Key Points
The providence of restoring the position of the eldest son and daughter, which Satan occupied, is the providence of restoration.
And then it is to regain the position of lost parents and lost kingship based on that foundation.
To restore the right of the eldest son, of the parents, of the king, and of the royal family, we must first become a filial son and a filial daughter who possess true love.
The more a person sheds blood and tears for his or her brothers and sisters in place of their parents, the deeper, wider and higher will be the love he or she receives.
God’s ideal and vision for us is to become the creator and lord of creation.
The fall is to give up eternity for a moment of love, and true love is to overcome a moment of temptation for eternity.
Adam and Eve should have lived with the vision that “I will become a true child, a true couple, a true parent, and the owner of love in all things.”
We are the substance of the filial piety that can make God's dream come true.
Because Adam and Eve did not fulfill their portion of responsibility, they could not be established as the masters of all things and the second creator.
“I” was born according to God’s will and should live centering on God's wishes, visions, and dreams. They become the purpose of our life and the way to live a beautiful life.
We are the substantial object partner of God's wish.
The essence of our existence is the original heart of longing.
When we know for certain God's will, vision, plan, and hope for us, unimaginable power will come to us vertically, our spirit self will be strengthened, and horizontally we will be able to converse with people we respect and receive encouragement and guidance.
As children we idolized our parents, but our han is that we came to realize that they are in conflict and that we are alone.
We discover to our chagrin that the environment of fallen humans is one in which our heart is not easily exchanged with others, in which no one knows our wishes and in which we are constantly in conflict.
When we learn in the Divine Principle that God is the source and purpose of our existence and that he is miserable, this awakens our heart of filial piety to relieve his han and fulfill his wishes for us.
True Parents have taught us who God is and who we are, our purpose of life, the existence of Satan and the spiritual world, and the blueprint for our life and our restoration. For this we are eternally grateful.

I was so happy to hear the Cheon Won Gung project update and news from our Dr. Hendricks.
Yesterday, I had a breakfast meeting with the key leaders of New York City. They are Rev. Miilhan Stephens, Rev. Juanita Pierre-Louis, Rev. Dasse Diarra, and Rev. Joy Theriot. We had a very beautiful meeting.
Ilya & Diane Hack visited me before going to Atlanta to have an inauguration ceremony as pastors of the Georgia Family Church and District Pastors. We had a beautiful meeting. I really appreciate them. Before going to Atlanta, Ga, they came to me and greeted me. They wanted to get some advice before starting their new mission. Such a filial heart, beautiful heart! I really love Diane and Ilya, our second generation. I hope Atlanta, Georgia, church supports their leadership. Our second generation is coming up one by one more and more. I also really appreciate Naokimi encouraging our second generation to take ownership.
Today I’d like to talk about “The Path of Life for All Humankind” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.

Before seeking to excel on the world stage, humans first have to excel as the original family of Adam and Eve. Had Adam and Eve taken their places as the lineal prince and princess before God, they would have been the most exalted among all men and women. However, they fell and lost their rightful positions of the elder son and daughter, the crown prince and princess. This tragedy has remained throughout human history. That is why humankind has traveled a path of life in search of the positions of first son and first daughter so that we might recover God's true love. If we are to receive God's true love, we cannot live selfishly, centering on our own interests. Instead, we need to live for the sake of God and humankind as our brothers and sisters. The more a person sheds blood and tears for his or her brothers and sisters in place of their parents, the deeper, wider and higher will be the love he or she receives.
This is the son and daughter we have to become if we are to inherit everything from our parents. Every man and woman will walk this path. Even if we have to face death ten times or a hundred times, we have to continue our search for God's true love. This is the supreme path of life. The Divine Principle of the Unification Church teaches that the Fall occurred when human beings left the realm of God's true love. Restoration means to return to that realm. When a person enters the realm of such love, that person can merely look at his or her body and praise it tens of thousands of times. In that world, you know that your own body is what receives God's true love. Words cannot express such joy. This wonderful world is called the kingdom of heaven.
