God, Women and World Peace - October 27, 2022 - 35th anniversary of the Foundation Day for the Unified Nation of Heaven and Earth

During the 40 years of the Cold War, True Father was imprisoned six times, interred for three years in a North Korean concentration camp and paid the indemnity to re-establish the foundation that Christianity lost and to restore the 6,000-years of biblical history since the Creation.

All modern cultures are centered on the serpent's culture, language, customs, and traditions.
Guided by True Parents, we must change that to a God-centered culture of filial piety with a God-centered language of heart and God-centered rituals and traditions.
That will be a culture of the Four Great Realms of Heart and the Three Great Kingships, one of one great family of true love under God.
When human beings accustomed to false love and culture experience God-centered true love in the Hyojeong culture of heart, they quickly distinguish it from false love.
True love is like a bee sucking nectar; it continues sucking even if its tail is pulled off. Like the bee, you cannot be separated from true love forever once you taste it.
Be wary of the viper’s poison in beautiful or handsome people; we should not become instruments for Satan's use, but instruments of God.
Believers should live a life of being praised and trusted by others. If we are good at getting along with others, God will definitely have dominion and take responsibility over us.
We can nurture our spirit body only when we think of other people's problems as our own and shed many tears.
We should cherish and respect those closest to us and avoid hurting them. We should praise our children 1000 times before we correct them one time. Then they will listen to us.
If you raise a child with tears, the child is destined to follow you one day. His problems can only be solved with a heart that cherishes him.
The judge of one’s personality is one’s closest person, not God, True Parents or Satan.
Being recognized and praised as righteous by people is being recognized and praised as righteous by God.
If you do not become a citizen of heaven on earth, you will never become a citizen of heaven in the spirit world. That is why earthly life is important.
Conditions of indemnity are made by going to a place of disappointment with hope, of resentment with forgiveness and compassion, of conflict with love, and not getting upset by the people who discriminate against you.
We can only accomplish God’s will through the closest person. Therefore, the closest person is our God.

It is so exciting to hear such an exciting report from the mission field by our brothers and sisters. Whenever I hear your reflections, (I can see that) you know how to apply the Divine Principle to your daily life. This is really beautiful.
Today I’d like to talk about “God, Women and World Peace” from True Mother’s Anthology, Book 2.
<This was an invitational address delivered on September 7, 1993 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York> During the forty-year Cold War period, my husband fought to break down barriers on the individual, family, clan, national, worldwide and cosmic levels in order to rebuild the lost 4,000-year foundation to receive the Messiah. Since my husband cannot live 400 or 4,000 years, he knew that he would have to indemnify all of history in just 40 years. During this period of four decades, he restored the 4,000-year history before Jesus and the 6,000-year biblical history since the Creation. After this indemnity was paid, unity of the Cain and Abel blocs brought the Cold War to an end. For decades, my husband has been completely misunderstood. For three years, he was imprisoned in a communist concentration camp. Altogether, he has been wrongfully imprisoned six times for doing God's work. Moreover, the media have mocked him as a monster who brainwashes the young for self-benefit. Can anyone disagree when I say that Reverend Moon is the most persecuted religious leader in the world? My heart is broken when I think of how my husband has suffered. However he always comforts me, reassuring me that God has deep compassion for those persecuted for doing His work. My husband and I have purposefully walked a path of indemnity, or restitution, in order to restore the failures of the past, including those of the Old and New Testament Ages. Korea connects to the Old Testament Age, while America, a mostly Christian civilization, connects to the New Testament Age.

When I hear Mother’s words, I feel how much True Father and True Mother suffered in order to pay indemnity for 4,000 years and 6,000 years of God’s providence within 40 years. Can you imagine that? What is the messiah’s job? What is the job of the True Parents? I think we cannot understand their course at all. Wow! What incredible and tearful sacrifice True Father and True Mother have gone through!
After this indemnity was paid, unity of the Cain and Abel blocs brought the Cold War to an end. The Unification Church accomplished this internally at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, when athletes from 160 nations came to Korea. So, to commemorate this, October 3, 1988, was proclaimed the Foundation Day For The Unified Nation Of Heaven and Earth and established as an eternal celebration.

Wow! Father’s life was such a miserable life. I sympathize with him so much. Is he a wrong guy, or is he really the messiah? Why did he go through prison life six times? Centered on the secular point of view, he is a wrong guy, but from God’s point of view, definitely he is the messiah. We are so grateful that we have met the messiah, received the Divine Principle and met True Parents, the savior. How grateful we are! We need to appreciate our Father and Mother.
LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: The Fall - 5.
The Identity of the Serpent
• In the Bible we read that a serpent tempted Eve to commit sin (Gen. 3:4-5):
1.This serpent was able to converse with people.
