Ep 408 - Jesus Should Form a Family

Jesus Should Form a Family #43

PDF Text and Images

Wow! It is a beautiful day today!

Today I’d like to talk about  “Jesus should form a family” from True Mother Hak Ja Han Moon: An Anthology, Book 1.

If Jesus had formed a family and been protected by Joseph's family and Zachariah's family, he would not have died on the cross. If you are able to realize and fathom, even a little, the heart of God as He looks upon human history as it has been created by ignorant human beings, it will be a source of comfort to Him. In this regard, you need to know that human responsibility is important. (2006.08.10, Santiago, Chile)

God had the dream of living together with the first ancestors. Instead of living alone, He wished to live with His family, His object partners, as the Father and Mother. However, in order for Adam and Eve, who were still in the process of growing, to exercise the same authority and power as God, they needed to fulfill their five percent portion of responsibility. If Adam and Eve had fulfilled their portion of responsibility and had passed the heavenly bloodline down through history, today's difficulties, such as religious conflicts and racial problems, would not exist. The omniscient and omnipotent God can know no failure. He has waited for human beings to fulfill their responsibility and rise to the same position as His. Today, there are four great religions that have expanded and developed worldwide, but even the people who believed in those four religions did not know about God's true Will. Though those religions have worshipped the one God and pursued peace and happiness of humanity, they are unable to unite because they have each continued to grow separately centering on themselves. (2006.07.07, Sarajevo, Bosnia)

If Jesus had lived to achieve God's Will, the Catholic and Protestant histories would not be divided and complicated like they are today, for the kingdom of heaven on earth and in heaven would have been realized in Jesus' day. As you can see, humankind's portion of responsibility is really crucial. As people who have received the Blessing, you too have a responsibility. (2006.08.16, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea)

True Mother said “If Jesus had formed a family and been protected by Joseph's family and Zachariah's family, he would not have died on the cross”

For True Mother to say this(?), I think this is a very, very important understanding about Zachariah’s family and Joseph’s family. I would like to share about this based on Father’s word.

Then let's see what True Father has to say about this. We know that this is challenging and controversial for many people. But the truth must be proclaimed as fact.

That is why today I would like to introduce Father’s word directly. We need to understand what Father is talking about.

Zachariah’s Family and Joseph’s Family

Jesus had to restore the families of Joseph and Zachariah. He had to restore the family of Cain and Abel and establish the foundation for the tribe. But that was not the case. Because Jesus and John the Baptist stood in Cain and Abel’s position on the individual foundation and Joseph’s and Zachariah’s family stood in Cain and Abel’s position on the family foundation, restoration of it all at once was possible. If that had happened, the tribal standard for Abel would have been determined. Then Judaism would stand before heaven, and if Judaism stands before heaven, the nation would stand before heaven. Then restoration can happen. The problem is that Joseph’s family and Zachariah’s family did not become one on the family foundation. You should know that Jesus died because of that. (1970.08.29, Korea Former Headquarters Church)

True Father had a lot of spiritual experiences because of God’s grace. He entered the spiritual world. He met so many saints and sages. Especially he had a lot of communication with Jesus. Finally he discovered the truth.

What family did Jesus come from? Even if you are conceived by the Holy Spirit, you cannot escape God's principle of creation. Humans are always born through parents without exception. This principle of creation can apply to Jesus’s family, even to Jesus himself. A woman can never have a baby alone. God is a God of principles. Even God cannot escape this principle of creation.

I hope you understand True Father's words from this perspective. Then let's look at True Father's words.

God's providence is ultimately the providence of Cain and Abel. God's providence can be successful only when Cain serves Abel well. Through the course of Jesus, we can know that if Cain and Abel do not become one, the Messiah cannot eventually settle down.

Let’s continue to study Father’s word about this.

You Can Stand on the Summit of History  If You Attend True Parents

<36-230>When we see Jesus and John the Baptist on the surface, they are brothers. Jesus is the younger brother of John the Baptist. Then, what is the difference between John the Baptist and Jesus? John the Baptist was born into the family of a socially dignified priest, Zachariah, and grew up being loved by all his relatives. On the other hand, Jesus grew up not even knowing who his father was.  Jesus was born as an illegitimate child. That is why Jesus was raised as a stepchild in Joseph's family and the village. Not only that, but he was brought up in a solitary environment with no sympathy from any of his relatives. (1970.12.06, Korea Former Headquarters Church)

Who is John the Baptist? True Father has spoken about this many, many times in his speeches: He said that he was the real brother of Jesus. John the Baptist and Jesus had the same father. Then who is Jesus’ father? John the Baptist is Jesus’ real physical brother. Of course, they had a different mother.