Before seeking to excel on the world stage, humans first have to excel as the original family of Adam and Eve. Had Adam and Eve taken their places as the lineal prince and princess before God, they would have been the most exalted among all men and women.
(If) Adam and Eve (had) perfected themselves and become true filial children and a true filial (son and) daughter, they (would) automatically (have) become the rulers of all things who (could have) ruled the entire cosmos and become the best on the world stage. Therefore, our goal in life is to become true people, true filial children and filial (sons and) daughters.
However, they fell and lost their rightful positions of the elder son and daughter, the crown prince and princess. This tragedy has remained throughout human history as you know.
That is why humankind has traveled a path of life in search of the positions of first son and first daughter so that we might recover God's true love. Therefore, God's providence of restoration is to restore the lost positions of the eldest son and eldest daughter.
The providence of restoring the position of the eldest son and the eldest daughter, which Satan occupied, is the providence of restoration. And then it is to regain the position of lost parents and lost kingship based on that foundation.
To restore the right of the eldest son, the right of the parents, the right of the king, and the right of the royal family, we must first become a filial son and a filial daughter who possess true love. In that case, we should live, not centering on ourself, but centering on God and humankind, our brothers and sisters.
The more a person sheds blood and tears for his or her brothers and sisters in place of their parents, the deeper, wider and higher will be the love he or she receives. On this path, we have to go through death ordeals ten or a hundred times, and we must constantly seek God's true love even after death.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: The Human Fall 29: The Reason God Did Not Intervene in the Fall of the First Human Ancestors
• God, being omniscient and omnipotent, must have known about the deviant acts of the first human ancestors which were leading to their Fall. Why, then, did God not intervene to prevent the Fall?
• If God were to intervene in the lives of human beings who are still in the state of immaturity, they would be unable to fulfill their responsibilities and acquire God's creative nature, failing to qualify as rulers of all things.
• Consequently, it was in order to bless human beings as the lords of creation that God did not interfere in the fallen acts of immature human beings.
3. To Make Human Beings the Lords of Creation
1. In order to prevent the Fall, you shouldn’t think only the commandment, “not to eat of the fruit,” but also God’s ideals and visions.
2. God’s ideal and vision for me will be (to become the) the creator and lord of creation.
3. When you think that the reason God did not interfere was to raise me to become lords of creation, we can overcome the line of the Fall by gratitude and praise to Him.
The fall is to give up eternity for a moment of love, and true love is to overcome a moment of temptation for eternity.
We must clearly realize what God's vision and Will for us are. We can overcome the temptation of reality only when we have a vision. They were Adam and Eve, who should have lived with the vision that “I would become a true child, a true couple, a true parent, and the owner of love in all things.”
One of the lacking points of our current younger generation is that they don’t have vision. In our family we should not just feed them and ask them to sleep well and study well. The important thing is that we need to give a very clear vision to our children. If their vision is very clear, they can overcome any reality, any temptation. But if they do not have clear vision, a clear goal about what to do for the future, it is easy for them to be tempted by the secular environment.
What kind of vision do we need to provide for our children? When they have God’s vision clearly, when they know God’s will clearly and have clear goals, they can overcome any kind of temptation.
When they enter the university and study, why do they need to study? If they have a clear view, then they will have a passion to study and will work hard.
What does it mean to be unfilial? Rather than being God's will, vision, and ideal for me, I was governed by reality. If Adam and Eve thought that they were the substance of the filial piety that made God's dream come true, they would have never fallen.
Therefore, we must not forget, even for a moment, that we are the reality of God's and True Parents' wishes to realize their dreams.
God’s Han (resentment) and sorrow
God, being omniscient and omnipotent, had reason that He wasn’t able to interfere in actions of His son even though He was watching it. That is his Han (resentment). That is why God is sorrowful God. In the Bible it is written, “The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth.” (Genesis 6:6)
We can say that the history after the Fall was the history of sorrowful God. In Adam’s family, when Cain stoned Abel to death, God couldn’t interfere with them. In Noah’s family, He couldn’t interfere with Ham’s mistake. In Abraham’s family, He couldn’t interfere with the failure of Abraham’s offering even though He was watching it. In Moses’ family, He couldn’t interfere with Israelites who lost their faith even though He was watching it.
