Today is the last day of the 10th Morning Heart Devotion 40-day Jeongseong Condition. It's 400 days since we started Morning Heart Devotion. I am grateful to Heavenly Parent and True Parents for guiding me every morning during this time. And I sincerely thank all the leaders and family members who gave Jeongseong together. Now, Morning Heart Devotion has established itself as a global online holy community. We ask for your continued support and participation. As long as God lives and works, I am confident that this Morning Devotion will continue to develop and grow.
Today, I would like to speak with the title, “Giving birth to the Heavenly World” from the contents of True Mother’s memoir.
My husband, Father Sun Myung Moon, and I have lived our whole lives for the liberation of God’s homeland. We have nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to hide. I have never looked back, nor to the left or the right; I have only looked at the path ahead. I never became attached to my circumstances. Night or day, there has never been a moment that I did not keep Heavenly Parent with me. In the Kremlin, we said to the leaders that they should remove the statues of Lenin and accept God. In the presidential residence in North Korea, we spoke out. On that foundation, President Mikhail Gorbachev and Chairman Kim Il Sung opened their hearts. We never wavered for the sake of the liberation of God’s homeland. Whenever crises arose, Heavenly Parent guided us with pillars of fire and cloud.
What (Why?) did Heavenly Parents sympathize with and protect True Parents? This is because True Parents never compromised with the evil forces, even though they went through imprisonment six times and through many hardships. True Parents boldly told Kim Il-sung of North Korea to accept God (and) even (said the same) at the Kremlin in the Soviet Union.
True Parents lived without any hesitation if it was God's will or for God's liberation of his home land. That is why Heaven has guided True Parents with a pillar of fire and a pillar of cloud whenever a crisis arose.
When we compromise too much in real life, we tend to lose focus and become part of the secular world. Faith must always not yield to injustice and be righteous (in order for you) to experience that heaven is always with you. We must not compromise with reality and hesitate in proclaiming the True Parents. The more hesitating (we are) about it, the more the movement goes down. Faith must be proclaimed strongly and boldly. We must proclaim who God is, who the True Parents are, and who we are with great pride, strength and boldness. The reason Christianity has developed is because it proclaimed that Jesus is Lord without compromising with reality, despite countless persecutions and opposition.
Sometimes when I look at our brothers and sisters, there is too much compromise with reality and the current situation. “Maybe it is not wise to speak like that?” If we continuously do this, we will finally lose our identity. That is why after a certain process in the end we need to clearly proclaim the position of True Parents, and we need to clearly tell them that God exists, clearly tell them “why I joined the Unification Movement.” This is our identity. If our identity is unclear and we try to hide something, compromising with something, then our movement will never develop. We learned how Christianity developed even though they went through all kinds of persecution and opposition. We learned from history.
Standing before True Father’s holy body in 2012, I promised in tears, “By the end of my days, I will absolutely bring about the settlement of Cheon Il Guk on this earth!” Whenever the opportunity arises, I repeat these words. After True Father’s ascension, I set forth like a female Don Quixote spreading our teachings and embracing the world. I have lived every day with my promise to Father Moon in mind.
The Republic of Korea did not honor True Father at his Seonghwa Ceremony. That is why I publicly committed to restore seven nations by 2020 and open the new Cheon Il Guk as a gift to True Father. With that accomplished, the providential opportunity has returned to Korea. The call of the Pacific hyojeong culture of giving and giving again must take root and show visible fruit in this nation. This door will not remain open forever.
What we should never forget is the resolution that True Mother made in front of God and True Father's Holy dead (body?). True Mother’s promise is, “By the end of my days, I will absolutely bring about the settlement of Cheon Il Guk on this earth!” True Mother's wish should become our wish as her children.
During the remaining 6 years, we must find and settle in the substantial Cheon Il Guk of God. At the very least, Cheon Il Guk should be founded and established practically at the national level. So, at present, True Mother is concentrating everything on Heavenly Korea.
Let’s pray for True Mother’s work centered on heavenly unified Korea. How serious True Mother is about this. Dr. Hendricks was just now speaking about that. Please pray for the Korean Peninsula providence.
