
Look at the United States now. After World War II, God assigned the whole world to the United States. However, since it couldn’t fulfill its responsibility, it has lost everything. Today, young Americans do not have any view of the world.
We are living in the last days. Where must we go?
The way centered on God that we seek is 180 degrees different from the way that the fallen world is today.
The path to following the world is the path centered on Satan. That path is completely self-centered, and begins centering on self-centered interests. So, in the end, it will surely perish.
Satan is 100% self-centered. Therefore, if we think of ourself first, we are doomed. The beginning of Satan is self-centered.
On the contrary, the heaven-centered path is 100% God-centered. Heaven is always altruistic. It is the family rather than the individual, the nation rather than the family, the world rather than the nation, and God rather than the world.
From such a principle, if the United States flows centered its own country, it will gradually go down the path of ruin. On the other hand, if it gradually becomes a country that lives (for) and contributes to the world, it will develop forever and become the center of the world.
Do young people in America today have any view of the world? They are not thinking of the world.
This is the issue.
Now, if any country does not think of the world, everything will only flow. Any individual, family, or tribe will all just flow if they do not think of the world. In the end, after graduating from the end of the individual and the end of the nation, everyone must go out with a world view.
In view of these principles, the way to save America's young people and the blessed second and third generation is to plant visions and dreams for the world and send them out for world missions.
Our final mission is to serve the world.
Not only the United States, but now 200 countries around the world must serve the world to survive. Therefore, now only those who live for the salvation of the world, the salvation of humankind, and total salvation will remain before God forever.
The concept of the Unification Church is what? Total salvation. No one will remain in hell. Total salvation is not just centered on the family or nation but on the world. World means total.
God loved the world and sent his only begotten son to the world – not just for a nation, not only for a people(?), but for the sake of the world. God’s concept is always “total.” “Total” means all humankind without exception. “Total” means saving the whole world. That is why Father as the messiah came to save the world and all humankind without exception, everybody. As the parent he needs to save everybody without exception...
True Parents and the Divine Principle are so great because they can embrace the entire world, all human beings, including the spiritual world. This is the concept of True Parents’ ideology.
America needs to live for the sake of the world, of all humankind. Then America can have great hope. Our second and third generation can have great hope. Let them serve the world, serve all humankind. Treat them as one family, as our own brothers and sisters. We need to treat them as one family under God.
This philosophy is so beautiful. True Parents must be the messiah because he brings such a concept of salvation. Which religion has this kind of concept?
If you believe in Jesus, then only you can enter the Kingdom of Heaven? If your own brothers and sisters do not believe in God, even if they are in the same family, (they) will go to hell. God’s concept of salvation is not like that. Without exception, everybody has to be (part of) God’s blood lineage. Then God can completely save all human beings including the spiritual world. That is why Father Moon and Mother Moon should be the messiah. They brought this concept of salvation.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: Keep Your First Motive Well
I Will Fall If I Forget the Motive and Aim of the Creator, Who Created Me
1. God told Eve, “Do not eat of the fruit,” yet Eve disregarded God’s Words and formed a reciprocal relationship with the archangel and ended up falling. As a result, the Fall is forgetting God’s motive and aim in creating us in the relationship between you and me and then giving and receiving horizontally. When we have relationships with one another, if we forget the motive of the Creator who created us, it becomes the Fall. If you deviate from the central figure’s motives and give and take with self-centered motives, you will leave the relationship with God and end up falling in the end.
For example, let’s say there is a case where you say, “I absolutely support God, but I cannot give and receive with God in this one thing.” There are people who received the Blessing from True Parents and were troubled about their partner, thinking “should I give up on this or not?” But the important point here is: who made them come together as Blessing candidates? You must go back to find your motivation for receiving the Blessing. Since True Parents are the ones that made them come together, you cannot try to resolve matters horizontally.
Where does the Fall begin? The Fall starts from forgetting God's motive and aim in creating us. God told Eve, “Do not eat of the fruit,” yet Eve disregarded God’s Words and did not think about the motive behind them.
Therefore, if we lose the purpose, motive, and meaning of our life in our lives, we will flow horizontally. It is like a sailing ship without a compass.
Therefore, in our life of faith, we must be clear about our goals, visions, and motives. And we have to ask ourself fundamental questions; “Who am I? What do I exist for?” It's about where we are going. If we forget the motive behind God creating us, Satan will soon enter horizontally. Therefore, we must live our life thoroughly centered on God’s will, not centered on our will.