So who is Jesus' father? Jesus' father is Zachariah. However, when Zachariah and Elisabeth had a quarrel over Mary's conception, Mary left the house, and God appeared to Joseph with the next plan and told him to protect Mary. This is the top secret of history.

We learn that the fact that Cain and Abel are not one and the couple is not one is the cause of the failure and prolongation of God's providence.

If You are to Graft Onto Jesus

<36-254> Then who is the partner of the Only Begotten Son? Who is the woman who will be his wife? She must exist, but where do we find her? Joseph’s family and Zachariah’s family are relational families in the positions of the Abel family and the Cain family. What would have happened if John the Baptist of Zachariah’s family had a younger sister, so Jesus made John the Baptist his brother-in-law? Think about what would have happened. From the family position, they should have done this before anyone else. Do you understand? John the Baptist is an external Adam type. He is not in the position of the archangel. Because of this, if only John the Baptist was one with Jesus, then how could have Jesus died? He would have been betrayed if he was, but how would he have died? He at least wouldn’t have died. But even today, Christians believe that Jesus came to die. That’s why it’s ridiculous. How can Christians go to heaven being like that? They can't go to heaven. How they could go when they’ll get caught ideologically?

Wow! Incredible!

True Father also makes great announcements. Then who should be the wife of Jesus who was born as the only begotten son? It said that it should be the sister of John the Baptist.

He is saying that if the family of Zachariah and the family of Joseph had become one and served Jesus well, Jesus would never have gone to the cross.

Maria Should Have Prepared Jesus’ Bride

God created Eve through Adam. Isn’t that so? [Yes] Since the history of the providence of salvation is the history of re-creation, it must be done according to the Principle. So, Mary should have prepared to welcome Jesus' bride. But because she could not take responsibility for it, Jesus had no choice but to leave the house. The twelve disciples whom he gathered after he left his home were people who are like unprepared. If the family had found the bride of Jesus, that family would become the 12 disciples. Isn’t that so. All Jesus had to do was to sit still and say, “You do this, and you do that.” It means that he didn't have to struggle to find a disciple while going around in an insignificant way. Jews at the time obeyed all the words of John the Baptist of the high priest Zachariah’s family. That’s why they were all drawn together to him.

Father’s declaration is incredible! Also, Father said, Jesus’ mother, “Mary, should have prepared to welcome Jesus' bride.” Her main job(?) was to look for Jesus’ bride. But because she could not take responsibility for it, Jesus had no choice but to leave the house. Because already Jesus had lost the foundation, especially the relationship between Joseph and his mother, Mary, this is really a problem. There was no unity between husband and wife. Finally Mary could not keep her first motivation, and the Holy Spirit left her. She became very humanistic and could not really recognize what the role of Jesus was. That is why Jesus really, really went through incredible suffering in his family.

Zachariah’s family and Joseph’s family as the Cain family and Abel family needed to unite together and support Jesus. What was the greatest support? First, they needed to protect Jesus. Secondly, they need to find Jesus’ bride. Jesus was born as a man. He needed a woman. Man needs a woman; woman needs a man. This is the Principle of Creation. God needed to have Jesus’ blood lineage. If Jesus married and Mary had prepared for Jesus’ bride and they had started a family and had held a holy wedding ceremony, then the messiah would no longer have needed to come. It (the kingdom of heaven) would only have been a matter of time. Finally the kingdom of heaven would have arrived on earth. The kingdom of heaven begins from the messiah’s family, starting from the wedding ceremony. Can you imagine this?

What  is Jesus' strongest resentment, his biggest sorrow? He was born as a man; he came as the messiah. He was supposed to have multiplied God’s blood lineage. But he could not multiply God’s blood lineage. Can you imagine? Jesus does not have his own blood lineage. He died as a bachelor and went to the spiritual world through the cross. He does not even have his own blood lineage. Can you imagine this? He came as God’s begotten son. Wow! Can you imagine that?

Cooperation between mother and son, how important it is! The role of the woman is everything. The role of woman is to be the center of love. The center of love! Actually Zachariah’s family needed to protect, needed to protect Jesus. If there had been real unity between Elizabeth  and Mary in Zachariah’s family -- that was the original idea; Jesus needed to grow up in that kind of environment -- then there would have been no need to go through any kind of persecution. But because of struggling between two women, Mary needed to leave Zachariah’s family. There are all kinds of details about Jesus' blood lineage, this and that. That is why the change in blood lineage is not a simple issue. God’s providence is so complicated, but it is very sure, very clear how to change the blood lineage.

