God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World II - May 11, 2023
Key Points
True Mother wants members and affiliated organizations to focus on witnessing above all else, and not hold any “events” for now.
We should teach the Divine Principle and True Parents’ life course.
We filial blessed families need to help True Parents fulfill their pledge to heaven “to obliterate all national divisions and barriers and to establish the kingdom of the peaceful, ideal world” and to “nurture and protect this blessed planet Earth.”
Because of the fall, Adam failed to become the Tree of Life.
True Father became the Tree of Life and, together with True Mother, opens the way for us to be reborn and blessed as trees of true love in the family course and trees of lineage in the tribal course.
As the representatives of True Parents, our HTM mission is to restore many people as Trees of Life.
To be reborn we must arm ourself with God’s word which is his love and life. Then our mind is renewed and our attitude changes. We abandon past habits, traditions, formalities, and rituals.
Then we will speak with hyojeong language, hear discerning good from evil, and see with heart from God’s perspective.
To change our lineage our heart must become a God-centered original heart and our eyes, ears, and mouths must become senses of our spirit and tools of God’s love.
Resurrection is practicing the course of repeating rebirth each day.
We are perfected as the substances of eternal life while going through the course of resurrection.

(Response to sharing: Dr. Yong in Korea) True Mother is very healthy and strong. As you know, she has changed many structures and the leadership here, (and) especially in America. Now yesterday and today she has been very busy reorganizing ... especially in Korea.
She says that from now one we need to really focus on church growth, more than any other (activity). She does not encourage any event now; she asks us to focus on witnessing. Korea will have a new structure centered on witnessing. She is encouraging affiliated organizations to focus on witnessing as well.
Also, we need to teach True Parents’ life course.
America is doing a great job!
She asks affiliated organizations also to teach the Divine Principle.

Today I’d like to talk about “God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World II” from True Mother’s Anthology, Volume 2.

But my husband and I are not yet satisfied, because we began our lives' work at the command of Heaven. Reverend Moon has come as the True Parent of humankind with God's anointing and he is determined to keep his promise to Him. He is determined to obliterate all national divisions and barriers that have poisoned this earth and to establish the kingdom of the peaceful, ideal world, where all people everywhere can live hand in hand.
Ladies and gentlemen! The Age After the Coming of Heaven that God and True Parents have opened is a time of dramatic change. You have the mission to make this era blossom and bear fruit in blessing and glory. Therefore, please become Heaven's emissaries, fulfilling the dual missions of the Peace Kingdom Police Force and Peace Kingdom Corps. Serve humanity under the banner of the Universal Peace Federation, which is working to take up the role of an Abel-type United Nations. Worthy citizens of the world, if not you, then who will nurture and protect the blessed families and this blessed planet Earth that God has given us?
True Mother said, “My husband and I began our lives' work at the command of Heaven. We have come as the True Parents of humankind with God's anointing, and we are determined to keep (our) promise to Him. We are determined to obliterate all national divisions and barriers and to establish the kingdom of the peaceful, ideal world, where all people everywhere can live hand in hand.
From now on, as the representatives of True Parents, we, who have ushered in the Era of Cheon Il Guk with the Age After the Coming of Heaven, must become filial sons and daughters who help True Parents to fulfill the matters they pledged to Heaven.
True Parents plead (with) us: “if not we, the blessed families, who will nurture and protect this blessed planet Earth that God has given us?”
The era of the Cheon Il Guk means we take full responsibility. We have no more complaints: “My continental director is like that. My national leader is like that. My center leader is like that. My senior people are like that. My husband is like that.” We must not blame anyone.
The era of Cheon Il Guk is the era of ownership. We need to fully take ownership. Even True Parents really pledge, “No matter what, I will fulfill my own portion of responsibility.”
True Father is already gone. For more than eight years True Mother has been fully responsible to establish God’s Kingdom of Heaven on Earth and in Heaven.