In 2018 on New Year’s Eve, members from all over Korea gathered at the Cheongshim Peace World Center to pray for the Settlement of the Era of a Unified Heavenly Korea. From the evening until the small hours in the morning of the new year, 2019, we beseeched God in tears to restore the Korean nation and liberate our Heavenly Parent’s homeland.
However, True Mother's very important words here are omitted from True Mother's memoir in English. The missing part is:
Now, the fruits of all civilizations are centered on the Republic of Korea. Pacific civilization will also bear fruit in Korea. It is a heavenly mandate. Now, the Pacific civilization, the give-and-give filial piety culture, is coming to Korea.
The World Peace Expressway, which started from the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa, arrives in Korea, and departs from Santiago, Chile, South America, and also arrives in Korea.
This is a very important thing that True Mother’s memoir in English is missing. I discovered many important passages that were not properly translated into English. I hope someday you can learn Korean and read True Mother’s memoir in Korean.
Living Divine Principle: The Life of Dual Characteristics (2)
First of all, let’s learn the EDP content.
♦ What is the relationship between internal nature and external form?
♦ The internal nature is intangible and causal, and stands in the position of a subject partner to the external form; the external form is tangible, resultant, and stands in the position of an object partner to the internal nature.
♦ The mutual relationships between these two aspects of an entity include: internal and external, cause and result, subject partner and object partner, vertical and horizontal.
♦ The First Cause of all the myriad things in the universe must also possess the dual characteristics of internal nature and external form, which stand in the position of subject partner to the internal natures and external forms of all beings.
♦ We call this First Cause of the universe God, and we call God's
♦ God, the First Cause of all things, also exists based on the reciprocal relationship between His dual characteristics of yang and yin
♦ What is the relationship between the dual characteristics of internal nature and external form and the dual characteristics of yang and yin?
♦ God's original internal nature and original external form each contain the mutual relationship of original yang and original yin. Therefore, original yang and original yin are attributes of original internal nature and original external form.
♦ The relationship between yang and yin is similar to that which exists between internal nature and external form.
♦ Yang and yin thus have the following mutual relationships: internal and external, cause and result, subject partner and object partner, vertical and horizontal
♦ A human being attains perfection when he centers his life on his mind; likewise, the creation becomes complete only when God stands as its center. Hence, the universe is a perfect organic body that moves only according to God's purpose of creation.
♦ Because God exists as the subject partner having the qualities of internal nature and masculinity, He created the universe as His object partner with the qualities of external form and femininity.
♦ All of this is supported by the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 11:17 which states, "Man...is the image and glory of God." In recognition of God's (such) position, we call Him "Our Father."

1. Do I live like an organic body that moves and ceases according to God’s purpose of creation? Am I in harmony with the created world and the principles of the created world, or am I not?
2. Wherever I go, I must become the center of harmony like the creation. As water flows from a higher area to a lower area according to the law of nature, I must become a being who moves and ceases according to God’s purpose of creation.
3. Conflicts within human relationships occur when we do not move and cease according to (do) God’s purpose of creation and assert ourselves. When the self asserts itself, it causes disharmony. We must not cause trouble or hurt others. Wherever we go, we must become the center of harmony like the creation.
Let’s study Father’s word based on this content.
<9-202> Heavenly Father has worked to re-create human beings by planting Father’s mind, Father’s internal nature into the mind of fallen human beings. In Genesis 1:27, it says, “God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Not in the image of Jesus, but the image of Heavenly Father.
God has worked to re-create human beings by planting His internal nature into the mind of each person. Here, internal nature refers to God's love, heart, blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice, and energy. God plants his internal nature until I am completed.
God's creation has not yet been completed. The completion of God's creation cannot be accomplished until every single person is saved and completed. Therefore, in the end, God's perfection means that God will be perfected only when his children are perfected. Looking at the principle of God's true love, we must always be reminded that God's creation is incomplete unless (until?) I am finished. That is why God is looking for me today and constantly investing and investing for me again and again. What a pitiful God!
Satan plants his internal nature every day. Satan’s internal nature is hatred, detestation, envy, jealousy, fornication etc.