Furthermore, even after they entered the land of Canaan, God was still sorrowful God.
Those prophets who appealed to Israelites with tears and were held in contempt and got disdainful treatment were speaking for the heart of God. What was worse, He couldn’t interfere with the situation that Jesus, who was the only begotten Son and came to the earth as a fruit of saints, was crucified even though He was watching it.
For that reason, there is the holy song, “Heart of the Father,” that people who know the Principle shout and sing by holding on to the heart of God. This song was written by a high school girl, Young Hee Lee, who attended the Yamok church in the early days of the church, 1950’s. After she was punished by the school because she attended the Unification Church, she received the lyrics from heaven and composed it in accordance with the music of “Mother Blessing.”
Although God is omniscient and omnipotent, He is a God who cannot do anything that interferes with man's portion of responsibility. If God interferes with the portion of responsibility of human beings in the period of immaturity, then He is ignoring the principle of creation that man must perfect himself through the portion of responsibility.
Furthermore, Adam and Eve, who have not fulfilled their portion of responsibility, cannot be established as the masters of all things. And it will not be possible to place them in the position of an unqualified God and the second Creator.
We already know this holy song, the Heart of the Father, and we know the content of this song. God’s hard work, his jeongseong, his sorrowful heart to save human beings without interfering with man’s portion of responsibility are well described in this holy song.
<Heart of the Father>
1. Longing to live in deepest joy and love eternal, God was ever seeking for a people all His own. Who can know the yearning of His lonely broken heart? Tears were falling as a river through His countless years alone. Out of all the multitude there was none who knew how the Father’s heart was aching, grieving after man.
2. Glorious God, who started life throughout the heavens, Bore the deepest torture as He saw His children die. Every day He seeks the beauty lost inside our hearts, Tenderly with love He leads us back to life with Him on high. How many fathoms deep is His aching heart? All the tears He shed for earth became an endless sea.
3. Deep from within the heart of heaven came the secret, Now the mighty word, the trumpet call will surely sound. But as in the time of Noah people laugh and mock, Satisfied to wander aimless in the darkness underground. Fearful is the time to come when the price is paid! One and all will face the judgment from an angry God.
4. Quickly believe, my people quickly turn and follow! You can be enfolded in the warmth of Father's heart. All the joy that life can offer calls us home to Him, Now He calls you to be near Him never again to be apart. When at last we run to Him, how He'll cry with joy! All rejoicing, all together now and evermore.
Such deep and beautiful content!
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: I am the Substantial Object Partner of God's Wish
We need to know that we are the Substantial Object Partner of God's Wish.
1. Who am I? I am the substantial object partner of the wish of the one who created me, I am the one who has to fulfill the vision and wishes of the one who created me, and I was born because of the wishes of the one who created me. I must know that I was not born because I wished to be. Therefore, I am the one who needs myself to live according to the will of the one who created me.
But how do we know this? This can be seen by looking at the results presented. You can see that in your heart, ever since you were a child, you longed for your parents. You want to be with them, and you don't want to be away from their arms. In this way, my existence has the essence of the original heart, the heart of longing. If there had been no Fall, human beings would have grown up very eagerly, without tears or pain, because they would originally only form relationships with good parents. That kind of desire that springs from my original nature was to become the driving force and helps me grow.
Who am I? I am not someone who was born because I desired it.
Did you want to be born on the earth because you desired to be born?
I am someone who was born with the wishes and dreams of the One who brought me into existence. Knowing this early is God's purpose of creation.
Who am I? We need to know our identity. I was not born because I desired it.
Therefore, I must clearly realize and know that I am the one who lives centering on God's wishes, visions, and dreams. When that happens, the purpose of my life becomes clear and I can live a beautiful life.