Wow! Jesus does not have his own blood lineage. He does not have his wife. Jesus doesn’t have his own children. Can you imagine? (He had to) stay in the spiritual world forever as a bachelor. Can you imagine that? That is why Father came to the earth. Father needed to resolve this issue as you know already. Oh my God!

LIVING DIVINE PRINCIPLE: Who is God?

God is:

• The subject and harmonious union of original internal nature and original external form.

• The harmonious union of original masculinity and original femininity.

• The subject partner having qualities of internal nature and masculinity towards the universe.

1. God is my eternal parent.

2. God is the subject of the Three Great Subjects thought

3. God is absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal.

4. God is a God of love.

5. God is a God of heart.

6. God is the Word.

7. God is dual characteristics.

8. God is the original absolute Sex.

9. God is a being of character.

10. God is the origin of Principle, law and order.

Based on this content, so far I have shared that “God is my eternal parent,” “God is the subject of the Three Great Subjects thought,” and “God is absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal.” Today I would like to focus on “God is a God of love.”

4. God is a God of Love

<7-290> God, who has unlimited love for humankind, has been searching for us since the day of the fall.  He loves us, but how much does He love us? It is impossible to understand this according to your usual concepts. Even in the fallen world, parents love their children. If their beloved child is struggling in the face of death, a parent will disregard pain and fear, and will do anything, even risk death, in order to save that child. Even fallen people have a heart to love their children. And there are also those who will risk their lives for the people they love.

How much do parents love their children? The love that parents give to their children cannot be expressed in words. Parents are the ones who can die on behalf of their children at any time if their children are in a dangerous situation. It means that parents love their children more than their own lives.

Even fallen parents love their children like that, but how much love would God, the champion of love, think of each human being as his own child? There is no comparison to the love of the parents of fallen human beings.

When my wife delivered our first child, a daughter, her name is Gisa(?), wow! It was incredible how my love went to my child! How precious she is! At that moment -- I think even now -- I could have died. I can die any time for my children. If my children are in danger, I can pay the price. I can die any time for my children. Even fallen parents are something like that.

How about God? God is the champion of true love. How can we compare his love to fallen parents’ love? We cannot compare (them). That is why God is a God of love, really the champion of true love.

<7-290> Then, is God's love no greater than the love of a parent for a child? If love is something that can go beyond any adversity, even death, that can disregard the pain of sacrifice, what must God's love be like? It is not something that can easily be compared to the love a fallen parent has for their child. We need to understand that there is simply no comparison between the love that God has for us, who are His original creation, and the love of the fallen world.

True Father said, “Then, is God's love no greater than the love of a parent for a child?”

God’s love is something that can go beyond any adversity, even death, that can disregard the pain of sacrifice.

What about God's love? It is nothing (everything?) compared to a fallen man's love for his own children.

It is said that the method of witnessing in the spirit world invites low-level spirits to show (them) the world of heaven, according to Sang Hun Lee. Do you know how he witnesses to people? He goes down to hell to some very famous guy who is still in hell. What is the best way to witness? Without being shown, he or she cannot understand. That is why Sang Hun Lee brings him to the kingdom of heaven and shows him the kingdom of heaven. That guy starts to realize that the kingdom of heaven is a really amazing, indescribable (place), that (one) cannot describe how beautiful it is. It is especially full of God’s love. That is why once (a person) has tasted the world of God’s love, he cannot run away.

It is said that when all human beings experience God's true love, that love is so great that it can overcome any trials and tribulations and any death. Father said, “Why can’t I run away from God’s will? How I could overcome any kind of adversity, any kind of problems, any kinds of trials and tribulations -- do you know how I could overcome (them)?” Father said, “I came to understand God’s reality, God’s situation, God’s suffering.” Also he said, “I came to understand that God’s love is so amazing! How much he loves me! How much he loves each human being. When Father had that kind of substantial experience of God’s love, he said, “I can overcome any trials and tribulations, any death, any kinds of adversity.” That is why Father said, “In order to overcome my physical limitations, what was the best way to conquer my physical body, my physical desires, what is the best way to remove my fallen nature?” Father said, “It is to really experience God’s love. Once you taste God’s love, how much he loves me, how great God’s love is, this is the way to overcome any adversity.” That is why today I am talking about (how) God is a God of love.