Who will be responsible? If we rely on just one of the true children or grandchildren, we cannot establish God’s Kingdom of Heaven. What is the best way? We must fully take responsibility. If everybody has that kind of ownership, surely we will be able to establish God’s Kingdom of Heaven. If we just rely on International Headquarters or the American headquarters, it is impossible. That is why we need to think, “I am the owner.” We need a paradigm shift. We have to be fully responsible as the owner of Cheon Il Guk.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: Eschatology 8 - Human History is the History of the Providence of Restoration 4 -The Words of the Bible
• Fourth, let us investigate this issue from the words of the Bible.
• The purpose of human history lies in the restoration of the Garden of Eden with the tree of life (Gen. 2:9) standing at its center.
• Because the first human ancestors fell, the Garden of Eden was claimed by Satan, and the way to the tree of life was blocked (Gen. 3:24).
• Human history began with Alpha and will end with Omega. At the end of history, the hope of fallen people will be to enter the restored Garden of Eden and approach the long-lost tree of life (Rev. 22:13).
• Thus, the Bible teaches that the goal of history is the restoration of the Garden of Eden with Christ, who is to come as the tree of life, as its center.
Based on this let’s study Father’s word.
God is Searching for the Lost Tree of Life
<7-303> God is searching for the person who can replace lost Adam and Eve. The Bible states that Jesus is the last Adam. It means he is the Tree of Life. Therefore, we can deduce that Jesus came as a person who took the place of the lost Tree of Life.
We must understand that when God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, He was in great sorrow. But when God had to send Jesus back on earth again after he was killed, He was in even more sorrow than before. God sent His son as a mission-bearer, but His son couldn’t complete his mission. Jesus couldn’t experience a day in which God and His son could feel joy together. Accordingly, he must come back again as the Tree of Life. In other words, the day will come when God can feel joy with Jesus, and human beings as sons and daughters can build a relationship with God and the returning Christ, thus releasing God’s sorrowful heart after 6,000 years.
God is searching for the person who can replace lost Adam and Eve. I Corinthians 15:45 states that Jesus is the last Adam. It says that Adam is the Tree of Life. Therefore, we can deduce that Jesus came as a person who took the place of the lost Tree of Life.
According to True Father’s words, the first Tree of Life symbolizes Adam, the second Tree of Life symbolizes Jesus, the third tree of life symbolizes True Parents, and the fourth tree of life symbolizes all blessed families.
That is why Father declared the Era of the Fourth Adam. The Fourth Adam is not one of the true children, not one of the true grandchildren. The fourth Tree of Life symbolizes all blessed families. That is why everybody should by a Tree of Life.
According to the Bible, the creation of human beings is the work to restore the Tree of Life. So, only when all mankind receives the Blessing centering on True Parents and become Trees of Life can the history of restoration conclude. Therefore, as blessed families, we need to help many people become Trees of Life through the HTM mission.
Now, to resolve God’s remaining sorrow, during this age of living together with True Parents, all people who have not received the Blessing yet must be restored as Trees of Life.
The Process of Growth of Tree
1. The Bible refers to human beings by comparing them to trees:
The Tree of Life, Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, an olive tree.
2. In the growth process of human beings, who are expressed as trees, there is the individual course, family course, and the tribal course centered on human beings’ portion of responsibility.
Adam and Eve first had to start off from the individual course. Adam, as the Tree of Life, and Eve, as the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, grew separately until the top of the growth stage.
Next, Adam and Eve would realize a couple and go on the family course as the Tree of Love. Finally, what remained was the tribal course, in which Adam and Eve, as a blessed family, multiply the blessing to those around them.
Man and woman grow separately as a Tree of Life and Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, then receive the Blessing and become one as a tree of love. The purpose of the tree of love is to multiply one’s blood lineage, not just one’s family level. We need to embrace our Cain. We need to multiply the Tree of Life more and more. That is our mission as a tribal messiah.
The Tree of Life is None Other Than the True Father
<72-142> When Adam and Eve fell in the Garden of Eden, the path to the Tree of Life was blocked. After they fell, God expelled them and blocked their path to the Tree of Life by stationing the cherubim with a flaming sword to guard it. The Tree of Life symbolizes perfected Adam, a perfected Father. However, due to the human Fall, the path to become True Parents was blocked. Then, when will it be open? It will be open when we meet True Parents. Therefore, the path that Christians have walked so far was the path to go inside the stomach of Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit. In other words, the path of Christianity so far has been to go inside the baby seeds in the bone of an unmarried man. It means human beings go inside spiritual seeds.