“God created me in His own image” means I resemble God exactly. If children resemble their parents, who will they resemble?
True Father said, “Mankind was not created in the image of Jesus. Mankind is God’s image.”
Many people struggle with that, especially Christians. True Father said very clearly: “Humankind was not created in the image of Jesus.” God is God. Jesus is Jesus. Jesus resembles God’s image. Jesus is also human; he is not God. That is why all human beings resemble God. We need to know this very clearly. You and I as man and woman, all mankind, were not created in the image of Jesus. Mankind is God’s image.
God is constantly educating us through our conscience until we become His sungsang and hyungsang who resemble His image even though we are fallen human beings. Keep calling my name Adam, Dr. Yong, Dr. Hendricks, where are you now ? What are you doing now? Where are you going now?
God continued to call on Adam and Eve who hid after eating the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. “Adam, Eve, where are you now?” Even today, if God continues to call to me, he continues to cry out in tears (for me) to return to God’s bosom. What a pitiful God! What a miserable God!
What is the highest purpose of salvation? It is to attain Heavenly Father’s external form and internal nature. That is why God has taken pains to this day. You must know how hard God has worked through the path of restoration. That is why God has not stopped searching for the miserable human beings living on this earth, the human beings who should have died ten million times.
What is the highest purpose of salvation? Father said it is re-creating human beings who resemble His internal nature and external form.
That is why the Bible says “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)
When we look back on history, we must think about how Heavenly Father has searched for us. He has worked for a long period of six thousand years to find a nobody like me. You must understand that if you go to the spirit world without fulfilling the Will of God who has called on you, God will have to feel pity for you again. Since human beings started out with an eternal connection of heart, we must hold a moment where God’s heart and our hearts meet and rejoice together. Then, we must establish a standard where this can be applied to the value of the whole. Until then, God is always sad.
God has worked for a long period of six thousand years to find a nobody like me. In God’s eyes, no matter how insignificant human beings are, they cannot be abandoned forever because we have a parent-child relationship (with God). This is because the relationship between God and man is an inseparable relationship and a relationship of dual characteristics.
Yesterday we spoke about the meaning of dual characteristics. It is an inseparable relationship. The relationships of dual characteristics is an inseparable relationship. You cannot separate mind and body; you cannot separate husband and wife; you cannot separate brothers and sisters. (It is an) inseparable relationship. How great a blessing this is!
You must understand that if you go to the spirit world without fulfilling the Will of God who has called on you, God will have to feel pity for you again. If I fail to complete it on earth, the responsibility goes back to God. Fallen human beings took away their cross as they died, and they gave it to God, but no one has taken away God’s cross.
This is really miserable!
Fallen human beings, as they die, lay all burdens and crosses for which they were not responsible to (before?) God. There is no one among fallen human beings who takes away the cross of God and goes to the spiritual world. Imagine that each of the 7.8 billion human beings is giving God all the burdens they are not responsible for. How heavy God's burden is! God is carrying the cross of all the spirits who have come so far.
Who has ever reduced God’s burden? When you die and (you) could not fulfill your own portion of responsibility, all your burden, all your unfulfilled missions go to God in the end. Can you imagine (that) out of 7.8 billion people, no one has completed (his or her responsibility). Nobody has fulfilled their portion of responsibility. Then who is finally responsible for it? God has to be responsible for it. His burden has become heavier and heavier and heavier and heavier. Can you imagine since Adam and Eve fell, all our ancestors, all the spirits have given that kind of heavy job, heavy burden to Heavenly Parent?
Who are filial sons and daughters? How can we reduce his burden? Who will liberate his heart? That is a really big question. True Parents came to the earth; they are the ones who have paid all the indemnity and finally reduced Heavenly Parent’s burden. True Parents have taken responsibility for God’s burden. They are also responsible for all of humankind’s (burden). That is why I am incredibly grateful to True Father and True Mother. They are the ones who are carrying the cross for all the spirits. This is really amazing! What is our final goal? How we can become filial sons and daughters and release God’s burden. At least (concerning) my own portion of responsibility, before I die I must not put all my burden on Heavenly Parent.