<7-290>  If a person's beloved child or somebody else that they love were to die today, that person will feel sadness or pain. Some people even collapse or become crazy. Other people even die from the grief. If people on the earth feel such pain and sadness, and go crazy, and even die from grief at the death of a loved one, how must it be like for God? Please think about this.

Thousands of people fall into Hell every moment. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, many people fall into hell without knowing God's love.

God faints with surprise every moment when his child dies. God has experienced such things for 6,000 years.

Many people come and go, but how many of them recognize that God is their parent. (They leave) without recognizing God’s reality, that God is their parent. How sorrowful it is!

One time I had an experience when I was touring a province in the Philippines centering on a city. I created holy grounds in 167 cities in the Philippines. It took six months with the national leader. … Creating holy grounds in each province is a very serious condition whenever I do it in any nation. I worked with the Philippine national leader, visiting everywhere. However, he died of high blood pressure while touring with me. Wow! My goodness! He died in front of me! He was the current national leader. Then his mother came and saw him. She fainted over and  over again in front of his dead body. She would wake up and see her boy’s dead body, and then fainted again. She would come back and faint again. Wow! When I saw that situation, I experienced that a parent's love for their child is more than their own life.

(If) even fallen men’s parental heart is like that, (how about) God (who) is my real parent, my eternal parent. Can you imagine when each one of his children dies without knowing him? And when his child dies, God needs to participate in his funeral ceremony. Can you imagine that? Since Adam and Eve fell, as a parent he has had to participate in each human being's funeral ceremony when they die. How much does God wail, weep! How much God cries and cries and cries.

Do you know what the World Death Rate is per year?

55 million people die annually. It's almost like the entire population of South Korea.

And 150,000 people are dying every day.

How many of these people do you think  die knowing God and His will? Do you know how much God weeps for each soul who is born on this earth as a life and dies without knowing God the parent?

Can you imagine that? Because God is the parent of parents, when any soul dies, then God should be there participating in his funeral ceremony. How much God will cry out! Since Adam and Eve, how many people have come and gone? God needed to participate in the funeral ceremony of each soul. More than 6,000 people die per hour. Per minute more than 100 people die. Per second more than 2 people die. Can you imagine that? God’s tears!

You must know that God is the God who weeps and attends more than 150,000 funerals every day. God is a sorrowful God. He participates in every human being’s funeral ceremony. And then he goes together with that soul wherever he goes. God never leaves that soul, crying together, weeping (?) together. He seriously encourages him to come back to God’s bosom. How miserable God is!

TODAY’S YOUTH MINISTRY: Jacob’s Course - Differences Between Leah’s and Rachel’s Lineages

1. Rachel felt a lot of disappointments in her relationship with Leah, but in the end, Rachel realized her mistake and repented before God. And she transcended the heartbreak of not being loved by her husband Jacob. Only later, when Rachel realized that God's providence was there, repented, and devoted herself with one heart, God gave Joseph to Rachel.

2. Joseph, who was born to Rachel, once dreamed of a dream and waited for it to come true without ever shaking his resolve until he was thirty. When we see that Rachel gave birth to such a wonderful Joseph, it can be seen that Rachel's blood lineage was purified a lot and her level of heart was high.

After paying indemnity, after purifying and repenting and repenting and even repenting in front of God, (we) change our blood lineage. (We) purify our blood lineage through repentance. Whenever we repent for something, (we) always purify our blood lineage.

3. If God wants to raise a low-level person to a high-level, He sometimes persecutes them and trains them. For example, God hardened Pharaoh's heart and persecuted the Israelites through him. Pharaoh increasingly persecuted the Israelites. God persecuted through Pharaoh so that they had no choice but to go in the direction God was leading.

4. When persecution comes to them, people feel disappointed and think it is unfair. However, if you pray for the persecutor while receiving the persecution and think that persecution is training for self-growth and give thanks, the level of that person's heart will increase, really upgrade.

Even though someone persecutes you, misunderstands you, insults you, all kinds of bad treatment, but still you appreciate, you pray for that guy, then according to Father’s guidance, the level of your heart really, really reaches a different dimension. That is why any suffering, any adversity, any persecution, any trial, what is the purpose of those? What is the purpose? So I can upgrade the level of my heart, increasing my heart and cultivating my heart and finally reaching God’s heart. (Then) I can embrace anyone. I can love anyone. I can digest any adversity. That is why Father says that persecution is a blessing, persecution is growth, persecution through all kinds of mistreatment, when you overcome it, appreciate it, then your heart becomes (attains) a different level dimension.