Even when we ourself decide our matching partner, we shouldn't decide because 'I like it' or 'I hate it.' Its motives and decisions must come purely from heaven. So we must ask Heaven. Even if we do not get an answer, we will not make a mistake if we make a final decision from God's point of view with all our heart and soul.
When I matched my three children, all of them received an answer from the spiritual world, from God, through their dream. Even my couple had the same kind of answer.
I think most people can receive answers through dreams. But somehow if people (invested) their effort and hard work but could not get an answer, then it is very important for them to make a sincere conditions – for 40 days or one month or two or three – and completely empty their mind and decide centering on God’s point of view, then they will not make a mistake.
Without substantial prayer or jeongseong conditions just following our own physical feeling, “Oh, this boy is not handsome; this girl is not so beautiful” or (pointing out) a character difference centering on a human point of view, we will surely miss it.
Some families are in conflict over whether they should live together or divorce, even after being blessed. But the important point here is: who made them come together as Blessing candidates?
They must go back to find their motivation for receiving the Blessing. Since True Parents are the ones who made them come together, they cannot try to resolve matters horizontally.
Of course, there are some cases that have Chapter Two issues, or completely ignore God and True Parents and completely leave the church. There are different issues.
However, most (couples) try to serve God and love True Parents but somehow their relationship is not so good. They have different characters, and this and that. But we can solve the problems in these kinds of cases if we think about our motivation. Our motivation comes from God. We should not decide by our own faith.
God always looks at a person's motives. If the motive is self-centered, Satan eventually takes it. If the motive is for the sake of the whole and for God, God surely takes responsibility. Therefore, the motive must be pure.
The motivation comes from God. The motivation (should be) for the sake of others, for the sake of the parents. If our motivation is centered on ourself, God cannot intervene at all. How important motivation is!
The Motive for Receiving the Blessing and the Reason for Conflicts After the Blessing
2. In the end, the reason you have conflicts with your spouse after receiving the Blessing is because you become the subject partner instead of True Parents. The Blessing is not about True Parents accommodating to our requests; we must accommodate to True Parents’ wish. Why did you receive the Blessing? Blessed families’ motive for meeting is not to have conflicts with each other. The motive for the Blessing began with hope. Isn’t that right? When we received the Blessing, everyone began with hope. Also, it began with True Parents’ hope as the motive and with the heart of serving True Parents. Wasn’t that the motive? Belonging to True Parents was the motive for the being called “I,” so I obeyed True Parents and received the Blessing. However, if you say that you and your partner’s personalities “don’t go well” with each other and feel displeased or distressed, you are someone who has lost their first motive.
In the end, the reason we have conflicts with our spouse after receiving the Blessing is because we become the subject partner instead of True Parents. The Blessing is not about True Parents accommodating our requests; we must accommodate True Parents’ wish. Heaven does not adjust to the object partner, the object partner should adjust to heaven.
We need to be very clear; who is subject and who is object.
Why did we receive the Blessing? Blessed families’ motive for meeting is not to have conflicts with each other. The motive for blessing was received with a sense of calling and hope to receive it for the sake of God’s will.
I received the Blessing thinking that receiving the Blessing would make God and True Parents happy and that this would fulfill their will. In this way, the blessing began with the motive of fulfilling the wish of God and True Parents. Isn't that the motivation? The fact that ‘I’ belongs to my parents motivated me to obey True Parents and receive the Blessing.
However, if we say that we and our partner’s personalities “don’t go well” with each other and feel displeased or distressed, we are someone who has lost their first motive.
Consequences of Forgetting the First Motive
3. If I forget the first motive that was related to God and just give and receive horizontally, I will be agonized. Why is that? It is because I create a reciprocal relationship with things of no value. If I give in to things of no value, I will be disappointed and agonized. So, I cannot be struck down by horizontal matters or be dominated there. I cannot be dominated by any consequences, environment, or situations.
Where do most people who are caught in tests make mistakes? Rather than in their God-centered motive, it is when they are struck by horizontal results. Even if my heart has the motive, “ I live by Heaven” or “I will live in peace,” if someone ignores me, I get upset and feel bad. Everyone makes mistakes, throwing away their motives and being controlled by results. Therefore, we must look closely at our motives.
If we forget the first motive that was related to God and just give and receive horizontally, we will be agonized. Why is that? It is because we create a reciprocal relationship with things of no value.
If we give in to things of no value, we will be disappointed and agonized. So, we cannot be struck down by horizontal matters or be dominated there. We cannot be dominated by any consequences, environment, or situations.
There are tests given to us by God and the spirit world in our course of faith, but rather than in our God-centered motive, it happens when we are struck by horizontal results. Even if our heart has the motive, “ I live by Heaven” or “I will live in peace,” if someone ignores us, we get upset and feel bad.