Since human beings started out with an eternal connection of heart, we must hold a moment where God’s heart and our hearts meet and rejoice together.
We need to have an experience of reunion. North and South Korean families have been separated for a long time. They have a longing heart to see their grandfather, father, cousins, nieces living in North or South Korea. When they (finally) meet together, how much they cry with each other! There is wailing and wailing and wailing. That is why each human being needs to have that kind of moment of meeting with Heavenly God. “Do you know how long I waited for you?” A father and son come together, hugging each other, embracing and kissing each other and shedding tears and wailing and wailing. When can we have such a moment of reunion between God and myself? Someday. If we cannot have that kind of moment on the earth and go to the spiritual world, someday 1,000 or 2,000 years later without exception we need to have that moment of reunion between God and myself. Then we can truly comfort God. How much he suffered because of me!
You must know that until you are completed, God is always sad.
Heavenly Father who is in such position is still calling on human beings on earth. He is calling on you today, even at this moment when you are here to attend worship service. He is also searching for us in the billowy place of death. Why must our Heavenly Father stand in such a position? Originally, human beings and God were in a parent and child relationship. After creating the universe, God devoted His greatest energy to create human beings. He exhausted 100 percent of His Heart of every Heart, mind of every mind and body of every body. This is why God has left the verse in the Bible, “with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…”
Heavenly Father who is in such position is still calling on human beings on earth. He is calling on you today, even at this moment when you are here to attend Morning Devotion.
God is also searching for us in the billowy place of death.
Why must our Heavenly Father stand in such a position? Originally, human beings and God were in a parent and child relationship.
After creating the universe, God devoted His greatest energy to create human beings. He exhausted 100 percent of His Heart of every Heart, mind of every mind and body of every body.
If Heavenly Father, in creating human beings, had just used his power and energy 30% or 40% or 70%, not 100%, then he would not have been qualified to be the father of human beings. True love means what? Investing everything that I have, more than 100%. That is why if I invest everything I have, I am very much exhausted. After a mother delivers a baby using her maximum energy and power, she is completely exhausted with no more power left. Human beings resemble God. If Heavenly Father had only used 30% or 40% or 80% of his power and had not done his best, he would have had no qualification to be human beings’ father and mother.
This is why God has left the verse in the Bible, “with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…”
God loves me in such a way. He loves me with all his heart and all his soul and all his mind 120%. That is why the Bible says that human beings need to love in that way, because God loves that way. How amazing it is!
Today’s Youth Ministry: Jacob’s Course - I am a Mediator
1. Jacob did a really good job as a mediator. Like Jacob, we must do well as a mediator. We are all mediators. The Messiah has to mediate between God and man, John the Baptist had to mediate between fallen man and Jesus. As the central being of the Four Position Foundation, I have the mission of a mediator to spread the Blessing to people around me. Therefore, as a mediator, I must be perfect before the whole purpose. However, this is really not easy. I must always acquire the wisdom of heaven so that the people around me can be at peace.
In my family, in my society, in my job place, I am a mediator. In our family four position foundation (I need to be) a mediator between brothers, between parents and children, between siblings, between husband and wife. I am the mediator. I need to relate very well with God, with my spouse, with my children, with my siblings. I need to fulfill the role of the mediator. This is very important. Jesus came as the mediator.
2. In our life of faith, when someone receives recognition from his central Abel figure and the relationship is continuous, it can be said that there is a foundation of faith. In the family, it’s being trusted by the parents, and in our life of faith, it’s being trusted by my Abel that establishes the foundation of faith.
3. The next stage is the siblings’ relationship. This is creating the foundation of substance. Therefore, if I fulfill my mission as the mediator well, I can realize this foundation of substance. Here, the role of the mediator is to bring three people together. If I do well in my role as a mediator between my Abel of faith and Cain, a movement of the heart will take place and my Cain figure and I will maintain the relationship of the heart.