We Must be Able to Give up Everything in Order to Meet Christ at the Second Advent (Tree of Life)
<72-142> When the Returning Christ comes again with a substantial body, we must be born anew through the new Father and Mother, the new Bride and Groom by being the seeds in his stomach. Only if this happens, can we restore through indemnity our kinship of blood with Satan and be born anew as sons and daughters who win a substantial victory both spiritually and physically. Therefore, it is quite logical that God must prolong the providence of restoration until the Returning Christ comes. Do you understand? Since the Returning Christ comes in that context, we must be able to give up everything in order to meet him. This is the time when we must do anything in order to meet him; we must be able to give up even our nation, our tribe, our parents, our spouse, or anything else.
1. If we look at Genesis 3:24, it says, “After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden a cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.”
2. After Adam and Eve fell, God expelled them and blocked their path to the Tree of Life by stationing the cherubim with a flaming sword to guard it. Then the question was: who will open the path to the Tree of Life again?
3. Only the True Parents, who came with the mission of Jesus, can open that path. Opening the path to the Tree of Life can only be done through True Parents. As Jesus said, the True Parents, who come as the Returning Christ, must open that path, the truth, and the path of life.
4. But now, True Parents have given us the HTM mission. The HTM mission is our responsibility to restore many people as Trees of Life as the representatives of True Parents.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: Human Beings Must Be Perfected as the Substances of Eternal Life
What Is Rebirth?
1. What is rebirth? Rebirth means to be born again. Our eyes must be born again. Our ears and mouth must be born again. And our mind must be born again. We must not live according to the sinful habits of the past centering on our satanic lineage. In order for our mind as well as our eyes, ears, and mouth to be reborn, we must first arm ourselves with the Word of God. If we do not arm ourselves with the Word of God, we just see as our physical eyes go, hear as our physical ears hear, and speak as our physical mouths want to speak. Would our eyes, ears, and mouths be reborn if that happens? Therefore, if we do not arm ourselves with the Word of God, we will never change. If I deviate from the Word, my mouth becomes a mouth with fallen nature. My eyes becomes eyes with fallen nature of seeing according to habits of the past. My ears also hear centered on my fallen nature. That is why True Parents told us to interchange and intersect everything.
What must we do to be reborn? What is the most important condition in being reborn? It is to first arm ourselves with the Word of God. God’s Word is His love and life. If we do not arm ourselves with the Word of God, there is no way for human beings to be reborn.
When we are moved by the Word, our mind is renewed and our attitude changes. Therefore, we have to be born again through God’s Word. When that happens, we go from all past habits, traditions, formalities, and rituals and meet a new world.
When we are stimulated and touched by the Word, not only does our mind become new but our eyes, ears, and mouth will also be born anew. So, to clear our satanic lineage and sinful habits of the past, we need very strong stimulation. That is the Word of God.
If we arm ourself with God’s Word, our mouth will become a mouth of Hyojeong and always use Hyojeong language, holy language. Our ears will know how to hear while distinguishing words of good from evil and words of spirit and flesh. And our eyes will become eyes of heart and try to see everything from God’s perspective.
Therefore, if we do not arm ourselves with the Word of God, we will never change. If we deviate from the Word, our mouth becomes a mouth with fallen nature. Our eyes becomes eyes with fallen nature of seeing according to habits of the past.
Our ears also hear centered on our fallen nature. That is why True Parents told us to interchange and intersect everything centering on God’s Word.
Intersect and Exchange Centered on God
2. The reason True Parents held the cross-cultural marriage Blessing was to intersect and exchange my fallen self with my original self. Intersecting and exchanging is not based on Satan’s lineage but rather centered on God’s lineage, that is, God’s heart.