Then we have already lost our first motivation.
Many tests may come to us. The environment is not always the right environment. That is why in order to keep our first motivation, we need to know how to handle the environment. The environment always tries to test us. Sometimes there are different situations. In order to go forward we need to remind ourself again and again what our motivation is. ...
When Noah built the ark on the top of Mt. Ararat, he always kept his first motivation. “God gave me this goal.” He reminded himself often of his motivation. Many people insulted him and persecuted him, but Noah kept going because he always thought of his first motivation. He had received the order from God and always kept his first motivation.
If we lose our first motivation and goal and God’s vision, Satan immediately invades. Who is a righteous guy? One who keeps his first motivation all the time. When we are inspired and have a determination and first motivation, how long can we keep (doing it)? If some environment comes, if someone persecutes us and insults us, then we can easily forget and get upset, right? That is why we always need to remind ourself of our motivation.
Fallen human beings who are hit by the environment horizontally, throw away their motives, are governed by the results, and make mistakes. Therefore, we must take a good look at our original motives.
When we remember our original motivation, we always need to remind ourself (of it) and meditate (on it). Then our first motivation becomes stronger than before, two or three times stronger. Without reminding ourself and without prayer, without jeonseong, our motivation becomes looser and looser and later on has no more power.
We always need to have give-and-take with God’s word and then with your good Abel and to get a stronger motivation than before. Then we can go forward.
Keep Your First Motive Well
4. I cannot be controlled by the environment or waiver due to some results. Therefore, the solution to this is ‘Be thorough in the motive’ and ‘Let’s preserve the motive we have in our position.’ In the Bible, it says “Do not turn out the lamp.” If I lose the lamp light and become controlled by results, my spirit will definitely become dark and weak, and anguish will arise. Therefore, only when my motives are thorough will I have the drive and hope. Only when your motives are thorough will things happen as you wish.
In order not to stumble in our life of faith, my heart to treasure the motive I had in the beginning must be thorough. Do not forget that the motive you set will always give you strength. Therefore, if your motive becomes clouded and uncertain, you will lose strength. Therefore, the motive that you had must always become the cause.
We shouldn't be dominated by circumstances or shaken by any result. If we are easily offended, feel sorry for, get jealous or envious, or are persecuted or ignored by the people around us, we will lose all of our first motivation.
Since I came to America, I was determined to keep Morning Devotion no matter what. Even though many situations (came up), even though sometimes I was physically very tired, sometimes I need to travel here and there, I needed to record the speech. Many challenges came (to me). But I always reminded myself of my first motivation: why I started Morning Devotion. Every morning, every day I prepared for it whenever I had time. I received so much stimulation! I have more power to go forward. Motivation is very important.
When we receive the Blessing, what was our motivation? Why did we receive the Blessing? We need to remind ourself: what is the meaning of the Blessing? How can we build a relationship with our spouse, no matter what. If our spouse betrays us, I still have my jjak sarang with my wife or husband or children. We need to always remind ourself of our first motivation. Those who always remind themselves of their first motivation, who keep their first motivation and determination we call that guy what? A righteous guy. Righteousness means no matter what we never change. Why do we call Noah a righteous man? He never changed for 120 years. He kept his first motivation. We call him righteous because he never changed, never lost his first motivation.
Therefore, the solution to this is ‘Be thorough in the motive’ and ‘Let’s preserve the motive we have in our position.’ We must remember the words from the Bible that says, “Do not turn out the lamp.”

People receive the Blessing as a young man or woman (and promise): “No matter what, I will keep absolute purity! No matter what kind of sexual environment comes and attacks me, I will keep absolute purity!” We call that kind of person a righteous person. It is not simple because the world is so secular! It is such an adulterous environment! Keeping purity is not simple. Keeping fidelity between husband and wife is not simple, but always we need to remind (ourself) of our first motivation.
Today I spoke about “Keep our first motivation very well.”

(Response to testimony) True Father is really a genius creating the providence of the ambassador for peace. It is a great strategy. Everybody loves to get that kind of ambassador for peace certificate. We can approach the academic area, the political area, the business area, any kind of area. Father gave us such a wonderful vision and strategy.
I am thinking that even ACLC ministers need to get this ambassador for peace certificate and become very powerful. They can become ambassadors for peace in the religious sphere.
We can do this in the business, political and academic spheres. It is so powerful. ...
We did a wonderful one day introductory seminar in Los Angeles. ... We need to organize that kind of beautiful seminar for 120 (ambassadors for peace). Then I will go to your area!♦