That is why in the family, what is the foundation of faith? You are completely trusted by your father and mother. Your father and mother have confidence in you: “I can trust my son. I can declare my son and daughter are a filial son and daughter.” That means you already have a foundation of faith in your family. In your job place if your boss can say, “I can trust this guy very well. He can fulfill his responsibilities very well.” If you have that kind of trust foundation with your central figure, that means you have a foundation of faith.
However, what is the foundation of substance? It is the relationship between Cain and Abel. Between siblings. Even though you love your father and mother, if your relationship is not so good with your siblings, that means you don’t have a foundation of substance in your family. What is your relationship with your brothers and sisters? Do you trust each other? Do I love my older brother like my parents? Do I love my younger brother as I love my parents?” If you are trusted by your older brother, by your younger brother, by your siblings and they treat you as a parent, then you already have a foundation of substance in your family. In your workplace or in your church, in your relationship with your Cain or Abel, if you are trusted by your Abel and Cain, if your Cain says, “Wow! You are my God. I respect you. I love you. I try to follow you. I try to resemble you,” if you are recognized by your Cain, you already have a foundation of substance. In your workplace if you not only build a relationship with your boss but with your colleagues and your own brothers and sisters, (this is a foundation of substance). This is very important: how to apply (implement?) the foundation of faith and foundation of substance. That is why you need to do very well in the position of a mediator.
4. Even while being insulted in front of his own mother, if Jacob had cooperated with his brother, how moved would his older brother Esau have been? Even if he were misunderstood and reviled by his mother instead of his brother, if Jacob acted as a mediator, even if his mother scolded him, she would have praised Jacob on the inside. If Jacob was insulted instead of Esau, the family would be at peace.
5. If our Unification Church was reviled instead of Christianity, established churches would not be punished by God. Look at Jesus’ crucifixion. Jesus took responsibility for all those who disbelieved, and he became the sacrifice of reconciliation.
6. He was Jesus who took responsibility for all human’s disbelief and prayed for forgiveness and blessings for his enemies even in the last moment of death. Because Jesus suffered so, paid indemnity, and became the sacrifice of reconciliation, even disbelievers in Judaism could go to heaven.
7. The amazing thing about Jacob is that he did a good job of being a mediator. He bears problems and troubles of others and carries their cross in their place. However, it is difficult to do that in our own lives. We just try to live on the comfortable side.
8. In the family, women should especially be able to play the role of a mediator. Father spoke often about this. If women cannot play the role of a mediator well, the entire family collapses. No matter if a household is a little unstable, if a woman takes the center and does well mediating between her daughter-in-law, it will return to the original state. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that the woman is the key to the success or failure of family harmony. Of course, men must also do well.
9. A woman is the Tree of Good and Evil. When a woman is good in the family, it becomes a good family, and when a woman is evil, it becomes an evil family. This is because she plays the role of a mediator of love. That is why, according to a Korean proverb, the success or failure of a family depends on which woman is married to it.
I realized since joining the church more than 47 years ago, how important the role of a woman is. When I look at my mother, she is the center of true love. She is fulfilling the role of mediator. In my family we are four generations living together. Being a Japanese wife is not simple. My wife has played the role of mediator between husband and children, and related very well. That is why I determined that my day job(?) is how to support my wife, how I can love my wife so she will have more strength to love the children, love her father and love other people. Wow!
Please, we need to remember that the woman is the Tree of Good and Evil. She can become good or evil. When a woman is good in the family, it becomes a good family. And when the woman is evil, it becomes an evil family. That is why, I realized, how important the role of the woman is. All children come from the mother’s womb. That is why the woman is the center of true love. That is why the woman, in her role as the mediator, relates to the husband, relates to the parents, relates to all brothers and sisters, to daughter-in-law, to younger siblings, whatever.
That is why in Korea I go to every house(?) and ask how to create a beautiful environment in that family. It is not up to the man; it is up to the woman. You can’t just get permission to go somewhere from the husband; you need to get permission from the wife. If you get permission from the wife, then you can enter that house (?) any time.
The woman is not (just) a woman. The mother is not just a mother. Her great role is that of a mediator, as a center of true love. Let’s become great mediators to everyone -- between siblings, between Cain and Abel, between God and True Parents.(?)