2. It caused the Fall of humans, who are spiritual beings.
3. Furthermore, the serpent knew the Will of God, which strictly forbade human beings to eat the fruit.
4. As it is written in Revelation 12:9, "The great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, he was thrown down to the earth," the serpent had lived in heaven.
5. Also, it is able to transcend time and space to dominate the human soul.
• This is compelling evidence that the being which the serpent symbolizes was a spiritual being.
• This spiritual being was originally created with a good purpose, but later fell and became Satan.
• There are no beings endowed with such characteristics other than angels. Therefore, the serpent which tempted human beings and sinned is an angel.
• Also, in Il Pet. 2:4, it is written, "God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of nether gloom."
Based on that let’s study Father’s word.
The Twist Dancing Is That of the Serpent (Snake)
<38-286> You reap what you sow. The twist dancing is that of the Serpent(snake). It is a seducing satanic dance. That’s why I’m telling you, the youth members of our church, not to dance it and also not to have a love affair. Especially men with dignity should not follow women. Women are to follow men, not men following the women. A man followed a woman and fell. Adam was the one who was seduced by Eve and ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good evil in the Garden of Eden. This is why those who are entangled with women will ruin themselves. They will receive bad fortune and destroy themselves.
Like the saying that you reap what you sow, Adam and Eve had give and take with the serpent and became descendants of the serpent, and all modern cultures are centered on the serpent's culture, language, customs, and traditions.
Therefore, we must change all this Satanic culture. We must change it to a God-centered culture which is the culture of filial piety; our language should become the God-centered language of heart; and all rituals and traditions we practice must be replaced with God-centered rituals and traditions. At the center of all cultures, we must follow the culture and traditions established by True Parents.
The culture of God is the culture of the Four Great Realms of Heart and the Three Great Kingships. By expanding this family culture, we need to create a culture of one great family under God centered on true love.
Comparison Between the Love of God and That of the Fallen People
<50-282 > I, myself, have been keeping that kind of Principle in my mind when I determine to do God’s will. When you pray and do condition for someone whom you want to witness. When the person who had enjoyed happy marriage life before, experiences stronger and three-dimensional love of God in our church, he or she would be reluctant to receive love from his spouse. Even he or she would feel creepy with his or her own spouse’s love like being beaten by a snake when the spouse tries to hold their hand. Now you can clearly understand how different it is between the love of God and that of the fallen people. Do you understand what I mean?
When human beings who have been accustomed to false love and culture come into contact with the world of true love centered on God and the culture of the heart, they quickly distinguish between true love and false love. No matter how close the secular love of a man and woman is, when they experience true love, secular love all feels like snakes.
Therefore, all of us fallen human beings must experience true love and experience what the world of true ShimJeong is like. True love is like a bee sucking nectar, even if we pull the bee's tail with a pair of tweezers; the bee keeps sucking the nectar without knowing that its tail is cut off.
In this way, you cannot be separated from true love forever once you taste it. But fallen human love is always changing. Nothing is permanent, it is always relative, and it changes depending on the circumstances.
Therefore, our task is how to meet God and experience the world of true love. If human beings experience the world of God's true love, they cannot help but live with God even if they are told not to.
Imagine that you are put under the same circumstances, when a beautiful woman whose beauty is publicly recognized, boasting about herself and approaching you. You will be feeling like a viper coming to you with poison in her opened mouth. You will experience this kind of feeling. Do you get what I mean? That’s why it is called the battle of love. You must understand this.
True Father said that the more beautiful and handsome the woman or man, the more poison they have centered on Satan. Therefore, when we look at people, we should not only look at them externally, but also look at them spiritually. Just as a beautiful rose always has thorns attached to it, it is easy to stumble if you follow only an externally beautiful appearance.
We see many beautiful women and handsome men in the world being used as objects of Satan's temptation. We should not become instruments of Satan's use, but instruments of God.
Even when people in the secular world love each other, they want to die if they get separated, but what if we experience God's true love? Satan's love cannot be compared with God's love.
TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: Live a Life of Being Considered Right
1. In order to be considered right by others, you must live a life of being praised wherever you go. Children are praised by their parents, and when they go to school, they are praised by their teachers. When they go out into society, they are trusted through interpersonal relationships, seniors are respected by juniors, and juniors should win their senior’s trust. When that happens, God will have dominion over and take responsibility over that person by any means. We come to such conclusion. As Jesus said, those who are not considered right on earth cannot be acknowledged even in heaven, so they must gain trust on earth. Then the Lord will also acknowledge by saying, “You are truly my child!” Therefore, it means not to be stumbled by any circumstances because of others. It is to not form evil bonds with one another. It is to not remember the shortcomings of others. It is to not look at people with disgust. It is to not clash with others. And it means to not be hurt or controlled by other people’s words. Here, “others” means the people closest to you.