Many people don't know why they were born. And because they think their life is theirs, they try to live according to their own opinions and will. As a result, they end up living a life that has nothing to do with God's wishes, and eventually leads to an unhappy life.
'I', as an existence is the substantial object of the wish of the one who created me. When God created me, he had a dream, a great will, and a wish. Therefore, I am the one who has to fulfill the vision and wishes of the one who created me. I must know clearly that I was born because of the wishes of the person who has created me.
Many people do not know this.
I can see that in my heart, since I was a child, I long for my parents, want to be with them, and do not want to leave their arms. In this way, the existence of me has the essence of the original heart, the heart of longing.
We don’t want to separate. There is an inseparable relationship between parents and child.
The same thing (is true) between God and us. (There) is the parent-and-child relationship (between us). It is an inseparable relationship. We need to know who “I” am: “I” am the substantial object partner of the wish of the one who created me. That is why we need to follow God’s wishes. We need to know his dream and his wishes for us. Because of that vision, he created us. We are the object partner; we are not a causal being, right? We need to adjust according to his dream and wishes. When we do that, our life becomes a very happy life.
But if we insist on our own thinking and our own ideas and we don’t care about God’s wishes and dreams, in the end our life becomes a very unhappy life.
Why Can't we Gain Strength in our Lives?
2. Do we not gain strength in our lives today? That is because the vertical power is weak. If the power that comes vertically is weak, we suffer spiritual deprivation and become distressed. We don't know what it is, but we feel a lot of pain and feel contradictory. To put it simply, we suffer from the dryness of the vertical shimjeong. Since we don't receive the power that comes vertically, we don't have the love and feelings to forgive others, we don't have the feelings from our hearts, and we don't have anyone around us who can respect us.
In fact, if we have someone we respect, we can discuss, encourage, we can receive guidance from them. However, because our minds are horizontal, we don't know where our minds broke down. If I had someone I respected, it would have been easy to be motivated and be friendly with him, but I can't express my feelings because there is no one like that and there is no one who is the subject of true love. This is the han, the sorrow, of a fallen human being. It's painful and distressing because nothing works.
Why can't we gain strength in our lives today? First, it is because we do not know God's will, vision, plan, and hope for us. When we know this for certain, unimaginable power will come vertically.
If the power that comes vertically is weak, we suffer spiritual deprivation and become distressed. We don't know what it is, but we feel a lot of pain and feel contradictory.
“Why do I have no power? What is going on? Why do I feel emptiness and loneliness?” We do not know (why). What is the main reason? Why (do we) have no power?
It is because the vertical heart that comes from God is dry and we suffer because we do not know what God wants for us.
Most people who do not receive the strength that comes vertically flow horizontally and humanistically, so they do not have the love or heart to forgive others.
As a result, there is no one around us who can respect us. If we know God's wishes and dreams for us and feel God's spiritual power coming vertically, our spirit self will be strengthened, and horizontally we will be able to discuss with people we respect, receive encouragement, and receive guidance.
But when our vertical lines become ambiguous, our mind flows horizontally and we don't know where my mind is broken.
If we had someone we respected, it would have been easy to be motivated and be friendly with him, but we can't express our feelings because there is no one like that and there is no one who is the subject of true love. This is the han, the sorrow, of a fallen human being. It's painful and distressing because nothing works.
Our Han and Sorrow
3. When do we worry? When do we have pain? If you look at our environment, you will discover that it is a country where people cannot give and receive amicably no matter where they go. An environment in which my heart is not easily exchanged, an environment in which no one knows my wishes and cannot be resolved, an environment in which my heart is not easily exchanged with anyone and (is) constantly in conflict. Due to the environment where we cannot do these things, we are constantly worried. Aren't we the ones who suffered from conflicts with our parents, siblings, and people around us because of these things?
When we were young, we thought that our parents were number one. I was happy to be with my parents. When I went with my parents, I was just comfortable and happy, even though I didn't know the circumstances around me or the path I had to take. However, as we grew older, we were surprised to learn that our parents were also conflicted people. We were saddened when we saw our parents shaken. When I see my parents conflict, I realize how pitiful we are as children.
