Ep 917 - God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World II Part 7
God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World II - April 30, 2023
Key Points
The restoration of humankind and the launching of the ideal family, nation and world are only possible with a change of blood lineage.
To become ideal people of ideal character who can create ideal families and God’s homeland, his ideal nation and the kingdom of the peaceful, ideal world, we need to be linked to his lineage.
The lineal relationship between parent and child is the only way through which God's lineage can be bequeathed and made to last forever.
The battle between God and Satan has ultimately been a battle of the conversion of lineage.
God’s key strategy in this battle is the messiah who comes as True Parents to be grafted into humankind with God's lineage, which God acknowledges and Satan cannot accuse.
Religion and science have both contributed substantially to the happiness and well-being of humanity despite our self-centered life and selfish culture.
But if we develop the heart to live for each other, then through revelations and wisdom from heaven humankind will develop rapidly both internally and externally.
Science should explain God's outward disposition, and religion should explain God's inward disposition, and both should reveal and praise his greatness.
Through logic, science has tried to understand the resultant world, religion has worked to unite hearts, and philosophy has been central to cultural history – all working separately.
True Parents have sought to unify them. All three should find God and unveil his will and heart.
Because of fallen nature we see all things through our physical eyes only, assume that we own ourself, our children, our spouse and our possessions, and thus perceive many things incorrectly.
Father said we live in an illusion.
If we were to see through the eyes of the spirit and heart centered on our original mind, we would know that we all – and all things – belong to God and would repent.
We would see others without preconceptions from their point of view, and from that of their parents and God.
Then we would treat all people as precious, and God would cooperate with us.
If we see others with the eyes of the heart, then we forgive, have compassion for, and value others as precious – even if they are disabled, of another race, or otherwise different from us.
Simply being aware of our breathing is breathing with our body, while valuing and feeling grateful for being able to breathe while thanking God for it is breathing with our heart.
The eyes of the heart see everything centered on the relationship with God.
Our heart is the holy of holies where God dwells. Our goal is to live in the heart.
Seeing with the eyes of the heart shifts our center of focus from ourself to others.
It allows us to be spiritually sensitive to our environment and to the feelings of others and to communicate heartistically.

Today I’d like to talk about “God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World II” from True Mother’s Anthology, Volume 2.
<This speech was given by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon between September 1 and October 14 during a 40-nation Victory and Complete Freedom Rally to Bring Universal Peace to the Fatherland and Hometown speaking tour. 115,116>
Hence, for us to become the ideal people envisioned by God, that is, people of ideal character, and to create ideal families, we first need to be linked to His lineage. To take it a step further, only when we are linked to God's lineage is it possible to create God's homeland, the ideal nation. Only when we are linked to God's lineage is it possible to establish the kingdom of the peaceful, ideal world. Please inscribe the importance of lineage in your hearts. I cannot emphasize this enough.
This is because the parent–child relationship is the highest and most important of all relationships, and the lineal relationship between parent and child is the only way through which God's lineage can be bequeathed and made to last forever. You must be clear on this point. Instead, false love, false life and false lineage have infested the earth. God’s love, life and lineage fell into the hands of the adulterer Satan, the enemy of love. Heaven and earth were suffocated and transformed into hell. The world became a wretched place, far from God's presence. Yet humanity to this day lives in ignorance of this. People are deluded into believing that the lineage of the enemy is the lifeline upon which the world depends. This is the wretched truth about humanity descended from the Fall. That is why we refer to this world as hell on earth.
From where should we restore the world and huhumankind that (is) centered on Satan's lineage? From where should we start with this basic and fundamental path of restoration? And where can God begin to find and establish the ideal family, nation, and world?
It starts with changing bloodlines. Centering on Satan's lineage, we cannot find and establish an ideal family or an ideal world. Hence, for us to become the ideal people envisioned by God, that is, people of ideal character, and to create ideal families, we first need to be linked to His lineage. Furthermore, only when we are linked to God's lineage is it possible to create God's homeland, the ideal nation, and to establish the kingdom of the peaceful, ideal world.