Our life of faith should always be a victorious life. In order to live a victorious life, you have to be considered right(eous?) by others. A life of being considered right means a life of being recognized and praised by others.
Therefore, believers should live a life of being praised by others wherever they go. Children must be praised by their parents and become better than they are. When they go to school, they must be praised by their teachers to become better than they are. Abel needs to be praised by Cain, and Cain needs to be praised by Abel. If you go out into society, you need to be trusted through interpersonal relationships. Then you become a victorious person.
If you become a person who is praised in interpersonal relationships and is good at getting along with others, God will definitely have dominion and take responsibility over that person. As Jesus said, those who are not considered right on earth cannot be acknowledged even in heaven, so they must gain trust on earth.
But rather than getting praise and approval in relationships, we stumble because of others and certain circumstances. Secular people have bad relationships rather than good ones.
The way to keep one's own spirit and heart healthy is to not remember the shortcomings of others. If we remember the shortcomings of others, God will also remember our shortcomings. Know clearly that remembering the faults of others darkens your spirit. People who always remember and can’t forget other people's faults always have a lot of dissatisfaction and complaints, and everything is negative for them.
It is easy for fallen man to see someone’s shortcomings. Those who see someone’s shortcomings and easily criticize (others), have a lot of dissatisfaction and complaint and are always negative. That’s why when you see someone’s shortcomings, you need to treat (them as my own): “These are my shortcomings. I have more shortcomings than he or she does.”
When we see someone’s shortcomings, it eventually hurts our heart. That is why we always (need to ask), “How can I digest (these shortcomings), and how can I see that person’s shortcomings as my shortcomings? I have more shortcomings than he (does).” We need to think like that. Otherwise, our spirit will really spoil, I am telling you.
Therefore, don’t be disgusted by other people nor clash with them. And don't be hurt or controlled by other people's words. You should be careful with this, especially in your closest relationships. We can nurture our spirit body only when we think of other people's problems as our own and shed many tears.
Sometimes (a person may say,) “Dr. Yong says to treat the shortcomings of others as my own, but that is very difficult. What can I do? Heavenly Father, my fallen nature cannot do this.”
You need to beg God and confess honestly with lots of tears. Then your heart surely will become better and better. In order to nurture your heart and spirit, you need to have a lot of tears. That is not easy. We have inherited (this) from our ancestors. It is easy to complain and compare and to be dissatisfied. This is fallen nature. We know in our original mind how to overcome. We need to overcome. That’s why we need to have a lot of tears and honestly confess to God, “Heavenly Father, why don’t you give me power to overcome this issue? Otherwise I cannot improve. I cannot resemble you, God, and True Parents.” Honestly confess to God with sincere tears and repentance. Then surely you can improve.
According to my experience, when I was young, I had this kind of problem. (It was) easy (for me) to criticize people and complain, and (I) was negative all the time. But I needed to shed tears. “God’s word is not like that. Our original mind is not like that. God is not like that. What shall I do, Heavenly Father? I cannot do it (with) my own power.” That is why you need to have a lot of tears.
Cherish People Who Are Closest to You the Most
2. In our lives, the people we clash with are those who are closest to us. Taking a hit is also being hurt by the closest relationships. That is why each of us should be able to feel with the closest relationships, that is, the younger sibling to the elder sibling, a husband to his wife, a wife to her husband, children to their parents, “You are the best,” “You are truly the person I am grateful for.” While raising children in your family, you should respect your children and try using respectful language. Even if they do something wrong, do not criticize them right away but just shed ears for them. Parents who raise their children with tears are not hypocrites. There is only truth. If parents cherish their children in this way, children will become solemn in front of their parents. When parents, who should cherish their children, neglect their children, their children will resist and become disappointed. Your children’s problems cannot be solved by money. It can only be done with a heart that cherishes.
In our lives, the people we clash with are those who are closest to us. In God's providence of restoration, problems arose among people who were the closest to each other. In Adam’s family, problems arose between Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, and the archangel and Eve.
Noah's family also had problems between Noah and his wife, Noah and his children, and Noah's wife and the children. Even in Jesus' family, problems arose among the closest people, including Mary and Joseph, Jesus and his parents, and the relationship between John the Baptist and Jesus as brothers.
Taking a hit is also being hurt by the closest relationships. That is why each of us should be able to feel with the closest relationships, especially in the family, “You are the best,” “You are no. 1,” “My husband, you are No. 1 in the world,” and “My wife, you are No. 1, the best in the world.” (When) you see each of your children, “You are No. 1. You are truly the person I am grateful for.”
Why don’t you praise your spouse and children, rather than criticizing them?. Of course, you need to correct them; we need to say “Yes” or “No.” We need to say “This is wrong” or “(This is) good.” But before saying that lay the foundation 99.9% of praising and recognizing them. Then based on that foundation when you scold them or correct them, they listen to you.