5. We face many unfortunate things and feel victimized along the Way of God’s Will. Sometimes it feels like God has made a promise and is not keeping it. There are times when God makes a promise to me through a dream or revelation, and then makes me even more unfair, sad, and drives me in the opposite direction.

6. As Leah continued to bear children, Rachel thought that Jacob's heart continued to go to Leah, and that she had lost her husband. Rachel was childless until Leah gave birth to six children. In addition, Leah gave birth to two more children through her maid, making a total of eight. Rachel bore two children through her maidservant. Rachel was in a position where she was greatly ignored and received disdainful treatments by those around her.

7. Here, Rachel pondered, and resolved it through prayer before God and received forgiveness. And she gave birth to a son, Joseph, which means to wash away shame. If Rachel had given birth to children without repenting through the indemnity course, those children might have been born as capricious, disgruntled, and vigorous children. However, Rachel overcame such internal indemnity, repented, and gave birth to a wonderful boy, Joseph.

8. Rachel realized that it was shameful for all the things she had struggled with in her heart so far, and she regretted and repented. As a result, her level of heart has risen.

9. Joseph had a different personality and was responsible from an early age. So he received a lot of love from his parents. When a child has a good background from an early age, the hearts of parents are drawn to the child. As Joseph grew up, he faced many trials, temptations, and injustices, but his heart did not change.

10. Because Joseph's heart was righteous, he was able to resist the sexual temptation. Even when he was in prison, he served people and helped many people. Although Joseph was in a difficult and unfair position, he helped others. Even the prison officers there praised Joseph.

11. People usually harden their hearts and do not have the heart to forgive others when they are resentful. Although the children of Leah's lineage and Rachel's lineage had the same father’s lineage, they showed a lot of difference.

12. Because Joseph was loved by his parents, all ten brothers hated him. From that point of view, it can be seen that the quality of the lineage was different from the time Joseph was born. What we can see here is that if a woman purifies the fallen bloodline of what Eve has committed, she can see children with different qualities of blood coming out on that foundation. When a woman loves Heaven and has a strong heart to be filial to her parents, children with good lineage will come out. On the other hand, if a woman thinks only of herself, (then) she sees a child who is really disobedient and unfilial. If you look at the background of the central figures in the Providence of Restoration, most of their mother's lineage was really excellent.

13. Look at the children of Eve, the children of Noah's wife, and the children of Leah, who failed in mother and child cooperation. On the other hand, look at Sarah (mother-son cooperation) and Rebekah (mother-son cooperation). Look at Rachel who finally repents and unites with Jacob and a different blood lineage emerges. Look at Moses who cooperated with his mother. Look at True Father’s mother, Chungmonim -- how incredible! -- Chungmonim completely supported Father. How about Daemonim and True Mother who succeeded in the mother and child cooperation?

That is why in God’s providence of mother-son cooperation is incredibly important. Very, very important. That is why women are the center of love. Do you have good quality children? The mother’s faith is really important. Of course, the husband needs to love his wife, and his wife has(?) enough love (and) has the energy and desire to love her own children.

14. That is why the Bible compares Eve to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When it bears fruit, depending on the center, it can become a good tree and breed a good lineage, or it can become an evil tree and breed an evil lineage. The lineage of the children grows in the mother's womb, is born through the mother's womb, and almost always grows in the mother's arms. Women are the center of love and the central axis of love. Know that all history has gone astray because of Eve’s fault, who is the center of love. Therefore, in the end, all retrieve (retrieval? restoration?) must be handled by women as the center.

We need to learn from the Bible through the central figure. I came to understand more and more the role of the woman. That’s why as a man, as a husband, as a father, the most important issue is how I can convey God’s love to my wife. That is my job, the husband’s job, to truly, truly love my wife. Then she has more energy, more power to love her children. Most of the children spend time with the mother as a baby and growing up. Wow! Mother-son cooperation. This is the key point.

Why could Jesus not fulfill (his mission)? There was a failure of cooperation between mother and son, right? Why did Joseph have such a great blood lineage? Because of cooperation between mother and son. How was Jacob (Joseph?) raised (so successfully)? Because of cooperation between mother and son. Why did Noah fail? Because there was no cooperation between Noah’s wife and children. Why did Cain kill Abel? (Because) there was no cooperation between Eve and her children, Cain and Abel. Wow! I start to realize: the woman is everything. Mother is everything. Mother is the center of the world(?).

That is why all boys and husbands and fathers, let’s really have great commitment to love our wife, our mother more. Then they will have the power to love their own children. And then the mother and wife can be in a mediator role and children can connect to their father and the father can connect to Heavenly Parent. That is one of God’s main providences.♦