In that sense, keep in mind that the importance of lineage cannot be emphasized enough. We must know that the parent–child relationship is the highest and most important of all relationships, and the lineal relationship between parent and child is the only way through which God's lineage can be bequeathed and made to last forever.
So, the conclusion of the battle between God and Satan was ultimately a battle of conversion of lineage. Why is the Messiah important? This is because the Messiah who comes as the True Parents can be grafted into humankind with God's blood lineage, which God acknowledges and Satan cannot accuse.
Human restoration is changing the blood lineage. That is why in the restoration it has taken (such) a long time to send the messiah. Why is the messiah so precious? Only through the messiah can (we) change our blood lineage (into) God’s blood lineage. How precious the messiah is!
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: Eschatology 5 - Human History is the History of the Providence of Restoration 2 - The Progress of Religion and Science
• Second, considering the progress of religion and science, although they have been working independently with little connection to each other, religion and science inevitably must converge. Today they are on the threshold of reaching this destination, where they will resolve all their problems together in one united undertaking.
• This trend shows that human history has been walking the providential course to restore the original world.
Let’s study Father’s word.
The Contribution of Religion and Science
<95-201> Religious people have felt threatened by the development of science since the Renaissance period. However, religious people can’t solve the problems of hunger, disease and inadequate clothing and shelter without understanding scientific knowledge and technology, can they? In this regard, science has obviously made significant contributions. In terms of understanding the wonder and mysteries of human beings and the universe, religion and science have certainly tried to explain their origin through inspiration, logic and observation. As we can see, our continual curiosity about our origin and purpose is due to our inherent human nature; this has been the source of energy for us to act as well. In this regard, astronomers and biologists in the twentieth century have delved into the realm of theology and philosophy as well.
Without understanding scientific knowledge and technology, how can religious people solve the problems of hunger, disease and inadequate clothing and shelter? Science has made great contributions in these fields.
It is also true that religion as well as science have contributed a lot to the inner happiness of human beings (each) in their own way. On the other hand, in terms of understanding the wonder and mysteries of human beings and the universe, religion and science have certainly tried to explain their origin through inspiration, logic and observation.
Both religion and science exist for the sake of human happiness, right? Religion and science must study God with internal and external truth. We must dig into the world of God's heart. Science should explain God's outward disposition, and religion should explain God's inward disposition, and praise and praise His greatness.
It has taken a long time for human history to develop until now because of the self-centered life and selfish culture. However, if everyone has a heart to be for each other, heaven will give them amazing revelations and wisdom, and in a short period of time, amazing internal and external developments will be brought about.
Father has already created an incredible foundation. If the external world of science and the (internal) world of religion really unite together, we can create the ideal nation and world any time.
The Logic of Religion, Science and Philosophy
<165-250> From God’s point of view, there is the logic of religion, the logic of science and the logic of philosophy. Through logic, science has tried to understand the resultant world, religion has worked to unite hearts, and philosophy has been central to cultural history. But in terms of the history of development, religion, science and philosophy have progressed separately from each other.
From God's point of view, one can divide logic into three categories. There is the logic of religion, the logic of science and the logic of philosophy.
Through logic, science has tried to understand the resultant world, religion has worked to unite hearts, and philosophy has been central to cultural history.
The problem, however, is that all three of these lines of logic have been separated. Religion follows religion, science follows science, and philosophy follows philosophy.
Religion, science, and thought are like a trinity. That's why True Parents came and are working hard to unite these three fields. In that sense, True Parents have delivered numerous Divine Principle (presentations) and held numerous scientific conferences and seminars on the Unification Thought.
Religious issues must be resolved with the Principle, all philosophical and ideological issues must be resolved with Unification Thought, and all sciences must be united through the Scientist Contest. The conclusion of these three areas ultimately lies in finding God and knowing God's will and heart.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: See with the Eyes of the Heart
Fallen Human Beings Misunderstand Many Things
1. According to True Father's words, fallen people live with so many misunderstandings. He was worried that they were treating their children as their own physical children. Parents with fallen blood cannot treat their children according to their original nature. (Pyeonghwa Hun-gyeong, p. 18) True Father said that even though it was the child that the fallen people have birthed, when he sees their children, he sees them with the eyes of his heart, but because the fallen people sees them with the eyes of the physical self, they misunderstand.