We are the opposite. We criticize them, don’t recognize them very much and always blame them. We only praise them a little bit. That is a problem.
Respect your children while raising them, and even if they do something wrong, do not criticize them right away but just shed tears for them.
Lay the foundation, then in the end you can give them advice.
If you raise a child with tears, the child is destined to follow you one day. Your children’s problems cannot be solved by money or power or force. It can only be done with a heart that cherishes.
When Does God See Me as Righteous?
3. To judge a person and find out about them, you will immediately be able to know by looking at their married life. To know what kind of a person the husband of a household is, you can tell by how much his wife respects him and whether or not his children really respect him, too. You can know about the wife by looking at her husband, know about the husband by looking at his wife, and know about the parents through their children. In short, you can really know about a person through their relationships with their counterparts. Brothers and sisters, why did you come to church? I came because I wanted to belong to Heavenly Father. My heart of attending worship, heart of singing praise, and heart of prayer are hearts related to God. We need to worship and sing praise with this holy heart connected to God. And when we offer worship and prayer, it is important to have a reverent heart and ask how we can ultimately put it into practice in our own lives. When I look at worship in my own life, do not forget the heart that I bonded with God, do not be fickle, but practice it so that I can be considered right by people around me. Then, the result is that since you are considered right on earth, God will see you as righteous as well.
Who is the judge of one's own personality? It is judged by the closest person. God, True Parents, and Satan do not judge one's own personality. You can tell who the husband of a family is by how much the wife respects him, and whether or not his children really respect him.
You can know about the wife by looking at her husband, know about the husband by looking at his wife, and know about the parents through their children. You can know about the older brother through his younger brother and know about the younger brother through his older brother. Cain reveals his personality through Abel and Abel through Cain.
When I look at worship in my own life, do not forget the heart that I bonded with God, do not be fickle, but practice it so that I can be considered right by people around me. After all, life on earth is important.
If you are considered right on earth, you will be considered right by God even when you go to the spirit world. Therefore, what we must believe and know is that being recognized and praised by people is being recognized and praised by God.
God sees as righteous those who are recognized and praised on earth in this way. According to this principle, if you do not become a citizen of heaven on earth, you will never become a citizen of heaven even in the spirit world.
That is why the earthly life is important. You need to settle everything on earth. Once you pass away, you cannot do anything. That’s why you need to be recognized by your father and mother, by your parents, your brothers and sisters, your siblings, your Cain and Abel on the earth. Everything needs to be settled on the earth centered on the closest people.
When Are Standards of Being Victorious in Indemnity Conditions Established?
4. How does God see people? People who do not despair even when they are in positions of despair, people who think with satisfaction and gratitude in positions where they can complain. God sees such people as righteous. Establishing these standards of being considered righteous like this is what we call conditions of indemnity. Conditions of indemnity is going to a place of disappointment with hope, going to a place of resentment with forgiveness and compassion for the other person, going to a place of conflict with love, and even if I go before the people that discriminate against me, I am not upset but think that that is God training me to become human and move while putting it into practice. Then, standards of being victorious in indemnity conditions will be established. Heaven sees (that) such people are righteous. This is what we must do. People who do this well will naturally make those who discriminated and persecuted them surrender to them.
God sees as righteous those who think with satisfaction and gratitude in positions where they can complain and (who do) not despair even when they are in positions of despair. If we establish righteous conditions in our earthly life and live a righteous life without compromising with evil, we can overcome all indemnity.
We must know that conditions of indemnity are made by going to a place of disappointment with hope, going to a place of resentment with forgiveness and compassion for the other person, going to a place of conflict with love, and not getting upset by the people that discriminate against you.
Today I am talking about the closest person. This is very important. Where is God’s will? How can we accomplish God’s will? Through the closest person. How can we complete and fulfill God’s will? Through the closest person, in the husband case through the wife, in the wife’s case through the husband, in the children’s case through the parents, in the parents’ case through the children, Abel through Cain, Cain through Abel. Where can we accomplish God’s will? Through the closest person. Where do we fail our mission and God’s will? Through the closest person. That’s why the closest person is our God.

(Response to sharing) Every day we need to deal with some issues, with spiritual children, with father and mother, with close contacts. When we see someone’s shortcomings, as a leader or father or mother, we need to think, “No matter what, I want to be responsible for (this person) as a parent. (We need to have) a responsible mindset and heart. I think that is the way we can really take care of our spiritual children.
That is why I really love Father’s concept and attitude, “No matter what, if I see someone’s shortcomings, I have to be responsible for (them). No matter what, I want to protect that guy forever.” That kind of parental heart and concept is very important.♦