Fallen humans easily conflict with anyone. But then they discover that no matter where they go, they cannot genuinely have a give and receive relationship.
What is the environment of fallen humans? It is an environment in which their heart is not easily exchanged, an environment in which no one knows their wishes and cannot be resolved, an environment in which their heart is not easily exchanged with anyone and constantly in conflict. Due to the environment where they cannot do these things, they are constantly worried.
Since we are fallen human beings, aren't we the ones who suffered from conflicts even at home, with our parents, with our siblings, and with the people around us?
When we were young, we thought our parents were the best, but as we grew older, we were surprised and despairing to learn that our parents were also conflicted.
When we see our parents whom we believed in so much shaken, we feel hurt and sad. When I see my parents’ conflict, I realize how pitiful we are as children.
This is reality. We do not know why; we do not know the reason. But since we came to know the Divine Principle, the Principle of Creation, the fall of man and restoration, wow! We know very clearly why we are struggling so much, our reality. I really appreciate that our True Parents discovered the Divine Principle and came to know who “I” am.
The Path of Original Nature I must Walk is the Path of the Principle
4. When we were young, because we did not receive the love of True Parents, we felt lonely from an early age, and we tasted sadness that we could not tell anyone about. From my point of view, other people don't think so, and everyone seems to be doing well with their parents supporting them financially. But I wondered why my family couldn't be like that, compared and agonized over it.
Since humans do not know that they have fallen nature, they easily compare themselves with others and feel lonely, sad, and agonized. However, as human beings gradually grow up, they think that others live truthfully and kindly, but then realize that 'other people are like that too.' So, how do we solve this problem? We must know the principle and get all the answers. And as I obeyed the rites, systems, and Abel according to the Word, I confirmed and realized that this was the path my original nature should follow.
When we were young, because we did not receive the love of our Parents, we felt lonely from an early age.
And we tasted sadness that we could not tell anyone about; it became a life that we lived struggling to understand why we should live this way.
At first, it is easy for everyone to think that this suffering and misfortune is only for them and their family, but after confirming that the people around them are the same, they start to think more deeply about what life is all about.
Since humans do not know that they have fallen nature, they easily compare themselves with others and feel lonely, sad, and agonized.
So, how do we solve this problem? We come to receive and know all the answers by reading the Divine Principle, studying the Divine Principle.
If I had not read the Divine Principle, I would not have known whether I have fallen nature or not. I would not have known I have a contradiction (in myself). ...
How much do we appreciate the Divine Principle? How much do we appreciate True Parents? How much do we appreciate Morning Devotion? True Parents have shared so many words and (helped us) to clearly understand who “I” am, what (“I” should) do. We can see that outside people do not know anything about it.
We really need to appreciate that God and True Parents have taught us in so much detail. All that remains is for us to practice it. I really appreciate how much True Parents have given me. They taught us who God is, the existence of the spiritual world and of Satan. They taught us how to restore (ourself) step by step: Foundation of Faith, Foundation of Substance and the Foundation of Heart, how to realize God’s kingdom on the earth, and what our 5% portion of responsibility is.
True Parents gave me the Blessing, my wife, 3 children, 5 grandchildren. Wow! How much I am indebted to True Parents. I cannot pay (them) back. Because of True Parents my character is much better, I have really reduced my fallen nature day by day, my relationships with people are much deeper. I appreciate each of them and each of all things because of whom? True Parents. My level of heart has been upgraded so much(?). I really grew up. I am eternally grateful to God and True Parents.

Today I talked about “I am the Substantial Object Partner of God's Wish and True Parents’ Wish.” Why do I exist? In order to accomplish God’s dream, God’s wish. We need to know this very clearly. We should not insist on our own opinion nor go by our own will. We are the object partner of God. He has a dream for us. He has a schedule for us. He has a plan for us. When we know his blueprint and plan very well, surely our life can be a very happy life and we can find very clearly the purpose of our life.