As a result, even when we speak to our children, we must speak from the heart, but we continue to speak words of the physical self. All of this is an illusion. It means that when dealing with people, we must not just look, listen, and speak outwardly. We must see with the eyes of the heart. That's why True Father said to have the eyes of the heart. (Pyeonghwa Shin-gyeong p. 265)
True Father is saying that their descendants who were born with the fallen nature due to the fall of human ancestors are living in an illusion. Then, why do we have such a misunderstanding? It is because we do not see everything through the eyes of the spirit centered on the original mind, but through the eyes of the physical body centered on the fallen nature.
Fallen human beings consider themselves to be their own even though they belong to God, treat their children as their own children, regard their spouses as their own, and treat all things they deal with as their own.
We have to see everything with the eyes of our heart, but because we see with our physical eyes, we are very humanistic, and because we see in a self-centered and horizontal way, it is bound to bring about countless errors. If we think of our children as God's princes and princesses, do we think horizontally? Can we disrespect our own children? All of this is an illusion.
Fallen human beings have a self-centered way of thinking, so it is almost a given fact that they have misunderstandings and make errors. That is why it is said that when we realize the true truth, we repent, and when we go to the spirit world, we will have unimaginable regret.
So, in our life of faith, we must train ourselves to see everything with the eyes of the heart and spirit.
See with the Eyes of the Heart
2. When our eyes are grafted onto the heart, they become the eyes of the mind, and when grafted onto the body, they become the eyes of the physical body. We all have two kinds of eyes. These are the eyes of the body and the eyes of the mind. It is the same with our relationships with people. It's easy to look badly at that person if you focus on yourself. However, when you think that person grew up receiving parental love in his own way, and if you stand in his position, no one can treat you carelessly.
Therefore, when we look at people, we must not see them with our preconceived notions. It means to see with the eyes of the heart, not just with the outside. It is to never focus on oneself when looking at the other person. First, you must always focus on the other person and think from the other person's point of view. Who am I dealing with? Think of how much hardships his parents have gone through in order to give birth to that person and raise him. From the perspective of the other person's parents, everyone is a precious person. Seeing in this way is seeing with the eyes of the heart.
Since our mind is the subject and the body is the object, our body reacts depending on our mind and attitude. When our eyes are grafted onto the heart, they become the eyes of the mind, and when grafted onto the body, they become the eyes of the body. There are also two eyes in the eye. These are the eyes of the body and the eyes of the mind. This is the same when it comes to relationships with people.
When viewing another person while focused on ourself, it's easy to treat them with preconceived notions rather than seeing them from their point of view. So optical illusions and cognitive illusions occur. So, how can I see with the eyes of my heart?
First, we must see the other person from their point of view and from God's point of view. When we look at a person, we think that he or she grew up receiving parental love in his or her own way, and if we stand in that person's position, no one can be treated carelessly.
We shouldn't look at people with preconceived notions. If we treat people with preconceived notions, God will never cooperate or (intervene) with us. Therefore, we are told to see with the eyes of the heart, not just outwardly.
First of all, we must always focus on the other person and think from the other person's point of view. If it is difficult to see him from his point of view, think of his parent's point of view.
Think of how hard his parents (worked) to raise him. From the perspective of the other person's parents, everyone is a precious person. Seeing in this way is seeing with the eyes of the heart.
When we see each human being as so precious, then we won’t have any kind of preconceptions. But when we have preconceptions, then we discriminate (against) people. “Oh, this guy, that guy ...” We have all kinds of feelings. How can we know we don’t have any preconceptions? When we see each person as so precious whether he is a beggar, black, white, or yellow. We can feel God’s value.
That means we are already a resurrected person. We are already (of a) spiritually different dimension. That is the important point. We want to always keep that mindset.
It is easy for fallen people to criticize, to blame, to have preconceptions: “In the past this guy committed sins or had this problem or that problem.” Then we discriminate (against) people. Sometimes we wrongly judge them.
As a fallen man how do we overcome these kinds of things? We have to think about that.