Where is God’s heart? The heart of a mother who nurses her baby at her breast is the original heart, which is God’s heart (Pyeong Hwa Hun Gyeong). True Father said that the pure heart of a mother who nurses her baby at her breast is the very heart of God. Our eyes, ears, and mouth must become eyes, ears, and mouths based on such original heart. In other words, they must become eyes, ears, and mouths of our spirit. Are you hearing this for the first time? True Father said that our eyes, ears, mouth, and nose are tools of God’s love. This means that you cannot be self-centered and insist on your own way. If you do, you will be giving yourself to the devil.
We always need to keep in mind that the reason True Parents held the cross-cultural marriage Blessing had more internal meanings rather than external meanings. To cross or intersect and exchange means to intersect and exchange our fallen self with our original self. For us to intersect and exchange means for us to intersect and exchange from Satan’s lineage to God’s lineage. (Pyeonghwa Hun Gyeong)
Before intersecting and exchanging from Satan’s blood lineage to God’s blood lineage, our own change of heart must first take place. It must change from the self-centered heart to the God-centered heart. Once the change of heart takes place, change of lineage will automatically happen.
Our blood lineage changes depending on our change of heart. To do that, in our life of faith, our eyes, ears, and mouth must always become eyes, ears, and mouths based on such original heart. In other words, they must become eyes, ears, and mouths of our spirit. To be reborn, we must change ourselves in this way.
True Father said that our eyes, ears, mouth, and nose are tools of God’s love. This means that we cannot be self-centered and insist on our own way. If we do, we will be giving ourself to the devil.
Human Beings Must Be Perfected as the Substances of Eternal Life
3. Do not allow Satan to use your physical five senses organs. In other words, your eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hands, and feet must set vertical standards centered on God and become God’s eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hands, and feet. In this way, we should set our five sensory organs with standards of absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience towards God. God will always have compassion for and assist those who live with such view of faith.
When you let go of yourself, God will be with you. (Pyeong Hwa Hun Gyeong). That is why True Parents tell us to be reborn. Resurrection is practicing the course of repeating rebirth each day. We call rebirth being born over and over again and growing well each day. This is how human beings must be perfected as the substances of eternal life while going through the course of resurrection. In other words, we have to perfect our eternal life.
In our daily life, do we use our physical five sensory organs more? Or do we use our spiritual five sensory organs more? Are we always living with our spiritual five sensory organs being dominated by our physical five sensory organs? Or is it the other way and our physical five sensory organs are dominated by our spiritual five sensory organs?
Do not allow Satan to use our physical five senses organs. In other words, our eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hands, and feet must set vertical standards centered on God and become God’s eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hands, and feet and be used as God’s tools.
For example, our mouth: When we hear someone talk, we can know what kind of personality he has. Our mouth should be a holy mouth. We should always use hyojeong language, the language of heart. We should not criticize and blame others and complain about this and that.
Our mouth should be holy. In order for our mouth to become holy, we need to use filial language of heart.
If someone speaks loudly criticizing and blaming and complaining, wow! Only externally to hear what kind of language he uses, we can judge that person’s personality.
That is why a man of true love always needs to use Hyojeong language. You have never heard of that, right? I love that word. We need to respect even our own children and our spouse with hyojeong language. We need to use respectful language from the heart.
The five sensory organs of the physical body must completely live with the spiritual five sensory organs as its subject partner. In this way, we should live, setting our spiritual five sensory organs with standards of absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience towards God. God will always protect and assist those who live with such a view of faith.
People who are centered on their physical five sensory organs are completely self-centered. They see everything in a humanistic way, horizontally, and centered on themselves. That is why True Parents tell us to be reborn.
Our mouth, nose and ears need to be reborn. Our mind has to be reborn. How can we be reborn every day? We need to use our heart. We need to work centering on filial heart. We always need to live centering on God’s word. Then we can have an experience of resurrection and rebirth and growth every day.
Anyone who lives with God’s Word will experience being born again. That is why resurrection is practicing the course of repeating rebirth each day. What we need to know clearly is the truth that there is no rebirth or resurrection apart from the Word.
That is why God’s word is everything. Without God’s word, how can we experience rebirth and resurrection?
We call rebirth being born over and over again and growing well each day. This is how human beings must be perfected as the substances of eternal life while going through the course of resurrection. In other words, we have to perfect our eternal life.