The Difference Between the Physical Eyes and Eyes of the Heart
3. When you look at people with your physical eyes, you keep seeing them from the outside and treat them with preconceived notions. To judge someone by the way they dress or look is to see with their physical eyes. “I hate that person because he is handicapped,” “I hate that type of person,” “I hate that person because he is Korean,” and so on. Even if the other person is a beggar, if you look at it with the eyes of your heart, you will see that person with pity and want to help.
If you look with the eyes of your heart in this way, you can quickly establish a heartistic relationship with that person. When only I see someone with my physical eyes, I hate that person, but when I see them with the eyes of my heart, I value the other person, see them with pity, and feel that I should help them. Therefore, external people judge people with their physical eyes, while internal people see them with the eyes of their heart, so they forgive, pity, and value others.
Wow! Such beautiful guidance.
Fallen human beings always look from the outside. When we look at people with our physical eyes, we keep seeing them from the outside and treat them with preconceived notions and a humanistic point of view.
For example, judging someone by how they are dressed or how they look is to see them with physical eyes. “I hate that person because he is disabled,” “I hate that type of person,” “I hate that person because he is Korean or she is Japanese,” etc.
However, when we see through the eyes of original nature, the eyes of the heart, the eyes of the spirit, and the eyes of the shimjeong, our perspective changes. Even if the other person is a beggar, if we look at him with the eyes of our heart, we will see that person with pity and want to help.
If we look with the eyes of our heart in this way, we can quickly establish a heartistic relationship with that person. When we only see someone with our physical eyes, we hate that person, but when we see him with the eyes of our heart, we value the other person, see him with pity, and feel that we should help him.
Therefore, external people judge people with their physical eyes, while internal people see them with the eyes of their heart, so they forgive, pity, and value others.
How to See with the Eyes of the Heart
4. You must see with your eyes of the heart, not to see with the eyes of the body. Even when you breathe, do not breathe only with your body. When you wake up in the morning and breathe in your body, saying “I am still alive” is breathing in your body. When you breathe with your heart, you say, “How precious it is to breathe!” You have to breathe while thinking, “Thank you, God, for allowing me to breathe like this.” It is the eyes of the heart to see everything centered on the relationship with God.
Our hearts are the holy of holies where God dwells. And the physical body is under the dominion of Satan because of the Fall. Therefore, I am responsible for whether I should live in the physical body or in the heart. If you live in the physical body, you only think about yourself. If you live in the physical body, you will live a life that is not related to your parents. Even if you teach yourself that you belong to God and belong to your parents, you will think, “I am myself, how can I belong to my parents?”
We must think with our heart and see with the eyes of our heart. Even when we breathe, do not breathe only with our body. When we wake up in the morning and breathe in our body, saying, “I am still alive,” (This) is breathing in our body (only). Still alive for what? Is our spirit alive? Or our body (only)? We need to (ask whether) we are centered on our physical body or our spiritual body.
When we breathe with our heart, we say, “How precious it is to breathe!” We have to breathe while thinking, “Thank you, God, for allowing me to breathe like this. I can feel your heart. Heavenly Father, how are(?) you?”
It is the eyes of the heart to see everything centered on the relationship with God.
What we see with our physical eyes has no effect on our soul. We will only waste our time. Those who only use their physical eyes do not grow spiritually and remain at a standstill or regress even after 20, 30, or 40 years of a life of faith.
However, only the age of the body increases, so we live a physical life like an animal. Our hearts are the holy of holies where God dwells.
Our physical body is under Satan's dominion because of the Fall. Therefore, we are responsible for whether we live in the physical body or in the heart.
If we live in the physical body, we only think about ourself. We cannot develop our own spirituality if we live in the physical body. If we live in the physical body, we are spiritually dull, so we cannot feel what is happening around us and cannot heartistically communicate with others.
Even if we teach ourself that we belong to God and belong to our parents, we will think, “I am myself, how can I belong to my parents?” To see with the eyes of our heart, we must always be sensitive to living for the sake of others. And we must thoroughly change our mind from our center to the other person's center and always see everything with the eyes of our heart.
Today I talked about “See with the Eyes of the Heart.”
